When a storm leaves them stranded at sea…

… a group of vacationers find themselves facing an apex predator.

They need to get out of the water to survive.

When Henry and his wife agree to go on a work trip they think it’ll be the answer to all their marital woes, but when their ship is hit by a massive storm their dream come true soon turns into a nightmare. With no food or water and no one coming to save them they’ll have to do whatever it takes to survive.

The only problem is they aren’t alone in the water.

The Taylor’s, a father and son duo are hot the trail of a man-eating shark with a seemingly endless appetite. This same shark once took everything from them and now they’ll do anything for revenge.

This shark isn’t going to go quietly.

Float

Still wondering about the title. The idea about what happened to turn man against fish was interesting, but there are only so many ways to spin this tale. I pretty much enjoyed reading it, though. Only a couple of bad words, so that was good. Editing was not good, but read around it. Not bad overall.

Not bad

This story started out very suspenseful as two brothers take their Dad's boat out without permission. Tragedy strikes in the form of a bull shark as one brother is killed. Many times while reading this I thought I'd missed something so I would go back and find I didn't. I found the writing to be disjointed and in need of another edit but overall it was a good story.

I was let down by this book. The writing often had grammatical errors (as far as I could tell). It also felt like the author was telling more about the characters' feelings instead of showing them through their actions. It had the potential to possibly be a good horror story, but that went sailing out the window. No offense to the author, but I will not be reading this again.

Fun? Read-Good read.

Great, summer read...and now I can't go in the water for a long time! Fast paced, easy read that will have you cringing. The author page was funny and written well.

Enjoyable

Though there were a few misspellings & wrong word usage, I really did enjoy reading FLOAT. It was unputdownable with all the suspense. I look forward to reading more of his books.

Solid fast paced book from a local author!

I thought the revenge plot was pretty interesting, we didn’t know much about the characters but I didn’t really mind that I was more interested in the shark anyways!

I’m only a little scared of the ocean and sharks now!

Quick book for me. Was a lot like many other shark books I’ve read. I enjoyed the book. Would have liked more for the ending to know what happened after the helicopter. I did enjoy the small details during the party, life rafts, the struggles. It helped paint a good picture.

The story itself wasn’t that bad; it just needs a good editing. It was free on Kindle, so….

This is not a bad read I've been listening to the audiobook which sadly brought this way down for me because of the A.I voice that was being used in it.
