I haven't read a BJ romance this good in a while. I took off half a star for the cliches. Using the same themes in every book gets redundant. At times it took me out of the story.

*Woman with flowing shoulder length hair
*Small waist, nice round ass and firm perky breast, not big but just right
*Arrogant playboy who has never had the "best" sex until.... Now he can't sleep with anyone else.
*Man afraid to commit but sex is so good it must mean... She's the one.
*They fight the love but still have inc

Very good book and excellent conclusion to the series. Though this one can stand alone, the first two books (A Brother's Honor and A Man's Promise) should be read for the best experience of the story. Fifteen years earlier, the brothers' mother was murdered and their father went to prison for the crime. After college, each of them left home and started their lives elsewhere, trying to escape the memories. Then their grandfather had a heart attack and they came home to fulfill his dying wish. I loved this book!!! This is the final book in the The Grangers series and in my honest opinion it was the best. I'll will post my review soon!!

Review:
A Lover's Vow is the third and the final book in the The Grangers series. If you're unfamiliar with The Grangers you'll want to start at the beginning with A Brother's Promise as there is a mystery regarding who killed their mother. This mystery drives the story line and ties the three books together. I've enjoyed this series immensely and I'm so

NOW THAT WAS A GOOOOOOOOD BOOK! Omg!!!! A Lover's Vow is soooo worthy of having its own day!!! I dedicated this day to this book only. Brenda Jackson expertly penned The Grangers series and this last book, A Lover's Vow exceeded my high expectations!

In Book three, questions are asked and answered. Fingers are pointed left and right and for a while everyone is a suspect. The question is posed, "Who killed Sylvia Granger?" My emotions were all over the place. The suspense had me on edge! The heat

Lover’s Vow is the third and last installment of The Grainger’s trilogy. As you can assume it answers questions bringing the story to a close. I enjoyed all the brothers, but maybe Dalton a little more. Their personalities were typical of their positions; Jace the oldest and the voice of reason and leader, Caden the middle child tended to be in his own world and doing things his own way, and good ole Dalton, the little brother that got on everyone’s nerves…..in love of course.

It kept you engag

This is the first book by Brenda Jackson I've read, and I look forward to reading more by this author. This is a romance novel with a significant mystery woven into the plot. I appreciate that the mystery (involving both a murder from long ago and more recent white collar crime) was well developed, and not merely an afterthought to the romance. The only detail that didn't resonate with me was how quickly the mystery was wrapped up at the end. It actually happened so fast that I needed to reread ...more

I love Brenda Jackson - but the last couple of books that I have picked up by her have been trash.
With this one I got so frustrated and impatient that I skipped (not flicked but actually skipped!) half the book!!
Jules and Danton have hated each other since I don't know when. They meet again at one of Danton's brothers weddings and sparks fly(of course)Now let's pause here for a moment:
Danton's way of talking to a woman and his arrogance really turned me off. I like a guy with some edge but this

Arrogance, Romance, Passion and Danger is what you will find in,
A Lover’s Vow.
A Lover’s Vow was worth the wait for a great ending to the series.
Many questions that was left unanswered in the previous books was answered as “Who killed Sylvia Granger” and “Would playboy Dalton
succumb to love. There was a great deal of surprises and twists to the
suspects list. We find out a little more about what Sylvia Granger was all about. Many players from the previous books returned with a bit of update on t

I can truly say that this book was well worth the wait. I loved how Brenda Jackson weaved us through the romance and the danger. She knew just the right amount needed for each book. This is the 3rd book in the Granger Series and brings everything home. The romance is the love/hate relationship between Dalton & Jules. As much as they hate each other they are also drawn to each other. Both of them are working on sheer determination. Dalton to get Jules in his bed and Jules to find out who is respo ...more

Lover's Vow

Oh I fell in love with bad boy wild child Dalton from the first book. This time the woman lover, sex em and leave em guy has met his match in Jules. She is tough as nails and won't let Daltons arrogant, entitled to any woman he wants drop them when he's done get away with a thing. As opposites as they are they are similar as well. So their romance makes you go aaaahhhhh.

This is Dalton Granger's story which I am pretty sure most of us have been waiting for since Book 1 LOLL!!! Dalton who is the youngest of his brothers is a hot mess and the things he says out of his mouth will have you on the floor.

What a fantastic ending to this wonderful trilogy by author Brenda Jackson. This book tied up all the loose ends from the previous two books, mainly who killed Sylvia Granger and if Sheppard Granger murdered her. Well, I tell you that it all comes to a shocking revelation that you would not believe. This book was very entertaining with a lot of witty dialogue from Dalton with other characters as well as his love-hate relationship with Jules. Once you start this book you will not want to put it d ...more

As soon as this book was in my hands, I dropped everything to read it. This is the third book in the Granger Series and please read the first two before reading this one. I've been waiting on Dalton's story for what seems like forever, but as usual Brenda Jackson does not disappoint. There is so much going on in this book that there is never a dull moment. The one thing that I always find admirable while reading a Brenda Jackson
story is the strong sense of family. The Grangers are a close knit family that are on the verge of losing everything because of long withheld secrets. Dalton is the youngest in this family and A Lover's Vow is his story. Dalton is searching for answers that may save his family legacy. Jules is the private investigator he asks to help him. There are a lot of unexpected twists and turns along the way that will keep you on the

I had decided "self, you really should rate the audiobooks you read - especially if/when you review them just as you finish them." And I was going to - but :X for this book it felt like I lost focus a lot and missed chunks.
And I WAS going to immediately start it as soon as I finished it; and it was the plan till [totally guessing since again, audiobook - no way of knowing when it happened/too difficult to track down] like 85 or 90% in and I was like "no this book jumped the shark too much."

Suspenseful page turner, full of surprises, twist & turns. This is the final installment to The Granger series and it's centered around the youngest brother, Dalton, and his love interest Jules. They're both independent, stubborn but their sexual chemistry is off the charts and they're in love with one another but to arrogant & sassy to admit it.
On the other hand, Jules has reopened the case to find out who killed Sylvia. New suspects are coming to light and more information is being discovered

Fabulous as always!

I can't say there was anything about this book, or this series, that I didn't like. This book certainly had more suspense then the other two. I kept thinking I knew who did it and was quite surprised to find out who the murderer was. As always with Mrs. Jackson, you have men who really know how to love their women. And strong women who know how to love their men. I would recommend this book (series) to anyone who enjoys a good romance murder mystery. I'll be patiently waiting

Sad to see the story end.

I am a Brenda Jackson fan! I have enjoyed reading about the four Grainger men and looked forward to the conclusion of their quest to get their father, Shepard, out of prison after 15 years of time served for the murder of his wife.

This is the story of his youngest son Dalton and PI Jules Branford. This couple was hot! The scene in the kitchen were they broke the chair was off the charts...Ms. Brenda! Buy the entire series and you win't be disappointed.

A Lover's Vow: Over the years I have read a lot of Brenda Jackson's books and I have LOVED every last one them. But this one is by far the best. Not only is it a love story it is a who done it mystery. One minute you will think it's one person and then that theory is blown out of the water. I pray that Brenda Jackson will continue to write for many more years to come. Usually it will take me one day to read Brenda Jackson's books, but I had to stop to study for a final, go pick my daughter up fr ...more

This is far and away the BEST book written to date by Mrs. Jackson. As the third and final book in the Granger series Mrs. Jackson continues to weave a story of love, lust and intrigue. The relationship between Jules and Dalton is steamy and complicated. When Jules sets out to find Dalton's mom's killer, placing herself in direct danger will Dalton realize his true feelings? Will Jules "get her man". Must read for both romance and mystery lovers.

Good Read But.....

There are some authors that you always expect to provide a good solid read, Ms Jackson is one of them. The storyline is good and wraps up the mysteries from A Brother's Honor and A Man's Promise. Although Brenda's love scenes are usually steamy, her books are usually classy. This one was not so great. The language was often foul, continuous dropping of the "f" and "BS" words detracted me from the story and I could not give it better than a 3 star rating.

Quick review thoughts: 5 stars all around!

This 3rd series ending novel in the Grangers romantic suspense series was fantastic! I love everything about - the sexual tension between them, the investigative work Jewels did, and the continuation of all the previous couples' romantic story lines intertwining with the mystery of who really killed Sylvia Granger.

I was looking forward to reading this book because Dalton is my favorite.
He's funny, says what's on his mind and arrogant. Really disappointed in his story.
I wanted him to work to get Jules, she gave in too easily, it was just about sex with them.
I like to see a relationship build, I guess they fell in love between the sheets.
