This book was destroyed by over narration. How can we enjoy the story if you don't let it unfold and be experienced without constant interjection about the way someone smiled in 20 different thesaurus words, just tell the story... Don't take away the reader's imagination... 2.5 stars for me.

Dallas Novak, Wesley Wes Novak, & Emma Novak (sister, Emmaline) shared interest in the Horse ranch in Novak Springs WA. Mrs. Henly (housemaid) came 4 days a week.
Emma back from college wanted to open a Cowgirl Yoga there also.

Cowgirl Fever by Dawn Brower is a contemporary romance set on a ranch. Amazingly, this author combines a western with yoga! The author does a great job creating the setting and giving us the background for the characters. Dallas Novak ends up running the Novak Springs ranch with his siblings after his parents died. He’s not interested in women after his fiancée left him to deal with his parents’ death alone. The yoga comes in when his younger sister wants to start a Cowgirl Yoga program.

I really like this author; I think she has a lot of potential. She really has a way with words and does a wonderful job painting a picture. There is an ease to her writing which makes it very enjoyable to read her stories. I enjoyed the book also. There was a bit of humor in the book which I love. I liked the main characters but I would love to read more about their mental connection and not just the physical connection. Love is more than just the physical connection so I look forward to reading ...more

Dallas and Ginny are fun characters that spend a great deal of time verbally jousting and dancing around each other’s wants and needs. This is a fun sassy read that will have you laughing out loud at some of the antics and mishaps they each have to deal with. Well written, great characters and a fantastic job of world building. I feel like the ranch is a real place that I can go to visit. While this book is a stand alone story as is each story in the series, they do build on top of each other so ...more

This is amusing, romantic and sweet. Dallas is bold, cocky and stubborn. He runs the family ranch along with his brother Wes and sister Emma. Ginnifer is adventurous, stubborn and distrustful. When Emma decides that she wants to start a yoga workshop on the ranch, she hires Melody and arranges for Ginnifer to write an article for the magazine she works for. Dallas wants Ginnifer the second he lays eyes on her, she's interested, until he opens his cocky mouth, and completely turns her off. He ...more

Cowgirl Yoga, what a concept.

I loved how this book include a little each about all three Novak siblings and their past loves. The good and the bad.

This first novel focused on the oldest, Dallas, and his absolute determination AGAINST allowing a women to EVER again capture his heart. His brother Wes said it best "“Someday you’ll find a woman that adores you, hell, they may even like you too. . . . I can’t wait for the right woman to come along and knock you for a loop,” . . . She’s out there and

This is the first in the Novak Spring series and I really enjoyed this romance read / listen. Good story line, great characters and I loved the chemistry. This book focus' on Dallas who was once burned by love and is no rush to have a repeat on love going up in smoke. What he didn't expect was for love to find him regardless and both his hopeful future and his dismal past loves will collide. I am hopeful that the future books in this series will be about the siblings (but I guess we'll just have ...more

This is an engaging story by Dawn Brower that will keep you focussed on the storyline, which is great, as you just HAVE TO KNOW if the hero, Dallas, and the heroine, Ginny, get their HEA. He';s now looking after the family ranch on the west coast and he needs publicity so it ends up with Ginny from the east coast, who is a journalist, comes to interview him. But they both get more than they expected as the passion between them increases. They are such wonderful characters that are realistic and ...more

This was a fantastic heartwarming story of a young man burned by love and running a dude ranch with his sister and brother, and a young woman hired to write an article for the dude ranch. Ginnifer and Dallas have an instant connection and things quickly become more until someone from Dallas's past returns to wreak havoc. Cowgirl Fever was full of sass, humorous wit, frustration, heartache, passion, and love. This is a fast paced must read romantic comedy with some drama mixed in and wonderful ...more

This story is in very few words just delightful to read!!! I at least enjoyed it very much. There is quite a good story line, the grammar was absolutely good as well as no typos that I could see - those always bother me.... - but this one doesnt seem to have any, so good to read a story that has been well edited or written by an author who knows her language! I was given this book to read in exchange for a review. This is my first book by Dawn Brower that I’m reading and I must say that I am already a fan. It helps that I love cowboy themed books though - But this book was very well-written and kept my attention. All of the character’s personalities are realistic and believable with enough drama to keep it entertaining. I loved Dallas and ‘Gin’ as his perfect bit of spunkiness he needed his in his life. I’m looking forward to the next book to see ...more

Dallas and his brother Wes will try anything to make their sister happy again after a bad break-up. So when she comes up with a plan to make a female version of a Dude ranch - Cowgirl Yoga - they encourages her, even if it means having to mingle with the guests.
What he did not expect was Ginnifer, a journalist who comes to the ranch for two weeks to write an article about the program.

A really good cowboy romance.

Dallas is totally focused on making the family ranch staying in the black. Then his little sister comes up with the idea to run a "Cowboy yoga" retreat for women during their off times. She's got it all planned out, including having a journalist, Ginnifer, coming out for the first set of classes. Turns out, Ginnifer might be able to help heal the whole family with a little help from her best friend, Tori.

This is such a Sweet and Heartwarming Story!

The writing draws you in and keeps you involved throughout the whole story, I found myself in love with not only the characters but also the world that was created.

The descriptions of the characters and their feelings are so involved, you can truly picture it in your mind. Their attitudes toward the events that are happening makes the story even richer.
