4 Stars!

I thought this book was a whole lot of fun and really ended up enjoying the story. This is the seventh book in the series so I was a little hesitant to read it without having read any of the previous books but I was able to follow along without any difficulty. I am sure that if I had read the earlier books in the series I would have known the characters much better and some of their interactions would have had a greater meaning for me

Every once in a while you just need something different to read. You know what I mean, something fun, exciting, action intense, with a great romance and those characters that capture you 100%, Night of the Living Demon Slayer completely fit this bill.

Lizzie is asked to help out a necromancer in New Orleans. There is a big, bad voodoo priest raising some really nasty black souls and he needs Lizzie’s help.

Lizzie, of course, calls in her back up and the entire gang heads to a haunted house for th

What a fun read. Lizzie goes up against a dark voodoo church. Good thing she has a biker gang of witches, a husband who is a shape-shifter, a dog who talks and a dragon. I won this book on Goodreads.

Review courtesy of All Things Urban Fantasy.

Biker witches, sassy dialogue, and demon slaying are the key ingredients for fun antics in Angie Fox's Demon Slayer series. NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEMON SLAYER, adds a dash of voodoo alligator zombies to this already perfect recipe of a series, and the result is more awesomeness. The fact that there is an alligator voodoo zombie alone should inform you of the absolute quirkiness of this series. It's silly without being unreasonably so and still maintains
I received this from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

Night of the Living Demon Slayer is what I have come to expect from Angie Fox and the Demon Slayer series...a well written story with plenty action, suspense, humor and let's not forget the steamy romance. Can anyone say Dimitri? He is one "Hot" shape-shifting griffin who just happens to be Lizzie's husband!

Lizzie is on a mission to help Carpenter down in New Orleans. Nothing is ever simple when Carpenter is involved much less Voodo

Lizzie Brown-Kallinikos is one of the world’s last demon slayers. She and her were-griffon husband have been trying to live a semi-normal life, difficult to achieve with rowdy biker witches and a small dog with a pet dragon. An ally who had helped Lizzie defeat the Earl of Hell calls on the favor she owes him. She and the biker witches travel to New Orleans to help the necromancer with his problem. Lizzie must face a magic unfamiliar to her, a brand of magic tha

First off let me say that this is the first of this series by Angie Fox I have read, I have read and enjoyed her Southern Spirits series, this was great! It was full of laugh out loud moments. The fact that I know a couple grey hair biker women made this book even better.

The concept of a thirty member biker gang of grandmother age witches called the Red Skulls who back up their Leaders granddaughter, Elizabeth (Lizzie), who is a Demon Slayer, by the way, was pretty

I've got a couple of this authors books just sat on my kindle but for some reason just keep passing them by. I'm not really a huge fan of comedy in books although I enjoy humourous situations and had the very mistaken belief that this author writes funny, light paranormal stories. I was totally bowled over by this book and im so glad I chose to take the plunge. Fast paced, intense and quirky! If you've missed this authors work than like me you have most certainly missed out!

These books never disappoint! They are filled with snarky good humor, witty banter, insane situations, and some sexy good times. I don't recommend diving right into this as your first book of the series, so please start from the beginning (you won't be disappointed).

Lizzie and her witch family are finally getting settled for the first time in years. Of course, nothing in her life is ever actually settled. After some dragon/dog/vood

Angie Fox, does it again!! Lizzie, a Demon slayer, her hubby, a gorgeous Griffin shape shifter, her dog Pirate, Flappy a young dragon, plus her Grandmother and 30 biker witches, are perfect for another exciting adventure! Lizzie's necromancer friend, Carpenter, calls in a favor to help get rid of a voodoo Boker in New Orleans, that was raising black souls! They pack up and head to New Orleans, and stay in Anteater's haunted family home! What was supposed to be a qu

A fun side trip to New Orleans. Lizzie and the Biker Witches are enjoying a well-deserved break when Lizzie is called on to repay a favor. Of course the witches can’t let her go alone. What is supposed to be a quick fix turns into quite something else altogether. Mix Lizzie and the gals with Voodoo and zombies and you know there will be some side splitting fun. Night of the Living Demon Slayer is a fast fun romp that will leave you wanting more. You will get more out of this story if you’ve read ...more

I received and ARC from the author in exchange for an honest review.

This book was so extremely hard to put down that I finished it in one evening. I love this series and all the whacked out characters. Just thinking of a leather clad grandma on a harley puts a smile on my face. Lizzie is at her butt-kicking best! My only complaint about the book is that there wasn't enough shirtless Dimitri, but what there was of the super hot shape-shifting griffin was amazing. Plus I can never get enough Pirat

I got this as arc and could not wait to read the antics of the grandma biker crew with our fave demon slayer, her dog,Pirate and everybodies fave Griffin. This time the setting is New Orleans and it is a like you are there. I need some Beignets! Of course the gag is off to Ant-Eaters fam home(which is haunted)Carpenter gets captured and the chaos(and biker chics along w ...more

Another homerun from Angie Fox, this is a great series one of my favorites! In this book Lizzie and her band of Biker Witches are off to the Voodoo capital New Orleans. While sexy Dimtri is off going to a Griffin meeting, Lizzie gets wrapped up in some seriously dark voodoo, all to help a necromancer from the past. It doesn’t go to well and she is in it deep. She needs to rescue her friend, deal with a haunted house, and keep the dead from rising again.
I couldn’t put this story down and I can’t

Lizzie is a Demon Slayer. Her Grandmother is a witch whose coven is a motorcycle gang called the Red Skulls. Add a pet dragon and a dog who speaks perfect English and her husband, Deimitri, who is a sexy Griffin and you have a fast-paced, humorous, interesting afternoon read. Lizze and the The Red Skulls agree to help Carpenter, a necromancer, deal with a rogue alligator in New Orleans.

Lizzie is enjoying married life and staying home for a change until a necromancer from the past comes asking for help. This means Lizzie a d the biker witches have to travel to New Orleans. What they find is disturbing for the living and the dead! Lizzie has her hands full again with rescuing her friend, dealing with a haunted house and stoping a voodoo bokor from raising the dead. Pirate and the witches provide the usual comic relief. Great addition to the series a d you will love every minute ...more

'Night of the Living Demon Slayer' was another great addition to a fantastic series, 'Demon Slayer'. The storyline pulled me in and didn't let go. The way it played out was full of fun dialog, witty remarks, creative scenarios and beings and a great witch/voodoo show-down in the beautiful city of New Orleans. The characters are an array of colorful beings. Lizzie is just as bad-ass as ever. I absolutely love the Biker Witches. They always crack me up. I can't wait to read more. A great add to yo ...more
Of the books have had a chance to read in the series think this is my favorite tale out of the 5. Having missed the 4th and 6th books still feel like did not miss a lot of Lizzie growing more confident with her myriad Demon Slayer abilities.

Now she is shown in her best light yet as not only a kick ass DS but also embracing her Biker Witch family fully as they, Pirate, Floppy and Dimitri prove to be formidable allies when Lizzie takes on an evil Voodoo Boker.
So, I Read This Book Today
Angie Fox just keeps the fun going! Amazon’s ‘Freebie” program turned up a jewel when I found the first book of this series, The Accidental Demon Slayer. As I said in that review, “I am thrilled to say I wound up with a ruby. Hey, I like rubies better than diamonds, so sue me!”

In book 7 of Angie Fox's paranormal mystery series, we find accidental demon slayer Lizzie Brown, her talking canine, Pirate, her hunky shape-shifter husband, Dmitri, her grandmother and the biker witch crew, and her dragon-in-training, Flappy, heading down to New Orleans to lend a hand to Lizzie's friend and necromancer, Carpenter. The deceptively simply mission quickly turns into more than any of them bargained for, as they venture into some unchartered territory in the dark, ugly part of vood ...more

Lizzie is headed for the Big Easy. Strange things are happening and it is more that her old friend Carpenter can handle alone. Night of the Living Demon Slayer by Angie Fox

This novel had a few concrete themes for the reader to explore. These included the differences between life and death, good and evil, youth and age, birth and rebirth. Lizzie, as the main character, and the biker witches provide the right amount of humorous interplay to the storyline of a New Orleans takeover by the dark side. The reader connects with the characters right from the beginning of the book. I immediately felt sorry for Lizzy when she was

How can you not love a book that has a talking dog, who has a pet dragon, a crazy biker grandma who happens to be a witch with a coven who is just as crazy as she is? Also a handsome husband who happens to be a Griffon?
This time Lizzie and Crew are off to NOLA to help out an old friend named Carpenter, (how cool of a name is that?) Lizzie, Granny, and Crew are going up against a powerful Voodoo Priest, which will take everything Lizzie and Crew can throw at them.

Lizzie is going to New Orleans on what is supposed to be a quick trip. With Lizzie it's never that easy. She enters the world of voodoo. She is still trying to learn to deal magic and now voodoo is thrown in. One of my favorite parts of the book is a parade of zombies walking down the streets and no one thinks it's strange.

I'm reading the series out of order, but I never felt lost. Angie gives just enough background in the beginning of the book. I'm definitely going back to read the other books

I have to start off by saying that I LOVE this series and yet again, Angie Fox does not disappoint. With moments that had me laughing out loud and some drool-worthy moments with Lizzie's hubby, a super sexy griffin shapeshifter, I was hooked from the get-go and could not put this one down. When Lizzie is called to repay a favor, things go from a quick, fun trip to New Orleans to spiraling out of control, with the biker grandma and smart-arsed side-kick Pirate the talking dog along for the ride. ...more
