Content Scope: This encyclopedia covers a multitude of world topics and issues presenting material from various perspectives depending on the culture represented in each article.
Accuracy, Authority, and Bias: The articles are written by multiple authors and offer varying perspectives of issues on which the authors are authorities.
Arrangement and Presentation: The encyclopedia is in order of countries and regions alphabetically and offers an index in which the user can find information quickly.
Relation to Similar Works: Although there are similar items in the collection, none have as much depth on social issues in as many countries around the world as this particular encyclopedia does.
Timeliness and Permanence: This book is a recent publication and therefore the works contained therein are timely. Furthermore, many of the social issues discussed are have been continuing problems throughout history and offer insights into an ever-changing social landscape.
Accessibility and Diversity: This encyclopedia emphasizes global diversity incorporating articles from countries around the world. It is recommended for 8th grade and up which makes it accessible to older middle school students.

Arrangement/Presentation: This reference book is set up into three volumes totaling 1148 pages. The book contains a bibliography, charts diagrams, further reading suggestions, illustrations, index, notes, and numerous photos.
Relation to other works: This encyclopedia would be a great addition to any media centers collections. It connects topics from the past with topics that relate to our world today. It is a book that could be added a great cultural resource addition.
