**Beta Read for the wonderful Kym Grosso**

I think Kym Grosso's writing and ability to tell incredible stories increases more and more with every book in this series. This book was, and I know I say it every time, my favourite of the series. I cannot say enough good things about it.

Dimitri and Gillian are just perfect together. And I really enjoyed their friendship with Dimitri's friend Jake. They all have fun and the chemistry between the three of them is soooo hot. I loved that the book started right away, we're with Dimitri and Gillian right from the very first page (after she rescued him from his beach attack), which is fab. There's no long drawn-out stuff, and you can feel their sexual pull right from the start....

'Captivated, he drew closer still.
"Cher, your eyes," he whispered.
"I know." Flustered, she broke eye contact and looked to the floor.
"No." Dimitri gently caressed her chin until her gaze once again met his. "Don't hide from me. Let me see your eyes."

The first chapter was great. It was explained very clearly that Dimitri had been attacked in the previous book, so it could definitely be read as a standalone, for those of you who are interested in doing so. Although I would obviously recommend reading the others first :)

Another fantastic thing about this book was it's unpredictability.
The only thing I kind of guessed was the Gillian would mate with Dimitri and her gift would help him. But god, there were so many amazing things happening. Gillian's amazing transformation (I mean come on, she's already a Tiger, which freaking rocks). Lacey... Ilspeth... Jake getting injured and the incredible scenes that came after...

Oh god, and Gillian's poor brother Jax losing someone that means the absolute world to him. *sobs*
But the best thing? Even though there was a freaking ton going on, it never became too much, or too complicated. It was jam-packed and I loved every damn minute.

As always, Kym writes the most intense and beautiful ménage scenes. It was sooooo hot. Really! It was very well done. Gillian and Jake already had a sweet connection, especially after that sexy shower scene. Seriously, this book could be read for that sexy scene alone. LOL. But there was something so amazing about this scene. The way they were both so desperate to make Jake better, they were so distraught at the thought of loosing him, that when they got him back they just needed to be together... I loved it!

I am so happy that Jax's book is next. It was so hard to see him hurting so bad :(
It was also good to see a little from his pov at the end there. So we know how he's feeling and it flows really nicely into the next book.

This book ends with a huge bang and I will be impatiently waiting for the next journey to begin.

Oh my!!! I think I need a cold shower!!! This is by far the best book in this series!!! Kym Grosso just keeps getting better.

This is the story of Dimitri (the Beta of the Acadian Wolves) & Gillian. When last we left Dimitri he was being attacked on the beach. And I, as well as many of Ms. Grosso’s other readers totally freaked out. We pick up with Dimitri waking up after Gillian rescued him from a pack of wolves. He’s tied to the bed & almost naked, with a barely clothed women lying next to him. At first he doesn’t understand what happened, why he’s there. But soon enough Gillian tells him what happened & that she had healed him, including his beast who has been getting weaker & weaker for some inexplicable reason. And while, under other circumstances, Dimitri might not have a problem with being tied up, it doesn’t suit him at that time. So, when Gillian won’t release him he takes matters into his own hands, so to speak.

Dimitri is very intrigued with Gillian & can tell she is a shifter, just not what kind. When she manages to get away after Jake shows up, he decides to go after her instead on straight home to New Orleans to try to find the cure for whatever has infected his wolf. And so the chase begins…

If you have read any of this series you will definitely want to read this one. As I mentioned before, this is the best one yet!!!! I can’t wait for the next one!!!

Another fantastic swoon-worthy story from Kym Grosso in her "Immortals of New Orleans" and it's the best yet!!!! DIMITRI just blew my mind and melted my heart.

Dimitri is the Beta of the Acadian Wolves... he is tough, fearless and strong willed and just who the Alpha needs by his side. And sexy.... did I say sexy!!??

In Leopold's book it ended where Dimitri was attacked on the beach. This story story takes right back up with Dimitri waking up finding himself almost naked and tied to a bed beside a breathtaking woman, our heroine, Gillian.

Although Dimitri thought he'd never want a permanent woman or a mate in his life, he discovers that not only does he want Gillian in his life, he needs her to save his life and his soul.

The chemistry between Dimitri and our heroine (Gillian) will have you sighing and crying.

This book is action packed and keeps you entertained from the first page to the last with suspense, danger, lust, intrigue and betrayal.

I highly recommend this book and this awesome series to everyone over the age of 18+

This series goes from strength to strength, just when you think it can't get any better, it does.

Leopold's story left us on a bit of a cliff hanger. Dimitri, who I might add, had already charmed his way under my skin, had gone on vacation, but was under attack. I never thought he would wake up in the bed of a beautiful strong women, let alone one that could shift into this incredible animal, yeah not telling !
We already know Dimitri well, he would make an excellent Alpha, but he is loyal to Logan and the Arcadian Wolves, they're his home. He's lived the charmed, carefree life of a batchelor, he could have a different lady every night of the week or maybe longer, he is as honest as the day is long. So in a way I was not surprised to realise when he awoke, he was in a women's bed, and this particular women had managed to heal him. What surprised me was the strength, and selflessness of Gillian, the need to protect and not draw him into her problems was there from the start. There was that instant attraction that neither of them seemed to recognise, but couldn't ignore, and the pull only got stronger. Gillian's a kick ass women in her own right, and made a perfect mate for Dimitri, what started out as caring, healing soon turned to lust and the need to protect. Their path was not easy, Gillian had an unwanted suitor, who was determined to have her as his mate at any cost. Dimitri had his own problems with his ex Witchy girlfriend, one who didn't give up easily. Dimitri and Gillian the perfect match, but it was a bumpy ride along the way, in more ways than one.
Another fabulous story line, that set my kindle on fire with it's hotness. Looking forward to Jax story next.

Favorite Quotes:

...."I know you think she's something special, but for all you know, she shifts into a skunk."

Like the shards of a broken mirror clattering unto stone, every presupposition she'd had about who she was and what she'd expected from love was destroyed.

NADBB was given the great pleasure of reading Dimitri by Kym Grosso. I have to be honest I was a virgin in reading the Immortals of New Orleans series. The fact that it was book 6 left me worried I would be lost. The fact that it was an immortal series set in New Orleans was an even BIGGER concern for two reasons.

I don't read a lot of paranormal. For me to get lost in the story as a paranormal requires. The book has to be special.

and finally and most importantly I am a HUGE HUGE lover of Kresley Cole's IAD series. So those are like impossible shoes to fill.

Synopsis:

We meet our hero and heroine in a place where it usually takes awhile for them to get. In bed! This time however, it's because Dimitri has been attacked and our heroine Gillian saved his life. (We loved this plot twist btw since it is usually the other way around)

Gillian Michel is a photographer with abilities and a secret she does her best to keep hid. That proves impossible when it is clear from the get go that her chemistry with Dimitri is strong and overpowering.

Dimitri LeBlanc is sex on a stick, hot beta of Acadian Wolves who survived an attack thanks to the lovely Gillian. He's instantly attracted to her and drawn to the beauty.

Their journey together and the twists and turns that brings them to the undeniable truth, that they are fated mates, is what drives this story and the journey is a good one.

Review:

This book was a surprise for me. I found I could read book 6 without having read the others. I found I had been indeed missing out. Further, I found that Kym Grosso made characters that stood out to me and were alive from the very beginning. Dimitri and Gillian drug me into the story kicking and screaming, but once I was there I wanted to stay.

The Good

The characters. I wasn't lying when I said that Kym Grosso had a way with making them. Each character was three dimensional. They were well thought out and had clear voices. It made the story flow enjoyably and made me want to know more.

The Bad

There's really not a lot to put here. I loved the story. If anything and this is a purely personal thing I would have liked to got to know our heroine more beforehand. I would have liked to been in her head before the attack and the rescue of Dimitri. The author allows us to see both characters throughout but there were just times when I wanted a longer glimpse inside of a scene with just one POV and get lost into that character rather than shift back and forth.

That's a personal thing however and doesn't really detract from the book and the story.

This book? I give a solid 4.0 to 4.5 Which sadly means I'm going to have to purchase the others and feed my reading addiction.

Dimitri by Kym Grosso is the 6th book in this series, and just like the other 5, it did not disappoint! At the end of book 5, Leopold's book, Dimitri, the Beta of the Acadian Wolves in New Orleans got attacked on the beach,in San Diego. This story is what happens when Dimitri comes around. He wakes to find himself tied to the bed and he has been healed by a beautiful woman named Gillian Michel, who just so happens to be the sister of Jax, the alpha of the wolves in New York. However this woman is very unique, as she is a tiger shifter, but yet her father was an alpha wolf. Gillian is on the run from an alpha wolf, and as attracted as she is to Dimitri she knows she needs to get far away to keep him safe. Dimitri follows her with his friend in tow, and they get there just in time, as she is being attacked by the wolves once again. Although Dimitri could have killed the alpha, he did not, as he is happy where he is and has no desire to take over the pack after he kills their alpha. Dimitri and Gillian, have an instant extreme attraction, and Dimitri feels he has found his true mate. However until he can find out what has happened to his wolf, which is in trouble and causing him to be able to shift, he does not want to mark her as his own.

Things go from bad to worse once Dimitri goes to New York to see Jax, and they decied what to do after Gillian again is almost taken by the crazy alpha's wolves. Things are not as they seem, and something is not right, and the witch from New Orleans is a big part of what is happening to Dimitri, but no one thinks this except for Gillian. She is a healer , one of her gifts and when she meets the witch she instantly feels her Dimitri is in danger.

This book has quite a few twists in the plot and keeps you guessing as to who is good and who is not, who is holding back on the truth and how it will affect the outcome. There is a lot of sexual angst and emotional angst as well throughout the book.

Will Gillian come clean with Dimitri as to why this alpha risks his pack to get Gillian back?
Will Dimitri and Gillian become mates?
Will who is responsible for trying to kill Dimitri's wolf be found out?
What role does the witch Ilsbeth play in this game?
How many key players will die in this book?

You will have to read it to find out! Not all is as it seems deep in the bayou, and you will see many characters from the past books show up, which is nice to see them all interacting. Kym Grosso's epilogue also leaves a big cliffhanger for the 7th book!

I really have enjoyed all these books written by Kym Grosso and as each book is written and published, they just get better and better. It is nice to see the tremendous growth and talent of this author and it has been my privilege to have read and reviewed all her books.Thank you for the opportunity Kym!

I gave this book 5***** stars, and look for ward to many more great reads from this author!

Dimitri’s Review Kym Grosso
Where to begin in book # 6 in the Immortals of New Orleans Series. HOT…HOT…HOT… Reviews are really hard for me. Finding the right words to express how I feel about a book and its characters is a challenge. First off… if I could more than 5 stars for this book I would have no problem doing so. I want to start out by saying I love this series its one of my very favorite but for some reason Dimitri holds a special place for me and Im pretty sure that this might be my favorite in the series. Guess time will tell. I have waited for this book since I first met Dimitri.
We start out with Gillian saving Dimitri’s life. Gillian has a secret she doesn’t want anyone knowing about and being Dimitri he is willing to put his own problems on hold to learn more about the mysterious Gillian. Dimitri is also hiding a secret that he doesn’t want his alpha or anyone else to find out about. So together Dimitri and Gillian set out to do whatever necessary to fix all and it never hurts to find your mate along the way. Gillian is being stalked by a crazy alpha wolf and it will take everyone to save her from him. Along the way there are many surprises and roadblocks. Some of my favorite characters show up as always to help save the day. I love it when they all show up together. There are some really shocking moments in this book and some really… really HOT SEX scenes sure to make your lady parts sit up and take notice and your panties hot. lol There is a lot of humor and then there were a couple of times I was like noooooo she didn’t and I was ready to ring Kyms neck…..hehe Shocking moments gotta love em. I found the chemistry to be right on with all the characters they just worked. I love the way Kym somehow manages in all her books to have that chemistry between characters that as a reader I actually feel like I can feel their emotions. I found myself hanging on every word and turning page after page as fast as I could read them I just had to know. Come meet Dimitri and Gillian I promise you will fall in love with them. Kym Grosso you have another winner with Dimitri. Awesome book Awesome series.

I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review.

Dimitri is Book six in the Immortals of New Orleans series by Kym Grosso, and it picks up exactly where the giant cliff hanger at the end of Leopold’s Wicked Embrace leaves readers. The Immortals of New Orleans series is phenomenal paranormal romance, and Dimitri is an excellent addition! The entire series is action packed. While each book can be read as a stand-alone novel, they are much more enjoyable as a series since the reader gets to know the characters more intimately.

Without giving too much away, Gillian is also a shifter, but not quite the same as Dimitri. She is strong and independent, and she and Dimitri are the most equal partners in Ms. Grosso’s entire series. They work together to fend off both of their protagonists (yes! there’s more than one in this novel). As has become the norm in this series, the female lead must come to terms with her true self, and in doing so, she falls for the alpha male featured in the novel as well as "comes out" to the paranormal world.

Kym Grosso’s attention to detail and to her craft always leads to a good read and a HEA.

Due to graphic content, this is a NC-17 read.

Dimitri, Immortals of New Orleans series, with every book that comes out I fall more in love with these characters.I've been excited about his book, Dimitri is sexy, confident, loyal and very much alpha male.

In Leopold's Wicked Embrace we were left with a cliff hanger not knowing what had happened to Dimitri LeBlanc, the beta for the Acadian Wolves. He was attacked and left for dead, but wakes up with a mysterious and beautiful woman who has saved his life. Gillian Michel, is a fierce character, I loved her. She and Dimitri have an immediate chemistry that set the pages on fire.

Gillian has a clouded past and can't share it with Dimitri, because he is a wolf she has stayed away from them for a reason. Dimitri has an evil attached to his wolf that he has to find a cure for before it's to late. With another Alpha after Gillian to be his mate, they return to New Orleans to find answers and Dimitri wants to know what Gillian is hiding from him. He soon discovers more than he bargained for.

This book is amazing, erotic & thrilling

This series is phenomenal and Dimitri is an excellent addition! Action packed until the very end. Secrets, lust and betrayal, who will survive? Will Dimitri find his mate and be able to keep her safe? Danger is looming and tragedy strikes, who will live and who will die? Can Dimitri and Gilly find some happiness and become mates? This series is full of so many excellent characters and I love that we get to see them through out the different books of the series, can't wait to see what comes next!!

Dimitri is Book 6 in the Immortals of New Orleans series by Kym Grosso. Dimitri, beta of the Acadian Wolves, is attacked on a beach. He wakes up in a seedy hotel room with Gillian who rescued him and healed him, including temporarily healing his wolf, which had been getting weaker and weaker due to some unknown dark force. Gilly is an up and coming photographer. She was tricked into thinking she was doing a high profile photo shoot and captured and tortured by a crazed Alpha. Dimitri knows there is something different about Gilly. He can't figure out what kind of shifter she is, how she healed him or how she rescued him from a wolf pack. Gilly has learned to keep her secrets to herself. Gilly refuses to tell Dimitri about herself or why a wolf pack would go to all the trouble of capturing her. This, of course, makes Dimitri more determined to get answers. Gilly feels guilty Dimitri got hurt when she knows they were after her, not him. There begins the merry chase of Gillian wanting to keep Dimitri safe because she knows the wolves will be after her, and Dimitri following because he wants to protect her. These two are attracted to each other right from the start, and their passion leaps off the pages, even as they try to deny it. It is scorching hot. Dimitri must get his wolf healed or lose his ability to shift. Gilly is caught between a rock and a hard place, thinking she will lose everything if she gives in to their passion. I loved the story of Dimitri and Gilly, and definitely had a book hangover when I finished it. This is an extremely engaging, well-written, easy to read novel. It's infused with humor, passion and suspense that will keep you guessing. I can't wait for the next installment in the Immortals of New Orleans.

I am a big fan of the Immortals of New Orleans, and "Dimitri" is no exception,I love each new book in the series as I read them, and love the characters as the story line unfolds for me as I read. I was gifted a copy of this book, and I loved it from start to finish.Dimitri is a wolf shifter, and he does have the southern charm. He is having a problem saving his wolf and on a trip to California, encounters a battle on the beach, where you meet Gilly and she saves him.Gilly is a rare shifter and you need to read the story to read more about that*grins*,Dimitri is smitten with Gilly, and sparks fly between them from the start, and he can't figure out why.Read and enjoy the story and see who else pops up in the story.I love stories that have wonderful story lines, great characters,mystery/adventure,plot twists are a must for me,some humor, and of course romance, this one has all of this in spades, open your mind and let your imagination take you into this story, and I'm sure you will enjoy it as much as I did. :-)

Oh, I love this world Kym Grosso has built.
Sexy alpha wolves, witches, vampires and magic.
Dimitri was no exception. He's one hot beta wolf with a problem.
He's losing his wolf, but the reason why might shock you.
In walks Gillian, or rather we start the book with them in bed, and Dimitri tied down.
What a start.
There are lots of surprises, and a great story with some mystery.

Yet another fabulous book in Kym Grosso's Immortals of New Orleans series! I don't want to give anything away in my review, so I'm not sure what to say. Dimitri may have been the most emotionally tormented of the books in the series, on both Dimitri and Gillian's part. And their chemistry lit up the pages and had me devouring their sex scenes.
"Aw fuck," he said, jutting his hips in tandem with her slow strokes. "What are you doin' to me?"
"No talking," she commanded, asserting her dominance.
In all his life he'd never been submissive, yet in the delicate balance between sleeping and waking, the desire to surrender to her demand reigned.

Dimitri was drool worthy in so many ways: he's tattooed, he's funny, he's caring, and he's alpha (although he is the Beta of the Acadian Wolf pack). Did I mention he has tattoos? *Sigh* Basically he is panty melting material. I loved his personality and his humor, which he maintained throughout the entire book despite all of the drama and angst. I found myself grinning and chuckling like a crazy person reading his POV and dialogue. And then directly after that, sighing dreamily over his sweet, caring ways, making it impossible for Gillian to resist him.
"As Dimitri leaned forward, Gillian took hi face into her hands, cupping his cheeks. His eyes fell to her lips and then caught her gaze again. Slowly, he leaned into her embrace until his mouth claimed hers. Gently his tongue slipped between her trembling lips."

Gillian was an awesome, powerful, secretive, and badass heroine. Her animal is so majestic, I was not expecting that. Some of her secrets are revealed pretty early on in the book, but not all of them are fully understood by Dimitri, which left me in a quagmire of wanting Gillian to explain herself, yet enjoying the angst created by her withholding the depth of her situation to Dimitri. Her humor was also really entertaining and enjoyable. She is perhaps my second favorite heroine of the series.
"For the love of the Goddess, stop thinking about sex. Her libido was in overdrive, making her feel as if she was a hot-air balloon about to take off into the wild blue yonder."

The drama surrounding Gillian and the evil Alpha of the West coast she's running from was ever-present; the whole time after she is on the run I was just waiting for the other shoe to drop. And the situation her secrets put Dimitri in resulted in hair pulling and the desire to skim just to see what would happen next, but fortunately I resisted.

There's more tragedy in this book than any of the others in the series; I had tears in my eyes multiple times, especially towards the end of the book. They do get their HEA, but the epilogue leaves you with a major cliffhanger. I'm not a fan of cliffhangers, but I have to admit it left me dying to read the next book in the series! Being an extremely inpatient person when it comes to waiting for books to come out, I'm struggling with either being very irritated about the cliffhanger, or appreciating how well done it was. The next book needs to come out right now!!

Kym Grosso’s Immortals of New Orleans paranormal series is the perfect blend of smut, suspense, and action. Each book offers readers strong, dominating alpha heroes and quick witted, passionate heroines. Each couple compliments each other, and the bonds formed build off of an electric connection that only further ignites as the story continues. Dimitri, book six, focuses on Dimitri LeBlanc, beta of the Acadian Wolves. When readers last saw him, he was being attacked by a pack of wolves that were out for blood, and because his wolf would not surface, he was left to die, all for being in the wrong place at the wrong time. Dimitri survives, thanks to Gillian Michel, the hybrid tiger who the pack was hunting, and Dimitri wants to return the favor when he realizes that Gillian’s in trouble. The attackers’ alpha, Chaz Baldwin, wants her gifts – ones that she’s never allowed anyone to know about, and he’ll stop at nothing to get what he wants, killing anyone who tries to get in his way. But Dimitri’s wolf is in trouble, and if he doesn’t figure out a way to dispel the parasite that is attacking his wolf, he may lose the one thing that he’s always counted on – his place and job in his pack. Both Dimitri and Gillian are not only fighting for their lives but also for the one thing that truly defines who they are – the beast within. Dimitri needs to save his, and Gillian needs to hold onto hers by remaining true to her species and staying away from the one thing that could cost her, her tiger – finding her mate. But the connection these two share from the onset isn’t something that can be denied, and no matter how much running and hiding Gillian does, their bond continues to grow, until Gillian can no longer deny that she’d willingly sacrifice her life, her tiger to protect the man who has stolen her heart, which may just be the only way she can save him and herself.

Dimitri is an intriguing character. He’s a true alpha with his commanding and controlling nature, but he feels at ease as Beta, submitting to his alpha when necessary and leading the charge to protect his pack. He’s never been one to turn down a good time, taking what females willingly give him, but everything with Gillian is different from the start and that both perplexes and intrigues him. Dimitri’s protective of Gilly almost immediately, and even though he knows he should take care of himself and his wolf that is suffering, he can’t bring himself to turn his back on her, showing him that Gillian may just be the woman who both calms him and revs him up, which is exactly the type of woman he needs.

Gillian has always been a loner. Because she’s a rare breed of tiger, she’s always known what could happen if she found her mate, so she’s lived her life carefully, not getting too close to people and staying as far away from wolves as possible. She refuses to be weak or defenseless and that is exactly what she feels will become of her if she loses her tiger. Gillian holds her secrets close, but she finds herself immensely attracted and drawn to Dimitri. She’s not submissive by nature, but he requires her submission, and even though she tries to fight it and never 100% submits, she does allow him to control her, at least in the bedroom, which works well for both of them.

Dimitri is a fantastic edition to the Immortals of New Orleans series. Dimitri and Gillian are complex characters who complement each other both in strength and courage. Dimitri needed a mate who could both tame and protect his beast, and Gilly is that woman. The plotline is fast paced and well thought out. There are a few twists in the story that add to its suspense and help to bring out Dimitri and Gillian’s need to protect what’s theirs. I do wish readers would have been able to see a bit clearer into Gilly’s past and why she was the way she was, but there’s enough presented to understand what’s at stake for her. Another aspect of the text that works well is the inclusion of the heroes and heroines from the previous books. They all play such a pivotal role in each other’s lives that it makes sense that they be included in helping the current couple. The new characters also add intrigue to the book and it will be interesting to see where Jax’s story goes after the torment he endures at the end of Dimitri.

This is definitely a story and series worth reading!

Waking up tied to a be you'd think Dimitri would remember how he got there, but being injured by a rogue pack kinda knocked him off track. How did the half naked beauty save him and why can't he get her off his mind even when she says she doesn't need help?

Gillian knows it was her fault he was attacked and now she'll do whatever it takes to protect him even if it means endangering herself. She's got secrets galore that she'll do anything to protect, but when the handsome beta comes to her rescue keeping those secrets might be more difficult than she ever imagined.

Dimitri is an Alpha male in disposition, he might be a Beta in the pack but that's because it's his choice. He sees what he wants and goes for it even if it is a mate, when he wasn't sure he even wanted one before meeting her.

Gillian is indipendant, as is her nature, she's all about doing things herself. When she finds herself in the company of wolves she resists being submissive on the outside when inside she's enjoying the new side of herself.

Although part of a series I read this as a standalone and while there were obviousily parts that talked about something from a previous book it worked very well on its own and I definitely enjoyed it and the storyline.

Best one yet! This is one smoking hot suspense overload! Kym Grosso left us with a huge cliff hanger at the end of Leopold and we all waited with baited breath to see what would happen to our sexy Dimitri. At first it doesnt seem so bad for him, seeing as he wakes up tied to a bed with a beautiful woman with him. Gillian is an amazing strong female lead who I instantly fell in love with. She took care of our big strong boy and put herself at risk to cure him. The chemistry between the two is off the charts!
Can the past come back to haunt her? Will Dimitri be able to claim his mate and find a cure?
I cannot say enough about how much I love this series! All of the characters are so unique and mesh so well. Kudos to Kym Grosso for yet another amazing accomplishment!

Kim Grosso delivers another incredible installment of the Immortals of New Orleans series. Dimitri LeBlanc, beta of the Acadian Wolves finds himself in a whole lot of trouble at the end of Leopold’s story. The action starts there. While this is a continuing series, each installment is very capable of standing on its own merits.
Ms. Grosso has a way of pulling you into the characters, making you care about them and wanting the best for them. Dimitri is no different: with his humor, loyalty and compassion, he’s the kind of guy every girl wants to have around.
Naturally, there are all kinds of problems along the way, as well as a lot of sizzle between the main characters. It is the kind of book you just can’t put down.

Oh I love this beta! From his sexy accent down to his toes he is one delish wolf! I don't know how Kym keeps topping herself but this book is absolutely amazing! The story kept me attached to my kindle (when I really should have been doing other things like packing LOL) The characters ones we already knew and new ones were well rounded and easy to love/hate... All in all I love the Immortals of New Orleans series and will keep reading them as fast as Kym can write them! If she ever decides to write anything else I will read that as well she has shown me that she is an awesome writer and I really love her style.

Dimitri is Book 6 in the Immortals of New Orleans series by Kym Grosso, and it picks up where the end of Leopold’s Wicked Embrace (Book 5) left off. The Immortals of New Orleans series is an awesome paranormal romance group of books, and Dimitri is the next wonderful book! This series is definitely action packed and sexy as hell. The characters are unique, and the reader can immediately relate to them. While each book can be read as a stand-alone, they are much more enjoyable being read in order. The reader can get the full effect of the myriad of characters introduced in each book of the series.

Gillian is one "unique" hybrid shifter, definitely not the same one as Dimitri, a Beta in his clan. She is strong and independent, and she peaks Dimitri's interest, both emotionally and physically. They work together to defeat their "enemies". Gillian must come to terms with who she really is, and in doing so, falls hard for the Beta male. Sparks do fly between them!!! The reader is "sucked in" and cannot put this book down...they are constantly rooting for the two lovers. You will enjoy the action and the HEA. I loved it, and cannot wait until the next installment of this fantastic series!!!

Sadly, DNF at 63% in.
I just cannot read this... I do not understand the writing and I cannot connect to anything in this story. Quite frankly, I find it all revolting, disturbing and slightly disgusting - all that sharing talk, all that man-whore talk, all that almost forced sexual submission talk, all that exhibitionism one moment, jealous possessiveness the other. It is confusing. I just cannot get into this story.
