2.5 Augh, I didn't remember this being so poorly written. Why?! And I hate the new girl. But, I'll keep on reading. I have to see the ending. I'm seriously getting Nisekoi flashbacks (I hated this one more.)
This volume was going along about as well as the first when suddenly it want off the rails midway through with the introduction of an unnecessary and unwelcome romantic rival who takes the fan service to a new insufferable level. Ugh.
Although this series features two of the worst, most annoying female characters I can recall, it does also make the excellent point that in harem manga, the girls never listen when the male lead is trying to explain something to them. Basically Takeoka just summed up my major issue with the genre...and continues to demonstrate it.
I’m going to drop this manga series. To me, the story seemed to lose its way when the female transfer student and the introduction of the new girl seemed unnecessary this early into the story. Also, I really don’t like the fact that Masamune’s 42 year old mother physically looks a lot less developed than his 8th grader sister; the few times they appear is just creepy to read.
I don’t like this new character, it’s all real suspicious but I’ve embarked on a journey I think I’ll see through even if it’s just to not like it at the end
