This series is exactly what it advertises, it’s hot and nerdy with charming characters and lighthearted plots, perfectly satisfying my urge for a quick and fun new adult romance.

It was supposed to be their last hurrah before the triad of nerd girl friends joined adult real world. But chemistry major Felicity Stone was the only one to reach their intended destination. Albeit with an unintended companion and a deal to pretend to be the handsome stranger’s fake girlfriend during his brother’s w

Felicity is a chemistry major taking time off to meet up with her friends, Charlie and Layla for spring break. Before boarding the plane, Felicity finds out that both will be delayed and so she’ll be on her own for much of the trip. Enter Lucas, a fellow passenger and, of course, the guy she ends up next to for the flight. Lucas is gorgeous and attentive so that’s hardly a bad thing.

Lucas is flying out for his brother’s destination wedding and in hopes of keeping an ex-girlfriend at bay he asks

An enjoyable New Adult romance that was both sweet and hot, Her Winning Formula was a really good read. It was fun, sweet, and I liked it.

Felicity and Lucas were both great. Felicity was socially awkward in a way that made her easy to relate to. She was crazy smart and, despite her tendency to accidentally offend people, she was likable. Lucas was simply a good guy. Sweet, funny, and definitely adorable, he was just great.

The romance was okay. I felt like it moved well at first, then got stuck i

There is something about a socially awkward person learning to be what they perceive as "normal" that I love reading about. Yes Felicity was a bit awkward, but it wasn't that bad. She just needed to learn the "rules" to interact with people. It seemed like once Lucas laid them out for her she was fine.

I loved watching Felicity and Lucas go from strangers to so much more. I was glad that both of them realized quickly that things were more than what they appeared on the surface and they went for

This was the third book in a trio of loosely connected books about the romantic adventures of three geeky girls on their separate Spring Break adventures. I love cheering for an underdog heroine in a romance so I grabbed this one up eagerly.

Felicity has a bit of a rough start, but finally gets on a plane to meet her one of her best friends for a Spring Break adventure on the beaches of South Padre Island. Now granted, the perfect trip is already spoiled because one girlfriend already bowed out

Her Winning Formula is the third novella in the Hot & Nerdy Series by Shannyn Schroeder. Each of these stories can be read as standalones though as they are about interconnected characters. In Her Winning Formula, Felicity Stone is headed to Texas for spring break. She meets a handsome stranger at the airport and they get off on the wrong foot. But when they are on the airplane and Lucas starts to have some issues with flying, Felicity helps h

I love this series. I have read the first two and I was really excited when the last one came out and I wasn’t disappointed. Shannyn created three novellas that tell different stories but come together to create one fun and sexy series.

Felicity Stone might have the most money but she is the most uncomfortable around everyone. She doesn’t understand how to interpret what people say or how they act. Felicity easily offends people with her blunt nature. When she meets Lucas at the airport they have

Her Winning Formula is the third and final novella in the first set of Hot & Nerdy books from author Shannyn Schroeder. Chemistry student Felicity Stone and Special Ed Teacher Lucas Tanner meet at an airport and end up spending time together when Lucas asks her to be his fake girlfriend while attending family gatherings centered around his brother's wedding. The story sticks to the usual formula of a fake couple falling for one another and end

Cute story about Lucas, a teacher who seems to have the ability to fix the problems of those around him, and Felicity, a chemistry major who has book smarts but lacks the ability on interpreting human behavior and interactions.

I love the interactions and chemistry between Felicity and Lucas, although I really didn't get to see Felicity's lack of knowledge when it came to talking with other people. Maybe because Lucas sort of c

Pretty much middle of the road for me. Still cleaning off my Kindle so that gets this series down. In particular, this book does have an HEA, it also has a series arc epilogue in it. Dual third person pov's and the writing itself is pretty darn good. Good fluff read.

Just as the title suggests this story contained many of my favorite elements and put a smile on my face from the very first page. From its likable main couple to their carefree and lighthearted interactions this story was a heartwarming story of a woman who finally starts battling her insecurities to start living life to the fullest and the supportive man drawn to her. It's a great end to the romantic journey to HEA for a nerdy trio of friends.

I received a copy of this story from NetGalley for an honest review for The Reading Room Blog.

The Hot & Nerdy Series has been a refreshing set of novella’s where the leading ladies are as equally equipped with smarts as they are with beauty. The hotties they find that show them life outside of intellectual pursuits do not hurt the stories either. I was excited to check out the series conclusion, Her Winning Formula.

Felicity Stone has the smarts to be at the top of her class at

Chemistry major Felicity planned on spending her spring break with her best friends Charlie and Layla, but their plans have been upended, and the socially awkward braniac finds herself vacationing on her own. When the gorgeous man next to her on the flight asks her to stand in as his date at his brother's wedding, she's worried about being able to pull off the charade. But what she should really be worried about is her attraction and growing friendship with Lucas.

Her Winning Formula by Shannyn Schroeder is the 3rd book in her Hot & Nerdy series. I had enjoyed the first two books, but did have some minor issues. I was not sure if Felicity would interest me. However, I have to say that Her Winning Formula was the best one yet. I loved this fun, sexy and charming romance.

Felicity is our heroine, and she is the one who planned the spring break trip to Texas for her and her two friends. Layla and Charlie never made it, as we see what happened to them in the f

Felicity is the girl who has it all – and she is making the arrangements for all of her friends to join her in Texas over spring break. The only problem with that is Layla is stranded in Georgia and Charlie is going to a HackCon. So, Felicity is spending her last spring break of freedom alone.

Schroeder has developed these three friends solidly, and they all have brains and skills that are considered ‘nerdy’ by some, but are so well integrated that these are girls you want to know. Felicity is t

When I first saw the series Hot & Nerdy by Shannyn Schroeder, I just had to take a look. Three books about three "nerd" girls, almost done with college and trying, unsuccessfully, to have a last hoorah together before heading in different directions. The first book, Her Best Shot, gave us Layla - the math whiz. The second was Her Perfect Game with Charlie the hacker. And this final story is Felicity, the science nerd.

One of the best things about this trilogy is that its not the same girl, just

This series is one of the most fast paced, cute, and interesting books I have read. The characters in this series are very memorable and you can actually imagine them being in your college and relate to them. The story is very believable and the characters are great. I love how they interact in this book and how there was this chemistry between the two main characters right away. The author did a great job by showing how felicity was was so s

While in route to her spring break destination Felicity meets Lucas. Since her plans have been changed and she's no longer meeting her best friends Charlie and Layla, Felicity decides to go along with Lucas' plan to have her play his girlfriend while he attends his brother's wedding. Not much of a hardship since he's gorgeous, she just has to remember that's she's just laying a part and keep her distance.

Lucas is drawn to Felicity's smarts and understated beauty. So having her playing his girlf

I have to say I think this one is my fav out of the series. Here goes my review.

Felicity is the introvert out of the three girls. She's the scientist out of them and super aware of her faults. Although some wallow in their faults she prefers to deal with them and try to fix them. Ok she wallows a little but not much.. Lol I really liked Felicity because even through her faults she is sweet, accommodating, understanding, and more outgoing than she thinks. Hoping to have an awesome spring break wi

Having read the other two novellas in this series, and enjoying them, I thought I'd give the final one a go. Just like the others, this was a fun, easy read that was a great break.

I like the overall story but, even though I knew it was a novella going into reading it, I still wished there was a little more. Just like the first book (Her Best Shot) I felt things moved a little too quickly sometimes and I was enjoying things too much that I couldn't

Felicity was the only one to make it to their spring break destination. Nervous about being alone on spring break with no plans, she is fretting about spring break. She meets Lucas on the plane and he gives her a winning formula for spring break.

Lucas is a nervous flyer. Felicity is an introvert and has trouble making conversations. When the two sit near each other on the plane they find a winning formula. Lucas is able to draw Felicity out of her shell. Felicity makes Lucas forget about his

Felicity is beyond smart but when it comes to interacting with others, shes pretty much socially inept. She was supposed to go on a vacation with her best friends but one got stranded and the other couldn't make it, shes at the location but with no one to spend it with. While on the plan with Lucas after some brief connection between the two he asks her as a favor in her being his "date" for a wedding reception to get an ex and family off his back. Little did they for things to heat up.

Felicity is the last of three friends who meet certain delays in coming together for their Spring Break vacation. In this story, Felicity meets our hero on the plane :) cue our hero of the story, Lucas.
It just so happens that Lucas needs a go-between at his brother's wedding he is on his way too so of course he asks the beautiful girl sitting next to him to do him this favor .... yea, LOL and when I say LOL, i MEAN LOL thru most of this b

Felicity may be a science whiz, but deep inside, she's a loner. She doesn't do well with crowds or meeting people. An introvert, actually. Luckily, she's been able to form alliance with two other geniuses like her, and with Layla and Charlie, she feels at ease and at home. Things started turning around when she finds herself alone for springbreak. Lucas, a man she meets for the first time in the airport, asks her to be his dinner date to his brother's wedding. Instead of sulking and thinking how ...more

Out of the whole Hot & Nerdy series Her Winning Formula is by far my favorite. I was easily able to relate to Felicity, much more then I was able to with Charlie or Layla. In my personal opinion I loved the ending to this one the most, the other two books ended in a similar matter that this one didn't.

Lucas is also my favorite male character from the whole series. There was something about him that drew me to his character more then the others. Bu

I think my favorite thing about this book is the care that was obviously taken in developing Felicity’s personality. She is so just blunt, abrupt, and lacking in basic social skills that it would have been easy for her to come off as abrasive and unlikeable. Thankfully, this is not the case. Her awkwardness feels genuine, but is also more endearing than off-putting.

This novella is part of an interconnected trilogy—each book focusing on one of three friends on their last year of college spring br
