The Exhibit by Michael Brown was a great quick read. It puts emotions front and center on display. It was a great collection of poetry by Michael Brown.

I'm not really very well versed in poetry - it's something I find quite impenetrable and I often find myself reading the poem half a dozen times before even its basic gist sinks in.

But when I found my friend Michael Brown had a book of short poems published I thought I'd give it another crack.

Michael Brown was born in Manchester in 1983. He completed Mercurial at Central Saint Martins, University of the Arts, London in 2016. Michael lives in Cambridge with his husband John, where he is currently working in a number of creative industries and is also a researcher at Cambridge University. This is Michael’s second poetry collection. He published The Exhibit in 2014.
