I think the author's subtitle says it all--"A User-friendly Guide for Locating Planets, Stars, and Deep Space Objects." I refer to this rather than write my own review as I am entering this more than 11 years since using the book. However, I can see from my numerous marginal notes and highlights of content that I used this book frequently and to good purpose.
