Very informative and easy to read for someone new to Chinese medicine and curious about acupuncture (as a patient, not a practitioner). However, it's very dry, meaning, straightforwardly factual. So it's not really enjoyable to read. But it's a good primer as it wasn't easy for me to find books like this that weren't aimed at teaching acupuncture. I just wanted to better understand how it worked as I've been benefitting from it recently for various health symptoms.
