My local library was getting rid of some old and damaged books which no one borrows anymore. This was one of the books that caught my attention while I was browsing through those poor tattered babies. As English isn't my first language, I never got to know what kind of fairy tales English speaking children know, so I thought I might give it a try. The stories are very short and that's exactly what I needed for this year's exam period - I don't like reading novels in the weeks I got my exams, because I end up not being able to focus on studying and and I just want to go back to reading the novel.. So this was perfect, because each short story had its own "plot".
