Chapter 1: Cute! This was definitely written with the adult audience in mind. A lot of the dialogue meaning will go right over kids' heads. Also the PNN reporter is a funny character, and confirms that there's TV in Ponyville?

Chapter 2:
I hope Princess Celestia will appreciate the symbolism inherent in the chaotic juxtaposition of my cutie mark melded into a transformative spiral representing the process of personal maturation as experienced by an introverted artisan!

How have I never read these comics before 😂 Seeing Fluttershy's artistic side was fun!

Chapter 3:
The crown is magic. It won't let her leave the city while she wears it. And she can't take it off... unless we diamond docs starts to lose faith in her as our queen. True executive power is, of course, derived from the people. A chief executive serves at the pleasure of the electorate.

Leave it to Diamond Dogs to deliver a profound political statement in my kids pony comic haha. Rainbow Dash and Trixie were an unlikely but entertaining duo.

The art enhances the the understanding of the story because of the different facial expressions and emotions portrayed in the illustrations help the readers fully understand what the characters are feeling and the plot line.

This book seems to be written for bronies. There are various jokes that are self-aware, and some I didn't get (so the little kiddies probably wouldn't either), but the artwork is superb and the characterization is great. It's also unbearably cute! :D

This covers issues that are also covered in volumes of "Friends Forever" and "Pony Tales", so if you've read all of those, this contains nothing new. Nice to have the comics in hardcover, though.
