Received an ARC for review

It had good moments. It had moments that drraagggedd. Overall a good read. I love Marissa and her determination to ride a horse. I really want to know more about why her friend Audra is hiding and if she'll hook up with Carter. The catching of the bad guy was ssssoooo anti-climatic it was almost boring. Great epilogue for Logan and Kendall.

I do not usually go for Cowboy stories. But I met Pam through a mutual friend and really wanted to read her book. It is amazing! I loved every minute of it and didn't want to put it down or finish it. I can't wait for her next book!

Four and a half stars

Cowboy on Her Doorstep is the first in Pam Mantovani’s Burton Springs Cowboys series.

Logan Montgomery and Kendall Grant shared one incredible night several years ago right before Logan enlisted. Now he’s back and realizing that Kendall is not only not the girl he’d left behind, she’s a woman with some secrets of her own.

Pam Mantovani writes sympathetically about Logan and Kendall and their challenging pasts. The small town of Burton Springs is a warm, supportive community, and that is also a pleasure to read. For the most part, Kendall and Logan are able to navigate their resurfacing feelings with some maturity and grace, and I’m eager to read more in this series.

Second Chance!

Cowboy on Her Doorstep: He had been way for a while but he needed to get away from his family! Being in the army changed him a lot. His friends last words were to go home cowboy! Before he headed home he had spend a little bit of time with his friends wife and son. It was a wonderful story!

I just loved this story doesn’t everyone want a second chance at love with the one that got away? The author throws a twist on it with said man finding out he is a father which floors him as well as excites him. As with every story there must be a rough road all leading to love if one will just open their minds and heart to go for what they really want. This is a wonderful military read of Logan coming home to find his world is about to chance again.

With one night of passion Kendall gave all she had not expecting to find Logan gone by morning. No word from either to the other for 4 years. Logan comes home from the Army to find he left more behind then just hurt and pain from a father who died before he could mend fences wow he has a child. Over the years neither could forget the night they had but neither willing to give in and contact the other. Both truly loving the other but no one is willing to talk. They will have to now but this could be the hardest thing either has ever done as their feelings get in the way along with misunderstanding.

Now there are fences to be mended not only with each other but a child and a brother who both need him so much. He has some major choices to make leave the army or stay with his family. Can 4 people forgive and forget the pain that draws them together or will the past always be in the way for two families who need each other?

I just loved these characters Kendall is the typical women reading to much in to everything. She is one sweet caring loving woman who puts her child first. After being raised with a father who didn’t notice she was around she wants her daughter’s life to be different. She is going to have to decided what is best not only for herself but for her daughter. Just how much is she willing to share, bend to make Logan apart of his daughter’s life?

Logan is just one stand up man from start to finish. He might have missed his father’s funeral but it was for a good cause. He truly wanted to make amends with his father and brother he just didn’t see that happening. Logan is a man who goes after what he wants at the same time he is willing to bend and give.

The author gives you wonderful supporting characters which you come to love. I just loved their daughter who has a way of saying things as she tries to get her way. She is one heck of a little lady as she teaches adults a few things about life and love. The book is written that it be the first in a series. There is no cliffhanger here just some wonderfully writing that holds your attention. This is a book I had trouble putting down. The author does give you a few twists and turns as she throws in a little suspense and mystery. This is the only book I have read by this author it sure will not be the last. Pam gives you a wonderful plot with great characters as she spins a compelling story of the one who got away but came home to find a family whose world will never be the same. She gives you the trials of them finding away to build somewhat of a life together for their daughter. I found this story to be very believable, the writing outstanding with humor, pain, learning, trusting and so much more.

I was just tickled pink when I won this book in a drawing I couldn’t wait to start it, now I can’t wait for her next book. If you are looking for a new author who knows how to write, that keep you smiling as she pulls you in to the thrill of the chase as she twist and turns you with suspense why she gives you some very hot scenes look no farther you have found her.

Ugh, I always hate stories like this; that being said, I still read these types of stories and for the most part very much enjoy them.

Logan and Kendall were very good friends, Kendall was in love with Logan, but typical guy in these types of stories, Logan has no idea. Kendall and Logan have one night together before Logan leaves town and eventually joins the army. Kendall ends up pregnant, but despite everything, she makes a great life for herself and her daughter Marissa.

When Logan comes back to town after being away for many years, he learns that he has a daughter. Logan now wants to be a part of his daughter's life and to show Kendall that they can have a great life together.

Kendall can't bring herself to trust Logan, she doesn't know if he really will stick around and she doesn't want her daughter to form an attachment that might be temporary.

I hate these stories because in the years the guy is away, he never really gives the girl any thought, but the moment he returns and see's her again it's like "you've always been the one, I love you". Still, the story was good, we have a strong female character that doesn't need the man in her life for everything to be okay; and the male character isn't an ass, from the moment he comes back, he sets out to right his wrongs and show that he can be relied on. The story isn't that long and it's good, I finished it one day and I must say I would love if the author gave us a sequel, maybe for Logan's brother and Kendall's friend.

Kendall I give major props to her she puts her daughter first and I loved that about her, "maybe not. I'm tired, and when I am, I tend to be irritable. You have no idea how it feels to be exhausted and know you have no one to depend on, no one to give you five minutes of rest or quiet." She dragged hands through her hair, resisted the urge to pull at the ends. "Still, I would do it all over again without hesitation." Logan that boy is just plain cocky, "when I come into your bed," he countered, his gaze lowering to her mouth before lifting to stare at her. "It's not going to have anything to do with Marissa." He's also plainly truthful, "now you've decided you want to make love again. God knows I want to be with you. But this time, I won't let you use me to escape reality like you did all those years ago." But sometimes with that painful truth comes sweetness, "have I given you reason to believe I'm bored?" When embarrassed color rose on her cheeks, Logan grinned. "Trust me, Kendall, I'm never bored around you. In or out of the bed." I enjoyed reading this book so so much and I can't was to see if Logan's brother gets a book .

This is the first book I've read by Pam and it definitely won't be the last. Logan has spent the last 5 years in the military and the night before he left he slept with his best friend Kendall. He didn't know it at the time, but she got pregnant with his baby. Kendall kept the fact that she had a child from Logan, but when he comes home she admits that her daughter is also his. They develop feelings for each other as they get to know the other one again. Logan was sexy and strong. He was adamant about getting to know his daughter, but he also respected that Kendall knew Marissa (their daughter) better, so she knew when the right time was to let Marissa know that he was her father. Kendall was scared to let Logan in, but understood that Marissa needed to know her father. I got a kick out of how Logan and Marissa met for the first time and liked that Marissa didn't particularly like Logan because she thought he was being mean to her mom. They did end up loving each other and their relationship developed in a realistic and heartwarming way. This book gets 4.5 stars from me and I hope that there will be a sequel of Logan's brother and Kendall's best friend.

This ended up being not what I expected. For one most stories of the man not knowing he had a child leads to the mom being very much hard to relate to...however Kendall was something else.

After one night of passion, Kendall ends up pregnant, her best friend is gone, and she's alone. After four years of making it on her own, she's now back in her hometown with her daughter when Logan shows up.

He had to get away from his father. Make something of his life and now is back to move past his father passing on. What he doesn't expect is Kendall with a daughter.

What I liked about this is Kendall protected Marissa. She didn't just keep her away from Logan. Unknowing what Logan's plans were all she wanted to do was protect her little girl from heartache. She let Logan see her, spend time together, and eventually he proved he was ready to be a father. I thought it was good.

Then you add a little drama from Kendall being a cop...it was a really good read.

This was a solid, enjoyable read. It's pretty standard secret baby fare, with a little suspense thrown in. I really enjoyed the characters Logan and Kendall had both history and great chemistry going for them. I really liked that everyone who was involved acted like adults, there was good communication throughout and a noted lack of stupid fighting (I hate stupid fighting, when there's an actual conflict fine but so often it seems like couples fight over stupid crap a simple conversation could solve). I'm a little torn on the suspense element, it was good don't get me wrong but as I was reading it I kept finding myself thinking about how I would have done it differently. All in all this was a good read, if you like secret babies, cowboys and the like you should give this one a shot too. I received an ARC of this book from the publisher through Net Galley in exchange for an honest review.

I really enjoyed this book. I love stories with cowboys and second chances at love. Logan and Kendall had enjoyed friends for a long time, but one night that all changed when they slept together. Logan left town the next day and has been gone for five years. Kendall has come home too, and she has a secret, one she's not ready to reveal. The two of them have a great chemistry together. It was also nice to see that they all acted like adults. They didn't have any silly fights, no big blow ups, they talked every thing through. It's the perfect second chance love story. I'm looking forward to reading more from this author.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading Cowboy On Her Doorstep. I always love reading anything with cowboys, so this book was right up my ally. There are only a handful of second romance stories that I really enjoy, and Cowboy On Her Doorstep is one of them. The characters are well developed and completely lovable. You will fall in love with Logan and Kendall. Kendall is such a strong female character and Logan, well Logan is definitely hero material. Pam Mantovani did an excellent job with this book and I can't wait to read what's next from her!

I don’t usually read contemporary romance (I’m more into mystery and history), so Cowboy on Her Doorstep was a refreshing change of pace for me. It was both sweet and sexy, and Kendall and Logan are well-drawn characters who have been through a lot and really deserve their happily ever after. There's plenty of action and excitement in the story, but at the same time I found it a comforting read. All in all, a very enjoyable romance.

A delightful romance. A sexy cowboy, ex-army Ranger. A strong, female sheriff. A secret baby in the form of a delightful little girl. And Pam Mantovani blends it all together seamlessly, making you want to read more of her work, What's not to love?

As a new author to me I can say I am glad I picked up this book to read. It was a love story told by plenty of authors but one you were drawn in from the start to finish. Love the relationship between Logan Montgomery and Kendall Grant.

This is an enjoyable and well-plotted "secret baby" story with sympathetic characters and a believable premise for why that baby was kept secret. Excellent read.

A fun and enjoyable read. The climax? Maybe a little too implausible, but it did notch the suspense up a bit.
