I really enjoyed Lily's trilogy, the first three novellas in the Gilded Flower series, but I think that I enjoyed Blue Dahlia a little more! Perhaps it's because it's the beginning of Dahlia's story, and I didn't get as much of her as I would have liked throughout Lily's books.

Blue Dahlia was a quick read, and I totally devoured it. I enjoyed learning more about Dahlia and her past, and it was great getting inside her head. The differences between her and her twin sister Lily are more vivid now

Wow! Vivian Winslow, I love you! You never cease to amaze me in your writing! I love how these books are very quick reads and you can still enjoy a sweet love story as well as the hot and steamy parts are never far apart!

Blue Dahlia is the 4th book in the Gilded Flower series and focuses on Lily’s sister Dahlia. I liked this book because you learned more about the character Dahlia and you realize that she is much more complex than what was lead on

Dahlia is happy in her relationship with Rodrigo and is planning to move to Miami to solidify her future with him. She knows that there is a pretty big something in her past that is keeping her from being able to move forward with Rodrigo, so she travels to California in an attempt to tie up the loose ends. When she gets there she realizes that things are going to be more complex than she anticipated.

It was hard for me to connect fully to Dahlia because while she has obviously suffered some ser

While I did enjoy Blue Dahlia a lot more than her previous ones, it was a different feeling. Then there was something that hit me while I was reading, I truly believe that Winslow is slowly rising as an author. As far as this novella goes, Vivian Winslow has all the ingredients to become a really fantastic author, she’s good, sure, no doubt, I wouldn’t give 3 stars (ok yes I’m cheap with stars, deal with it), but at the same time, if she

Vivian this one surprised the hell out me!  I loved the way you portrayed Dahlia’s character.  It’s going to be SOOOOO hard to review this without spoilers flying everywhere but here goes….

This is the fourth installment of the Gilded Flower series.  Now that Lily found her happily ever after with Alejandro it’s time to learn more about her twin sister Dahlia a.k.a. “D”.  D is head over heals for Rodrigo, Alejandra's brother.  They plan on having their own happily e

Please note that this review contains spoilers!

After reading about Lily, Dahlia's twin, in the first three books of the Gilded Flower Series, I was always curious as to who Dahlia was and what she had been through. There are small glimpses and allusions to something that happened in her past but as the reader, you never really know what happened to her. Well in the first installment of Dahlia's story, Blue Dahlia, you get exactly that. Dahlia is living life and loving Rodrigo, her sexy Latin ma

Having read the first trilogy of the Gilded Flower Series, I was rather anxious and excited to read more of Lily's wild child, twin sister, Dahlia.

Dahlia and Lily may be twins but they're very different from one another. Dahlia has a secret .....I'm burning to find out what it is!

In Tiger Lily, #3 in the Gilded series, Dahlia and Rodrigo hooked up and Blue Dahlia picks up from there. What does catch my attention though is the refer

WOW just finish reading this book, and love it, love the characters, I have read the first three book in the series, and I love them all, the first three book of the series is the story of Lily, that's how we get to know that she has a twin sister, that's where we also get to meet the Cuban brothers, and that's where we also get to know that Dahlia have secrets, this book is from Dahlia point of view, and I have to say that I l

Blue Dahlia is the 4th book in the series but we are now getting the story of the evil twin Dahlia !! WOW I hated her lots in book 1 but by book 3 I was a fan of hers and I just knew her story would blow the rest out of the water !! At the end of book 3 you think you know what her secret may be , or at least you know a piece of it. I was left in agony waiting and waiting to find out all the details and this book did not disappoint.

Dahlia is living it up. Enjoying life and finally settling down

I have absolutely loved the Gilded Flowers series so far. Lily's story was totally addictive and I was hooked to each novella.

It's now Lily's twin sister Dahlia's story. Dahlia is the twin that seems to have the bad reputation. The girls come from a well known and respected society family, and have grown up to know all about appearances and doing as they are told. They are incredibly wealthy and have pretty much anything they want. Which isn't always the case, it wasn't with Lily, and it certai

You’ll remember Dahlia from the Gilded Lily trilogy. She wasn’t one of my favorite characters then because of the way she tried to prevent a disaster marriage for her identical twin, Lily. Dahlia has always been more of the rebel sister. When she was younger, she left the nest partially to get out from under her parents’ thumbs. I suspect the intent was also to agitate her morally questionable mother. Sadly, I have found that D seems to have similar values even if she doesn’t want to admit it.

I found this book way hotter than the Gilded Flower Trilogy. Though it is hotter it still fell a little short for me. Maybe I’m just expecting too much from the story, I’m not sure but for an erotica story, I want more sexy steamy sex, lol.

I had mixed feelings about Dahlia from the previous trilogy because of what she did to her sister. So, I really wasn’t a fan of hers until she met Rodrigo and started to fall in love. We got to see another side to her with the hint that there is something deep

Blue Dahlia, in my opinion, is every woman’s wet dream come true. It’s got every fucking thing we women envy – from two hot boys pining over us to sex that is so hot it will melt your panties.

Vivian Winslow writes THE hottest erotica I’ve ever read – and I’ve read a lot of this shiz. The best part is, it doesn’t read like just plain ol’ shagging; there’s as much emotion as there can be. It’s pretty damn good when you think about this from the perspective of a romance lover.

Blue Dahlia is book 4 in the Gilded Flower series. The first three books focused Dahlia's sister Lily. The next three books in the series will focus on Dahlia. Dahlia does star a relationship with Rodrigo in Tiger Lily, book 3 and they are together in the beginning of Blue Dahlia but I think that Dahlia's story can be read without reading the first three books.

Right off the bat I was sucked into the story. Dahlia has a secret past that she needs to take care of. She flies to California to confro

I was excited to get the chance to read Dahlia's story, after I got an opportunity to read Lily's story a few months back. The first thing that stood out to me was how well this story seemed to flow versus the books in Lily's portion of the series. With that said, the Dahlia we have in this story is very different from the Dahlia we met in Lily's story, who in the beginning of the entire series seemed to be more open and carefree. I was gifted a copy for an honest review and I must say...I loved Dahlia's story.

Life is a crazy journey and this story is no different. When trying to go one direction your heart can take you in another...or even back to when it first started beating for another. This is the ultimate happy ending story and absolutely loved the journey getting there.

Blue Dahlia is a lot of story packed in to a beautifully written novella. Dahlia, I wanted to dislike her but I just couldn't. She is a woman who looks like she has it all but inside she's broken, and she must deal with her past before she can move on with her future. She's indecisive, she passionate, and she has no freaking clue what the hell she really wants. She thought she knew, until she had to face the past head on. I got to review Lily’s books (the first 3 in the series) so of course I jumped at the opportunity to read the first of Dahlia’s books. I really like Dahlia. She’s torn between lives and is still trying to figure herself out and heal from the past. She has a great personality and I loved her attitude about her uppity mother. I have liked this series so far. This book is no exception. It's a quick read and will give you more insight as to who Dahlia is and what she's been hiding from. During this story you will get to read about her life and see why she can't give her all to Rodrigo. A tiny roller coaster turns into a total change in Dahlia's life and complete happiness.

I would have liked to have a longer story and more drama but overall it's a good story.

Vivian Winslow’s “Blue Dahlia” is a wonderfully sexy short story. We finally get to know Dahlia’s story. Surprisingly, she seems like someone you can empathize with now. After reading Lily’s stories, I didn’t know if I’d like Dahlia’s story, but I totally did. Very Sweet Home Alabama. Lots of extremely hot nookie, although once or twice some of the terms for the naughty parts was a bit much…slick love box? Really?

I’m pleasantly surprised with the fact that the book is fast paced, easy to follow, and begins with a promising plot. Definitely appreciative of the fact that the story moves along quickly and doesn’t drag on.
The characters are easy to understand and are so believable I could picture myself being friends with these women. Vivian did a wonderful job at creating fun, upbeat characters that add to the plot instead of taking from it.
