A young woman wakes up alone on a beach. She has no memory of why she is there or who she is. Travel along with her as she slowly puts the missing pieces together. This book will leave you on the edge of your seat as elements of science fiction, mystery, and romance are carefully woven together to create a unique story you will never forget.
After staying up late as a child reading books and winning writing contests as a teen, I decided to pursue my passion for crafting words as an adult.
I enjoy writing poetry, online articles, and fiction.
You can download all three of my ebooks on Amazon. COASTAL DAYDREAMS is a collection of beach poetry, while EMOTIONS is a group of poems covering various feelings everyone experiences. NO ONE, a mystery/science fiction/romance novella, is my latest work (also available at barnesandnoble.com and kobo.com).
I've been on a bit of an "indie book" kick lately and was excited when I saw this book with seemingly all good reviews for .99 on Amazon. Yikes. I did not know it was possible to make 82 pages feel so painstakingly lonnng. So many unnecessarily long descriptions and adjectives about basically anything the protagonist sees or does. I'm starting to think the other reviews might be fluff from the author's loved ones. In my opinion this only ends up doing a disservice to the author whenever a real reader comes along and gives their unbiased feedback. 🤷♀️ Back to mainstream books I go!
I really enjoyed this book! It's a short book, but doesn't feel that way. I love that it's dramatic and suspenseful, but does so without resorting to profanity, sex scenes, etc.. I also enjoyed the way the Bible, prayers, and Scripture help give strength and peace to the main character. Finally, it definitely has some twists and turns you won't be expecting, especially towards the end of the book.
Yes, I’m the author of this book, but I spent around 5 years working on it on and off, so I’m entitled to give a review, right? 😉 Should I have written an outline? Probably; although feeling my way through the story helped keep the mystery alive through every page. I don’t want to spoil the story, but I hope you enjoy the adventure through the main character’s eyes. I enjoyed unveiling the mystery as I wrote it and I hope you enjoy reading it, too!
