As someone who is not religious myself, it is always interesting to read and understand one man's journey towards finding faith. I have long struggled with finding a "Purpose" in life, and I do freely admit that having religion, or in the case of this book, having a "Personal God" would most likely help fill that void within me.

The author put a lot of effort into contrasting various religions against the choice he made after his search for meaning and purpose in his life. I appreciated his summaries of other faiths and religions (it's easy to forget which ones think there is life after death or whether God is personal or impersonal, etc...).
