Entwined #2
Our Lives Entwined
After the disastrous reunion between twin sisters Mia and Natalie, Natalie returned to Sydney, leaving Mia, Cayd, Eric, Louise and Josh to get on with their lives.
Over the next year, they all try to move on. Louise and Josh become engaged, and Mia and Cayd now live together. But Eric is still lost, he fell hard for Natalie, even though he didn’t really know her – and can’t stop thinking about her.
Natalie wants a second chance. She’s been trying to find her birth mother in the hopes that her twin will want to meet her too. And if she can get Mia to forgive her, then maybe Eric can forgive her too… But when the past is uncovered, huge secrets are revealed that will once again threaten everyone’s happiness.
Mia just wants Natalie to leave her alone. Every time she enters her life, everything falls apart. First she ruined her relationship with Eric, and now she’s uncovering things about Cayd that Mia’s not sure she can get past.
And then there’s their mother… without realising it, their lives are already entwined – far more than any of them will ever be comfortable with.

Book one in this series was simply to die for! The twists and turns were unexpected and fun but didn't take away from the romance at all. Our Lives Entwined was interesting and had a TON of potential to be awesome...however, for me it just didn't reach the heights I had hoped it would.
After the crazy discoveries from Our Hearts Entwined, there is a lot of healing and dealing that needs to be done. I really love that these books don't focus in on one couple. Instead we get to read from everyone's POV and get a glimpse at their lives and relationships.
Mia and Cayd are trying to live out their happily ever after...but things are not always that simple.
Eric and Natalie are both trying to move on...but failing miserably.
Josh and Louise...well they are awesome! (Possibly my favorite characters in the book lol very little whining or self-absorbed behavior from these two!)
With all of these couples there is a certain level of chemistry and sexual tension. Lilliana Anderson's writing style makes it easy to feel like a part of the story and this book is no different. There is a lot of drama between...well everyone and some of it just started to get to me. I kept thinking "Umm...well that was childish....what about your love...ever think of forgiving someone? Past is past, people...especially when they didn't even KNOW you when it happened!"
Okay...so from my mini rant there you may have a feeling why this book didn't get the 4 or 5 star rating. While the story line has a decent amount of suspense and romance...the characters just got plain out whiny and self-absorbed! I know that Natalie's character is supposed to be that way...I get that...and I dealt with it! I couldn't fully understand how or why Eric wanted to deal with that...but hey his choice! However, somewhere along the way Mia joined in on the crazy-train and things went down hill from there for me. I found myself really disliking the characters! (Don't get me wrong, the book is written beautifully and I couldn't put it down, I really wanted to know where things would go...but I literally cringed every time Mia or Natalie spoke...all they cared about were themselves and it just got to be too much!)
Cayd puts up with a ton of crap in this book...Mia goes from being a mature woman to someone who runs at the drop of a hat and doesn't give anyone the chance to explain. I know that a lot has happened to her and it is a lot to deal with...but none of it was cause for her to treat her friends the way that she did. I just can't get over the personality change from book 1 to book 2! I still adore Cayd though...even if he did live a "playboy" life for a bit, that doesn't make him a bad guy now.
As I mentioned before, Our Lives Entwined pulls out some awesome twists and turns on the mystery/suspense front. I remember when things came to a head over who the twins mother was...I was lying in bed reading and my first thought was "There is NO WAY IN HELL...nope...nu uh...fate couldn't be so cruel!" But yep...it made for a good read!
I know that this review may seem like I'm saying the book isn't good or worth reading...PLEASE UNDERSTAND THAT THAT IS NOT WHAT I AM GETTING AT! I am simply trying to explain why I didn't enjoy it as much as I did the first one.
Our Lives Entwined is totally worth reading if for no other reason than to get some closure and find out where each relationship leads! The story is still unique and fun to read (if you aren't bothered by some childish behaviors) and the sexual tension and chemistry is intense. If you enjoyed Our Hearts Entwined then I HIGHLY RECOMMEND giving Our Lives Entwined a chance :)

Wow this is an awesome story Our Lives Entwined by Lilliana Anderson. After Mia's discovery that she has a twin named Natalie she has met up with yet another demon of her past and has to deal with Cayd's past that just about puts her over the edge.
After Natalie ruins Mia's relationship with Eric, Natalie moves back to Sydney and Eric is lost trying to fill the void he had with Natalie. Jumping from woman to woman just to fulfill his void. He just cant seem to get past Natalie.
Josh and Louise get engaged and plan for their wedding. Mia moves in with Cayd and all is happy...Until Natalie puts in a bad call that upsets all of their plans.
Natalie wants a relationship with Mia but Mia is still very hesitant about it. After what Natalie pulled destroying Mias life as it was she just is having issues about getting to know Natalie better.
But Natalie opens up some old wounds and want to find their mother and after that occurs Mias world is turned upside down. Her relationship with Cayd is on the line and after Natalie destroyed Mia's relationship with Eric and now things are coming up about Cayds past and Mia just don't know what to do but to run again.
She wants Natalie to leave her alone and now with Natalie finding their biological mother. Mia finds out something that she just cant get past.
What has their mother done? Where is Mia's relationship with Cayd gonna end up? Will Mia ever get close to Natalie? How has this all have them Entwined together?
I gave this 5 stars for keeping me on the edge wanting to not put the book down to find out what happens next. The suspense and the outcome will SHOCK you!! I loved this series!! As always Lilliana keeps my interest going as in all her books!!

Loved it. It was Drama filled just like I like it. It had just about as much drama and craziness if not more than book 1. I was nervous at first wondering if any of the couples would ever get their HEA. The twins had learned to co-exist and be happy in their relationship. What started off as a very rocky sisterhood ended in contentment. I had to wait a very long time to get my hands on this book but it was well worth the wait.

I was gifted a copy of this in exchange for my honest review. I definitely flipped back and forth on this one. At times I loved it and others I had a hard time dealing with the obnoxiousness that was Natalie. I honestly think this is why I love Lilliana's books so much. She made me feel every emotion while reading this book, and just when I think I'm going to hate it I flip and love it. With Our Hearts Entwined there were a lot of emotions, crazy twists and sheer hatred at the end finding out what was being done to Mia. I think I kept a lot of that with me when I moved to book 2. Going from being team Mia and having unbridled hatred for Natalie is hard to shake. So I'll be honest, it took me a minute and I really hated being in her head at beginning. Ok.. So here's where the author's genius kicks in. Somewhere between attempting the most selfish act imaginable and being a delusional jealous snot I began to feel sorry for Natalie. WHAT??? How did that happen? I have no idea. So all in all I have to give it to my girl and give Our Lives Entwined a 3.5 Star review. So if you enjoy a read that makes you feel a little bi-polar then this one is your read and I promise by the epilogue you will have a special place in your heart for all of these characters.
A year has passed since Mia found out she had a twin sister who was not only drugging her but then taking over her life and getting cozy with her long time boyfriend, Eric. After the heartbreak of Eric being with her twin Mia found her perfect soul mate in Cayd. Tragedy pulls Mia, Cayd and Eric to Sidney to be there for a weak and mentally unstable Natalie. From here I really can't say much more without giving away major plot details. So........ I will encourage you to push through when you want to throw your Kindle because of Natalie and read on. Our Lives Entwined is truly drama filled emotional roller coaster. I really enjoyed and I think you will too.

In the follow up to Our Hearts Entwined a year has passed, Louise and Josh are engaged and on their way to their happily ever after, Mia and Cayd are happy, but Eric is adrift, the connection he had with Natalie was real, and with her returning to Sydney, he's lost.
Natalie is desperate for a second chance with both Eric and her sister Mia, secrets are uncovered, and loyalties are tested, and connections are doubted.
I adored Our Hearts Entwined, and getting another glimpse into their lives was just what I was craving. Lilliana has an ability to make me feel everything so deeply with her words, this story has so much complexity, there's so much to this world that she has created, and I was engrossed, I needed to believe that these characters could find their happily ever afters, despite the twists and turns that Anderson was bound to have instore. The perfect conclusion to this series.

I liked this book but was only one else let down with Mia's character as I was? Cayd's partner was 100% correct about Mia in this book. She is too immature and would run at a moments notice is there was a little bump in the road. I mean, ok....I get it...I think I would be grossed out if I found out family members of mine slept with the people I am with but nobody knew of each other back then. I just feel that Cayd was way WAY too good for Mia and I with the author would have written more about Mia growing up and coming into her own as an ADULT woman, instead of a child. I dunno.....just disappointing.

Mia's trouble is not finished, her life became a roller coaster of events and emotions and you will feel it all with her!!! After the initial shock and the massive betrayal of the first book, you will find this one in a calmer pace, but still highly entertaining! I still had mixed feelings for Eric and Nathalie but Mia and Cayd will make you forget all about them!!! Great ending for a great story i loved every minute of it!!!! Thumbs up!!!!!
