Sugartown #3

Greetings from Sugartown

Rate this book
Life in Sugartown hasn't always been easy, not for an ex-con like Elijah, and certainly not for Ana, who grew up desperate for a way out.

Meeting Elijah changed all that; Elijah changed a lot of things.

You’d think that after three years together and the worst behind them that life would be a walk in the park, but Sugartown’s sexiest couple may be about to face their biggest obstacles yet.

Between failed marriage proposals, a trampy ex-lover and a tempting new biker, Sugartown is suddenly not so sweet.
They’re head-over-heels in love. It should be simple—but it rarely is.

Will they make it down the aisle to the happy ever after they deserve? Or are some relationships just destined to fail?

Intended for an 18+ audience. Contains explicit sex, violence, a crap-tonne of profanity, and naked encounters with disastrous outcomes.

In this second installment of Anna and Elijah’s story we have less angst (thank God!) but no less drama. After they got their HEA they just want to settle and live in peace… if only they could.
Between old threats from the past, new bikers and biker’s wars and marriage proposals that doesn’t seem to work, a rest is the last thing they get.
And when things start to get pretty hectic yet again, it’s time for them to think: can they fight for their love… or some things aren’t just meant to be?

Rating: 4 Stars.
Storyline: This book was probably one of this year’s most desired sequels. The end of Anna and Elijah’s first book was rushed and we all needed to see a little more of their happy end.
This book deliver just that: an awesome look into their committed life together, without forgetting great smut scenes, sexy biker boys, misunderstandings and SO MUCH DRAMA. I loved it.
Writing Style: First person. Dual POV. Sexy and additive.
Character Development: I loved Elijah. Loved how he was a badass but he completely transformed when he was with Anna. About her… well, she really annoyed me in the beginning but luckily she got over it. It was really nice to see more of their live together.
Steam: HOT!

In Welcome to Sugartown we met Ana, at nineteen she was working at the diner owned by her family filling in her late mother’s shoes as the pie maker in town. We also meet Elijah, an ex-con who rides in to Sugartown on his bike in search of a job at the shop across from said diner. Elijah is described as a 6’3, deliciously tatted aussie. Which is evident by the way he leaves Ana and her bff Holly drooling on the floor of the diner as they watch him pull up through the window.

The chemistry is undeniably strong between Elijah and Ana right off the bat. Only…circumstances prevent them from being together. However once they finally make that move there is no denying that they’re meant for one another. Nothing about their journey is easy in book one. Fast forward to book three! (NOTE: Book two was not their book but they are featured in it.)

In Greetings From Sugartown it looks like big trouble is a brewing and a hoochie is looking for a good screwing. (hoochie is pronounced: who-chee, it references a loose woman)

It all starts with Elijah making a life changing decision. This is then followed by life’s not so kind interruptions that in turn hint to a fate that cannot be determined by him or Ana…one of those interruptions being a HOT new biker in town.
When Ana feels all is not well with Elijah she seeks out the source of his troubles determined to love him through it no matter what.

“Hey, what’s going on with you?”
“I need you to promise me that no matter how bad it gets , no matter how dark my demons are, you’ll never walk away.”
“I promise.”
“Swear it.”
The desperation in his voice is killing me. We’ve had our fair share of fights, and we’ve endured a lot more ups and downs than most couples . I’m no stranger to any of his moods, but these rare bouts of panic frighten me more than his fury ever could.
“I can handle your demons, Elijah.” I shower his face in kisses , attempting to heal the hurt with every press of my lips against his skin, though I have no idea what it means. I just want to erase the pain from his voice, from his heart.
“I’ll take them and wrap them in light, and then I’ll give them back to you, because you need them to make you whole , and without them you wouldn’t be the man I fell in love with.”
“You shouldn’t love me. Not for what I’m about to ask you to do.”

You know what I hate.

I hate doubt…because it has the power to kill any thing if you let it. Is their relationship really strong enough to withstand whatever comes their way? OR are they meant to only be with one another for just a time?

Just when you think the coast is clear of life’s trial filled interruptions you get hit with a sledge hammer to the back of the head. And you’re out. COLD.FACE.DOWN.ON.THE.GROUND.

Find out how it all plays out in Greetings From Sugartown.

My Thoughts
This is actually a pretty quick read, a true fast pace page turner. I've read it twice ;) The Writing: Carmen Jenner is a generous writer; she gives us both the male and female pov which I thoroughly enjoy, there were also plenty of twists that had my jaw on the floor. So let’s just say that I really LOVED the writing PLUS the story was very much entertaining! Jenner excels at making you laugh with some humorous character interactions. Then she goes and steams up your ereader screen with some really HOT sex scenes. In between the belly laughs and great sex both Ana and Elijah are tackling trials that test their relationship as they face off with some insecurity issues taking up residence within each of them.

THE EPILOGUE? FAN-TAB-ULOUS! One of the BEST!

❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ I love love LOVE this town!!! ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤

--**minor spoilers ahead**--

Greetings from Sugartown brought me back to my HAPPY PLACE and gave me more from my favourite couple Elijah & Ana. Three years later they are still happy together and Elijah decides to take their relationship to the next level and finally tie the knot.

But nothing is ever easy when it comes to Elijah & Ana, which means there are some ex-"hussys", hot bikers and failed marriage proposals to overcome first, before they can get their well deserved HEA.

I really enjoyed this little favourite of mine...well, until the last few chapters.

Still, there were so many things I absolutely loved and a lot of moments that made me laugh out loud.
And let's not forget the THE HOT SEX **fanning myself**

I guess these two will always be special to me...

...and Sugartown a place I will most certainly come back to!

☆ I received an ARC from the author in exchange for an honest review. Thank you SO MUCH lovely!! ☆

Well, that was interesting! Life sure is never dull for Elijah and Ana in the land of Sugartown!

Once again, we dive into the lives of these two lovebirds, and while we thought the nitty-gritty was a thing of the past… old demons and obstacles rear their way into the mix along with new twists and turns that will make Ana and Elijah second guess everything that they’ve been working toward: including wedding bells!

Greetings from Sugartownn, won't leave readers disappointed as we see “Eliana” gear up toward their HEA (or least they hope it to be) while learning how to cope and let go of past hurts and scars while embracing life, your own self worth, and the people who love you.

--And don’t worry guys, in true Ana and Elijah fashion, THERE IS hot, steamy sex included!! *woohoo!!* As well as memorable appearances from Jackson and Holly; along with, funny interactions between their three year old daughter, Pepper, and Ana’s little brother, Sammy, that will make you laugh out loud at their antics and feel worried for their parents!! Hahahaha--

I really loved this addition to the series as it interjects a sense of bringing out the best and worst in each other in the most crucial of situations. Everyone has their strengths and everyone has their flaws or weaknesses. Ana and Elijah are no different from this. It’s what makes us human and Carmen Jenner demonstrates on this beautifully.

We get to see new sides to Elijah and Ana that we’ve never seen before, some of which made me want to strangle or sympathize with Ana; and others where I saw a much more gentler and considerate side of Elijah (aside from the bad boy biker vibe he always gave off) and fall even more deep in love with him.

I will definitely be holding out for what appears to be the last in the series, Now Leaving Sugartown, and can’t wait by the little blurb that we receive at the end of GFS!!

One thing’s for certain: nothing’s out of the question in this crazy town! What will the future bring for our multifaceted “Sugary” cast of Sugartownians?

I had no idea that Elijah and Ana were going to get a sequel to their story and let me just say I am so glad they did! There was a certain incident that took place *cough cough* Natalie *cough cough* in the first book that really rubbed me the wrong way. Normally that's a deal breaker for me, however, certain events that took place in that book and how Elijah went about raining hell actually won me over. That and how long it took for her to finally give in (I respected her for making him wait so long) to him made it easy to get over.

Anyways, after the abrupt way the first book ended I liked the fact that we were getting a continuation of their story. I am also very happy that the issue that I think a lot of people had a problem with in the first book did make it into this book. It was something I personally wouldn't have been able to get over and it felt more real to see Ana bring it up again in this book. Once again, Elijah does something for Ana in this story (sorry I don't want to give anything away) that officially completely won me over. There is no doubt in my mind that he would do anything for her.

Note to the author : PLEASE give us longer epilogues! I would have loved to have something a bit longer! Aside from that I loved the story and the ending was action packed and fantastic!

☆☆☆☆☆ 5 I love you Elijah Cade Stars ☆☆☆☆☆

I just want to shout out to the mountaintops that my favorite tattooed Aussie bad boy biker is BACK in Greetings From Sugartown! Yes, you heard me Elijah Cade is BACK and HOTTER than ever!!!!! Carmen Jenner turned up the heat in the kitchen when she gave us sugar and spice with a BIG dash of dirty, sexy, raw, fun, humor, drama, and angst in this book. Watch out Ana...Elijah does not want a slice of the pie, he wants the whole thing. And so begins Elijah’s quest in hopes of walking down the aisle with Ana.

greetingsfromsugartown

Three years has passed, Ana and Elijah have been through hell and back with their relationship. Stronger and more in love than ever, time will only reveal how strong their love is when issues of trust begins to emerge. Can Ana ever trust Elijah after that one mistake he made in the past? Or will she continue to hold that against him hence hindering them from moving on to their HEA? How far will Ana and Elijah go to protect their love?

Greetings from Sugartown can be summed up in one word: PERFECTION! It had everything from sweetness, romance, steam, friendship, family, revenge, and humor. Carmen Jenner is one bad ass author who keeps her readers on their edge of their seats. And I absolutely LOVE that about her. She’s constantly taking her readers on an emotional rollercoaster full of twist and turns.

GREETINGFRsUGARTOWN

Dear Carmen,
Thank you for bringing back my favorite and hottest couple of Sugartown. Sigh...I’m already missing them after devouring the book. Hands down you did a remarkable job in this book. It had everything that I expected you would give your readers. You had drama, sexiness, humor and of course angst! You took me on one hell of a emotional rollercoaster with Greetings From Sugartown and I loved every minute of it!!

P.S.
That Epilogue...HOLY FUCK it was AMAZING!! LOVED IT!! As big fan of your books, I can’t wait for Now Leaving Sugartown.

Meesh

Let me preface this by saying I beta read Greetings From Sugartown, I had the absolute pleasure of reading, of experiencing this story from the ground up. I adored these characters that Carmen Jenner created, this world she imagined into being, I had such high expectations, because I loved the first two books in this series, but what I never imagined was how much more I was capable of feeling, how much more I could adore Ana and Elijah. Reading is such a personal past time to me, when an author writes well, I'm invested in not only the story, the hero and heroine, the supporting characters. I imagine myself in the story, I feel connected, in the heroine I see personality traits I admire, weaknesses I share.

So let's cut to the chase shall we... you've read Welcome To Sugartown and Enjoy Your Stay (if you haven't I suggest you stop reading this review as there will be spoilers for the first two books in the series)Ana and Elijah are back, Greetings is your glimpse into their lives now, it's their time to shine, and by god is Ana stunning, she is the light in the darkness that has been Elijah's world. She's seen and experienced more than anyone should...yeah Jenner went there, RAPE that ugly four letter word that I despise so much. When I lived those scenes in Welcome To Sugartown, I hated Carmen, because I felt Ana's pain so acutely, my body ached, my heart was shattered. Ana has moved on, or atleast she's moved on as much as anyone ever can, she's stronger, tougher, more resilient, but with all the healing she's done, she's still herself, a little neurotic, insecure, still questions if she's enough... these "flaws" are what I find so endearing about her, it's why I connect so deeply with her, why I'm so invested in this story. Ana has grown, she's evolved, but she's still the same woman that she was, insecurities and self doubt never truly go away, I know this because I've lived it, the sometimes crippling thoughts that live in the recesses of your mind. Sometimes like Ana, you just need someone to tell you, repeatedly even, that you are enough, you are so much more than enough, you are the light in the darkness.

In moments of Ana's self doubt, her rambling, her whininess, I sat there applauding Jenner for staying true to her characters. Elijah Cade, the reformed bad boy biker, who rode into town and stole Ana's heart. He's spent the last few years trying to be the kind of man Ana deserves, battling his own insecurities and self doubt. Two broken people trying, sometimes desperately to be enough for the other, trying to heal the hurts of the past and forge a foundation for a future.

What I adored so much in Greetings From Sugartown, was the dichotomy of Elijah and Ana personalities, the idea of light and darkness, the idea of finding the person that makes your lows bearable and the highs even sweeter, finding the one that loves you for your flaws not in spite of them, the one who gives you the strength to fight the demons that threaten to drown you. Carmen Jenner left me speechless, wanting and waiting desperately for my next trip to Sugartown.

Carmen Jenner does it again.

By "it", I mean throw a world of shit at Elijah and Ana with a safety net that is only about as strong as Fairy Floss (that's cotton candy to us U.S.ers).

Elijah shows a much more vulnerable and human side in Sugartown 2.5. He's almost fragile at times, which only made me love him more. Asking the woman of your dreams to be your wife has to be terrifying all on its own. But he has so much more to contend with.

An ex-fling showing back up and playing on Ana's insecurities.
An ex-best friend who could bring a violent history with him.
And in true Jenner style, some just plain crazy life hijinx.

Elijah handles the biggest issues head on. Some with a resolve only a man truly in love could. As I said, I fell more in love with Elijah in this book. He's definitely cemented himself in my personal book boyfriend walk of fame.

What you can expect from 2.5 - laughs, tears, drama, fights, hot fucking sex, intrigue, more hot fucking sex and some serious soul searching inner monologues. As well as an epilogue that will show you just how far these two kids have come and that sometimes it's the horrible things in life that let you appreciate the good things that much more.

That's how it's done! AMAZING!!

Elijah & Ana are back, and they are even better than I remembered.
Their story was endearing, funny, distressing, at times, but mostly HOT!

Reading Greetings from Sugartown made me happy, and Elijah has carved a special place in the heart.

I've finally finished up this trilogy! It wasn't until I'd gotten towards the end when the book itself heated up where it gotten interesting. It was during those last pages where there was a hint of Hells Angles making an appearance. I felt if the author hadn't given us the happy ending it would have explained Kicks story. His demons coming back to haunt him. Betraying his best friend and bud shouldn't have come easy, and if the love of Ethan's aka Elijah's life remained dead then that would have been an awesome story of revenge. Instead we get the sappy hearts and flowers bullshit ending and a whole shit load of unanswered questions.

5 SCORCHING SUGARTOWN STARS
Ana and Elijah are back and they are back with a BANG.

This is a glimpse into their lives now. The shining light that Ana is to Elijah’s darkness. And what a beautiful bright light she is.

They have both grown, matured, but the past is still there haunting them both. More so for Ana as her insecurities and self-doubt never really go away.

Elijah is trying to be the man good enough for Ana and is fighting his own uncertainties. He wants a life with Ana. A good life and he’s trying to make her see that she really is his light. She makes him better.

They have a past, one that is not all roses and chocolate. They want a future together, and they want to be enough for one another.

Will they have their Happily Ever After?

Is the past too much to handle and not easily forgotten?

I loved that Elijah loves Ana so unconditionally. He only has eyes for her. The fact that Ana is his light and that Ana loves Elijah’s dark is so intense, that they really are made for each other. They make each other better, they balance out the bad.

Elijah Cade
“You’re all I see, Anna
You’re all I want to see”

They really bring out the best in each other. They love each other so fiercely with all their flaws – good and bad. Having this connection with the one person you love is so powerful that it really doesn’t get any better.

I love the fact that Miss Carmen Jenner’s writing style allows you to be right there and feel everything each character is going through. They are so real and present, you really do feel part of the story.

I thought it wasn’t possible to love them any more than I do, but I was wrong. Carmen Jenner brought Sugartown back with a fiery intensity which had my emotions on overload. She stayed true to her characters and brought home that to love unconditionally is to love selflessly.

Elijah & Ana
“I love you. And I’m gonna keep loving you, no matter what. A handful or arguments isn’t going to change that, Ana.
But don’t ever doubt me again, because I won’t hesitate to put you over my knee and spank you.”
She laughs, despite her tears. “I love you too. Can you forgive me for being a paranoid, insecure bitch these last few weeks.?”

The plot, the storyline, the twists and turns, the drama, the emotions, the hot steamy sex and all the best parts of the Sugartown gang – Holly and Jack are a delight, and I loved Kristine. Yes Kristine Barakat, I knew it was you. I can’t believe you made it to Sugartown. I want to come and visit.

And Oh God the ending…..Miss Jenner, you had me gulping in breaths like I was dying….. Until I read the Epilogue – thank God for the Epilogue.

Miss Sugarmumma, I’ve said this before, I need to find a way into Sugartown – even if it is to just fangirl over Elijah Cade…. And you of course.

Carmen Jenner you always ROCK MY SOCKS OFF

Love your work Miss Sugarmumma

Elijah and Ana have had a few years under their belt, things haven’t been easy, but they love each other and marriage is the logical next step. Well, it would be if the proposal could ever go as planned. But let’s face it... these two don’t know how to do easy. Getting to their HEA is going to be one helluva ride though.

Screenshot_2

Carmen Jenner is responsible for me having to do extra laundry... the number of times I spit my drink out while reading this was ridiculous. But it wasn’t all laughs. Nope. You get gutted once or twice and then the moment happens when you are forced to go online and search the costs of plane tickets to Australia because messaging just isn’t enough. My heart was stuck in this in between place where shattered pieces were left clinging to hope. Awkward moments of eye contact with the husband were made and he looked at me wondering where the sane woman he married had gone.... waving the Kindle in his direction, as if it would explain it all.

Screenshot_3

I love this series. I love the humor, the writing, the switch between crazy to serious in a flash. It’s life. You have that moment where you are carefree then something happens that causes your world to stop. It doesn’t mean you forget to laugh or let go of those moments – but that you cherish them a little bit more because when things get hard and serious, you need those times.

Elijah & Ana’s love story is among my favorites and although Jackson was my guy – this made me ride the fence so hard I got splinters in awkward places. I can’t wait for the fourth book in this series to see where these characters have all ended up.

OMG, I completely forgot this book, even though it says it's my second read, I didn't remember a thing about it while reading it again. Ah, dear God, was it good!
If you read the series, you know who Elijah and Ana are and you should read their story first, it's the first book in the series.
As soon as I saw there was a follow up about them, I had to get it. They are one of my fav couples ever. I loved everything about this story, that ending was gut-wrenching! I was on the edge of my seat and I was chewing my nails out with that much suspense, and that epilogue? God, I almost died when I started reading it.

Anyway, this was unbelievable. It was awesome!

I'm super curious about Sammy's book and I just saw that Kick got a book two, in a new series and I can't wait to read that. I liked him, even with everything, he was just trying to shut his demons behind.

More Elijah Cade?? YES, PLEASE!!!

I love this guy so much, so was super happy to see that him and Ana had another story. They’ve been together a couple of years by this point and even though their relationship is still going strong, there are still a few issues stopping them from fully trusting each other.

The drama kicks up a notch and there are some moments where things take a pretty dark turn, but these are balanced out with the hilarious dialogue and more light-hearted moments. One department Elijah and Ana aren’t experiencing any problems in is the bedroom..or the kitchen...or her pie shop LOL - you get the idea!!

Carmen Jenners writing is brilliant and I’ve fallen so hard for these characters from Sugartown; I’ll be so sad when it’s all over.

When I heard I was getting more from Elijah and Ana from the Sugartown series, I squealed… yes I really did! Perma-smile. I love these characters and feel like I know them. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, I wanna move to Sugartown!!! There must be something in the water there, because every character is super hot, sexy, and Elijah and Ana are my favorites!

Poor Elijah and Ana. These two have had their share of rocky times. We got to experience them fall in love in Greetings From Sugartown, one of my all time favorite reads, and all they had to go through to make their love last. With the crappy hand they had been dealt in the past—they are ready to move on and get their happily every after. Elijah questions if he’s worthy of Ana—good enough, strong enough—or does she deserve better? He’s laying all his cards on the table, willing to go to all heights to prove how perfect they are together.

The past collides with the present, spiraling out of control and wreaking havoc in their lives. These obstacles have the two of them questioning whether a HEA is in their future.

Elijah, hands down, is one of the hottest characters out there. I fell in love with him all over again. With his fierce need to protect Ana, his ability to bring her to her knees, and the panty-melting words that come out of his mouth—HOLY CRAP, I literally combusted.

“Later,” he whispers, “I’m going fuck you so hard you’ll be walking funny for a week.”

I bite my lip. “Is that a threat, Mister?”

“No. It’s a fucking promise. That sweet, hot pussy of yours is going to need a fucking vacation after I’m done with it.”

Oh. My. God. I need my very own Elijah. He loves Ana so fiercely, so completely, it makes me swoon!!

In perfect Carmen form, she will have you clutching your stomach from all the laughs, feeling all hot and bothered with all the hot as hell sex, and glued to your kindle from the first word. We hear more from Jax and Holly as well as their daughter, Bob—who is freakin hilarious, and Sammy, who had me in stiches. All combined to create the typical shenanigans you’ve come to expect from our favorite place called Sugartown.

This series is a must-read. Carmen Jenner is such a badass writer. She blends together the perfect mix of steaminess, laugh-out-loud moments, off the charts angst, and sexiness creating everything I crave in a book. So the fact that this novella rocked my world was no surprise to me. In fact, it didn’t even feel like a novella—it packed a whole lot of punch making me feel like I read a full novel. I cannot wait for the next book in the series, Now Leaving Sugartown. Standing ovation, Carmen. LOVED IT!!!

HOLY SUGARBALLS! Elijah & Ana are back……and hotter than EVER! Whew, I need a cold shower after this spicy novella. This little book packed a punch! Steamy sex, expensive ring, crazy villain, rouge friends and holy fuck, what just happened, holding my breath moments.

I really and truly fell in love with Elijah in this book. He was EVERYTHING! Soft and sweet when he needed to be, kinky as fuck when called for, and hard as nails when bad things came to town. He was just……..the best boyfriend ever! I don’t think there was one thing that upset me about Elijah. He was totally there for Ana.
Ana on the other hand……well, there were a few times I wanted to strangle her! UGH! I love her, don’t get me wrong, but I must say I yelled at her a few times (in my head). I get that a bunch of shit went down in Welcome to Sugartown that really changed her, but she needs to get over it already! Otherwise, there will be no happy ending for her and Elijah……and they TOTALLY deserve a happy ending.
Old friends, ex-lover’s, and evil doers are shaking things up in Greetings from Sugartown. There are definitely no dull moments in this story. From beginning to end Carmen Jenner has you laughing, cringing, smiling, yelling and praying. I LOVED IT and I am now even MORE excited for Now Leaving Sugartown! There is a little sneak peak at the end of Greetings.

PHEW!!! That was a roller coast ride of emotions, trust issues, shoot outs, backstabbing, pie eating, the past coming back to bit Elijah in is perfect ass and WTF is going one moments.

Life in Sugartown isn't always apple pie and french fries.

Carmen sure can deliver a book that will make you want to yell and scream, then swoon and sigh and then you are back to wanting to throw your kindle across the room.

Deep breath, Chelcie. Deep Breath. I know Ana is insecure and she has trust issues. BUT ELIJAH is perfection in skin and he is amazing in this book. BUT FUCK, the back and forth, up and down had my head spinning. I just wanted them to ball smoochie face and kinky sex and can't keep their hands off each other. BUT THIS IS NOT the kind of books CARMEN JENNER writes. She loves to keep us guessing.

There were times I started to pull my hair out and YELL at the top of my lungs, FUCKING ANA, ARRGGHHHH. CHEESE and RICE. Someone smack this girl please. But then I was like OMG POOR ANA. Why, Carmen, Why would you do that to us. There were 2 moments that I honestly thought my heart was gonna stop. I had to step away, breath, scream FUCK YOU, CARMEN JENNER, and then dive back in.

Which, I was a case of de ja vu, because that is exactly what I did while reading Welcome to Sugartown.

Best part about the book, THE EPILOGUE. FUCK. That shit is amazing.

Things i liked, that te whole Scott and Nicole thing had a resolution, though i cant say im to hapy how things gt reselved with Nicole. I loved te reletionship between Ana and Elijah, friendship in this book and kids ofcourse, though Sammy seemed annoying, thank Go her Grew mature in Now Leaving Sugartown, i liked the mysterius charecter of Kick and now after finishing his own book, i like getting the full picture, but i did want to smack him around the head for nearly causing Ana's death and i found the part where he apears at the end to give there daughter a doll rather anclematick and cheesy to be honest, Im also annoyed at a lot lose ends i feel stil apear i wanted moor stuff explained and having a resolution

I was lucky enough to receive this awesome book early. Yay! Me! Well I'm going to start by saying, although we want Elijah and Ana together forever, sometimes issue get in the way. Can they get through more past sh*t that won't stay in the PAST. Elijah loves Ana with his whole heart but Ana maybe not be as sure anymore. In this book we will see if LOVE can truly overcome everything. There's anger, betrayal, laughs, ass-wiping and of course SEX! Carmen you did an awesome job!

I didn't think it was possible to love Ana and Elijah any more than I did already...
This book freaking rocked!

'I'm gonna marry that girl, if it's the last thing I ever get to do.'

Sooo, this book brings us back to the wonderful Sugartown and back to Ana and Elijah.
This story really shows us how far they have come in the last few years, but it also shows us what can happen when the past comes to bite you both on the arse. It's real life. It shows that no matter how happy they may have been, they're only human. We all have our downfalls and insecurities... it's how we learn to deal with them that counts.

Ana and Elijah are always going to be one of my favourite couples. They're just so incredible together, they have so much fun together and with their friends. And the chemistry will always be off the charts with these two.

'He shakes his head in warning. I revel in his anger. I welcome it, knowing that despite whatever comes next I'm going to be relishing the ferocity he brings to our bed tonight.'

And omg, I lost count of how many times I laughed. This group of friends makes me die with laughter...

"YOUR JUNK JUST TOUCHED ME!" I scream, and then squirm as my whole body shudders with revulsion. "Why? Why were your eyes closed, arsehole?"
"I didn't wanna see your bits."
He shouts back.
"Then run the other God damned way, you dumb fuck!"

*******

"Do you think we were too loud?" That questions goes unanswered, because the heavy double kitchen doors swing open and our entire family stands there, looking in at us. "Jesus Christ. Every fucking time." Bob throws up his hand and stalks away.'

There is sooooo much more to this book than I have said, but I don't want to give anything away to those who are waiting to read it... But it's safe to say that I am going to miss this series so much and all the characters will always hold a special place in my heart.

More Reviews Here: Readers Live A Thousand Lives

Carmen Jenner has done it again! Greetings From Sugartown delivers another great addition to the Sugartown series. Ana and Elijah are back and they are sexier and better than ever! Happily ever after does not come easy for these two and this book really delivers some hard times for these two. This book put my heart through the ringer! All I wanted was for these two to work it all out. In the end though Greetings From Sugartown delivered everything I wanted and gave us the conclusion Ana and Elijah deserved.

Elijah and I got off to a rocky start, but he has really won me over. He is such a hard ass on the outside but he is really a big old romantic softie underneath it all. He really made my heart melt in this one. He doesn’t always say the right thing or act the way I would really like, but at the end of it all I do love him and he has wormed his way into my heart. Then there is Ana who I simply love. That girl is made of steel and I just love how strong she is! I don’t think there is anything that can stop her from getting what she wants.

The story will really keep you on the edge of your seat dying to see where it is going next. Honestly, this one will probably surprise you and it sure surprised me (in the best way of course). This was nothing like I was expecting but still everything I wanted, if that makes any sense. Not only do we see Ana and Elijah work through their ups and downs, but there is a whole different and more suspenseful side to the story. The combinations of these two elements just made it incredibly enjoyable. And of course there are some seriously delicious scenes throughout the book.

Greetings From Sugartown is a great read and I am so glad we got more Ana and Elijah! Carmen’s writing just gets better and better with each book and her stories never disappoint. Fans of the series are sure to enjoy this one.

★★★★★ BREATHTAKING STARS

Carmen Jenner you have done it again!!!
Greetings From Sugartown dives right into Ana & Elijah's relationship and the years that have past. I have to say while I always loved Elijah, I fell in love with a lot more. I got to see another of him but also loved how even though I felt Carmen brought out a softer side to him, he still had that bad boy biker appeal. You also see Ana still struggling with her demons and how it affects her relationship with Elijah.

I ABSOLUTELY loved Greetings from Sugartown. There are definitely no dull moments in this story and a whole lot of Ana & Elijah loving and of course it wouldn't be the same without any "interesting Elijah & Ana moments" from them.
Overall I LOVED LOVED LOVED this installment of the series and can't wait for more from the Always Lovely Miss Carmen Jenner. What can I say you Rocked My World with your awesome sense of storytelling.

I was lucky enough to receive an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
