It was really fun to see Li-kun as (view spoiler) in the play! lol I normally roll my eyes at the mandatory cute-boy-in-girls-clothes gimmick that seems to appear in almost every shoujo manga where there's a school involved. It's always at a play or part of a fundraiser or just at the festival to draw in the crowds. But Li-kun was funny because he was so embarrassed by it, the little toughy. xD Anybody else hate Sakura's inexplicable hanyan for Mizuki-sensei? What a ...more

Lol, Touya is awesome. I just laugh at his over protectiveness. :)

Finally! Li is showing some kind of emotion towards sakura. I've been waiting for so long for some of their relationship happening...

Lol, at the sleeping beauty play.

I was really annoyed at sakura being so....air headed in this volume...
More and more mizuki plus everyone knows who yue is, clamp doesn't exactly hide it well.

This seems like a cute and interesting enough manga -series. Kind of weird as well with some implied things and relationships. I'm not sure which categories to shelf this to; children's or teens? (maybe children's because the MC is in elementary school, but are the kanji too advanced for kids? I guess that's why there's the annoyingly small furigana, meh :)).

Not having read this series before, in short this is what I understood: Sakura is schoolgirl (with hidden magical powers) who has decided t

I keep loving this series from the folks at Clamp! It really does classify as a manga masterpiece. In this volume Sakura meets a relative that she is unaware of. Sakura's elementary school has their annual talent show, and her class decides to do the play Sleeping Beauty. But here is the twist...there is some gender bending going on! And what is the big blackout all about? We also get some information on Yue! Yue the Judge! Can Li-kun and Sakura co-operate? Can clow cards be captured? We only ha ...more

I don't like that Kaho acts all cool and mysterious. If she doesn't want to let the cat out of the bag, then just be silent. Such an attention-beggar :p Oh well, maybe I just dislike her because Touya loved her (ugh), when I cannot see the charms she has.

Next volume is the judgment thing, I guess? I already know who Yue is, but I forgot the details. Now that I'm rereading this series, I'm not sure CCS is still going to be one of my favorite CLAMP works.

Bellissimo.

Syaoran mulai nge-blushing dekat Sakura fufufu XD.

I'm really glad Li and Sakura are starting to get along better and I love Touya's brotherly love. But I can't help but feel annoyed by Sakura's crush on Mizuki and Tsukishiro.

When asked what my favorite manga-ka is, I'd have to say CLAMP without a moment's hesitation. When asked what my favorite manga by CLAMP is, though, I hesitate. It's so hard to narrow it down.

Ultimately, though, CCS is definitely in my top five. This manga is so damn charming. The main character is wonderful, delightful, and so strong, her supporting cast is memorable and beautiful. The manga covers many themes and motifs, but the one that's most compelling to me is the concept that love comes

Totally like the disney version. My favorite volume so far!! I was laughing so hard during this book. The idea of Sakura being the Prince and Syaoran being Princess Aurora in The Sleeping Beauty play was brilliant!!!!!!!! I was cracking up the whole time especially at Toya's expressions and looking like "What the heck?!!" When he saw Syao

I've read this entire series and I would recommend it as a "first manga" for any young manga readers. It was made by CLAMP who does alot of intese fantasies which are all very "kidfriendly". Although, the teen version of CCS, Tsubasa Chronicle, may be al little violent depending on the age of the reader.
This was persomally my first manga. I don't remember it super well, but I started reading it when I was about 11 or 12. I do recommend it to anyone who is interested in taking up the manga hobbi

I really loved this book. I lived a lot of feelings while reading it. At one time I was crying and the other I was laughing out loud. The meeting that Sakura make in this manga made me react a lot.

This plotting is so bizarre. I can just imagine CLAMP saying "Yeah, well, I know we haven't made any real progress in the story, and I know we only have one volume left in the series, but comeon, let's just make a really funny one about a Sleeping Beauty school play. We'll worry about rising action and climax and resolution later."

Great book for a psychologist or something, since it has every kind of twisted relationship: sister complex, sexuality confusion; kids of 9 that talk about love like they are adults; love between a teacher (an adult) and his student (a little girl of 9); relationship between another teacher and a high school boy; men that can't move on since the death of their beloved one...

- This volume was really short.

- I loved the play. It cracked me up! Those costumes were awesome!

- I really loved how Light and Dark were captured.

- Finally, we got some info on the mystery woman!!

- I don't know how they are going to wrap this up in one more volume! There is a lot that still needs to happen.

- I really wish this series was in color.

I actually laughed out loud reading the part about the school play! Sakura as the Prince and Li-kun as the Sleeping Beauty with attitude! Toya's face! I also loved the part where Sakura met her great-grandfather. But what intrigued me most was Yue and Kerberos. Also, I'm curious what Kaho's role in the whole Clow business is. And, of course - Yukito and Toya are made of win! What else is new? ;)

Cute little series by CLAMP. Not quite as sweepingly epic as standard CLAMP fare (Tsubasa/xxxHoLic), but quite enjoyable. Is aimed more at middle school students than teens looking for a romance/action manga.

I always loved the artwork of these books. The stories were great, and the messages they left behind were even better. But I could never get over how wonderful the artwork was, especially the costumes they thought up for Sakura.
