This was a cute kids story with little sing-along bits for each vehicle, to be sung to the tune of 'round and round the mulberry bush'. My 4-year-old liked this and requested t again the next few nights.

This is a great book for little kids - I think boys would like it more because of the theme but it is so cute that a lot of girls would be interested as well :) The author tells the story of the construction vehicles to the tune of "All Around the Mulberry Bush" and so you can either just read it or you can sing it to your own music! My daughter loved it, she loves music so having mommy sing her a book was absolutely awesome to her. Not only does it tell the story through song, but the ebook als ...more

My toddler loves anything and everything involving construction, so when I had the opportunity to review Sing-Along Construction Song by Louise Lintvelt I jumped at the chance. We bothed absolutely loved the wonderful rhyming text and darling illustrations of construction sites and equiment that are personified with friendly faces.

The book is well organized and clear, so the reader understands the tune of the song and knows exactly when to sing. I wasn't sure if my 2 1/2 year old would pick up

This children's book is colorfully illustrated and fun to read! And the audio song that accompanies it is such a wonderful compliment.

I read the book first, and then listened to the audio song that came with it. Right after, I shared it with my two year old daughter. It kept her fully entertained. In fact, within seconds of the audio song playing, she got up and started to dance (smiling from ear to ear). Once it was finished, I had her sit by my side, listening to me read the story to her and

Max is always singing. "The ABCs", "Jesus Loves Me", "Twinkle Twinkle", Lee Brice's "I Don't Dance", and Florida Georgia Line's "Cruise" are his favorites, but really anything can get him singing. His favorite moments of movies are the end credits, when they play music.

"Let's get up and dance, Mommy!" he always says. Usually this is at home, though, we did boogie a week ago at the theatre after The BoxTrolls.

All this to say that Max was a huge fan when we played "Sing Along Construction Song" an

This is a fantastically cute book! I absolutely love the art and the rhyming story. My four-year old son loves construction trucks. He has to point them out everywhere we go. His Nana has borrowed countless books from the library for him about these types of vehicles. I knew when I saw it that it would be a big hit. I personally loved the rhyming and how wonderful the descriptions of what each vehicle does was simplistically put for a child to understand. Yet the vocabulary is something that enc ...more

For any parent like me that can't help but burst into song while playing or reading to your child, this book is for you!!! Sing along construction song is just as wonderful as it sounds. This wonderful little book is filled with construction equipment singing while they work. It's like the seven dwarves, but with building equipment instead... singing makes everything better.

I have read some of the other books by this author, Louise Lintvelt, and loved them all... but this one is by far, my favo

The book cover is really cute and cheerful. The book is about construction vehicles at the construction site, going about their daily work, early in the morning. There is a cheerful energy in the rhyming sentences that is so contagious!. It is super cute and the illustrations by Julie Sneeden, will keep little readers glued to the pages. Each construction vehicle does a different job and the pages highlight it in simple words.

The crew is hard at work at the construction site. Meet the dump truck, the excavator, the crane, the bulldozer, and the cement truck as they go about their work, happily singing their construction song.

Sing along with them! You can download the accompanying song via a link in the book and sing along to the tune of "Round the Mulberry Bush". Singing is a great way to get your little ones to learn to read by remembering the words. Julie Sneeden's illustrations make the vehicles come alive, and t

I adore this book, My husband works construction and when the little ones ask
what he does at work, what better way to show them then this book, there are all the construction machines at the beginning and moves into a song that all rhymes. It is great for little boys that like to play with cars and trucks and build things too, ( I think some girls will like it because of the "daddy" thing and the Rhymes and song although i think it is more for little boys) it goes thru very smooth and I think mo

Little boys and probably many little girls will enjoy reading and singing along about the activity that goes on at construction sites, especially the big trucks, all the dirt, and plenty of noise so early in the morning.

The illustrations quickly drew me, I meant will draw the children in and will have them you bugging you to take them to visit a real construction site. In the meantime they can continue singing and sharing the story of the Sing-Along construction Song book with all their friends

Children's Author, Louise Lintvelt, has cleverly created a sure "hit" with all young children who read this. The story details the equipment and process involved in construction. Full of brightly illustrated construction trucks busy at work on a site and set to the tune of Round the Mulberry Bush this is an obvious hit with toddlers. The illustrations remind me of the bestselling book Goodnight, Goodnight Construction Site. They are bursting with light, energy, and personable trucks. The text is both informative and playful. Toddlers will eagerly chime in on the chorus "this is the way I...early in the morning" as dump trucks dump, excavators shovel, cranes lift and more ...more

Do you know any little boys that do not like construction? I’ve never come across one! Construction and singing go hand in hand! This fun filled book gives all the ins and outs of the world of construction and the trucks that are involved. With easy rhyme throughout, the book talks about the function of the construction truck and it’s specific job, all to the tune of a familiar nursery rhyme if you would like to take your reading to the next step of engagement. What a pure treasure for anybody who loves big construction vehicles --- show how they each do their job individually and then how they accomplish what they're doing working all together ---- the pictures are perfect, the story rhymes and the song can be song along on every page right through the end! I sang them aloud while I was reading the book and even my husband laughed --- plus if you double click on the words - the sentences get bigger, click and they're back to the right size! Sing-Along Construction Song is a wonderful water colored illustrated book. I adore learning the names of the machines and their duties by means of the rhyming phrases. The bonus material has a free download song on the writer's website that is easy to follow. Although, I feel the singer rushes through the lyrics.

I do not like the drawing of the tower crane's mouth. It expresses a sad or a serious emotion. I believe the face should have a smile. And I would like a couple of construction people t

The Sing-Along Construction Song is a fun and inviting children's book about various types of large equipment and how they work together in harmony.

The illustrations are bold and vivid. The rhyming prose holds the attention of young children. Preschoolers love to listen to the song as well as sing to the song on their own. The downloadable song really makes this a fun and interactive book. My 4-year-old daughter recognised the tune and had a real giggle over it! The trucks work to the same tune

Louise Lintvelt’s new book is conveniently timed with my three year old’s interest in sing books (like Pete the Cat) as he does at home and at school. While the illustrations are delightful enough with great construction “characters,” the addition of the song really makes this a fun and interactive book and reading experience for children. We like that each machine has his own “song” and we get to see what the machine does as he works in the construction site. If your child, like mine, loves con ...more

I knew from reading her previous books that we were in for a treat when I was asked to review "Sing-a-Long Construction Song" - and I was not wrong! It's another winner for Louise Lintvelt.

The book is a magical blend of sing-song rhymes, appealing characters and the most beautiful watercolour illustrations. My kids loved joining in with the construction song, which was set to a well-known tune and had very easy, catchy words. The free download was a huge hit too. Great for boys and girls alike -

This is a terrific book for all those little tractor/construction lovers out there. With a clever new take on a familiar children's song, this book goes from one construction vehicle to the other and tells/illustrates what each vehicle does. The illustrations are simple, bright and perfect for the smallest readers. Although kids won't be able to sing the verses without practice, the refrain is easy to pick up on and fun to sing-along.

I recommend this to kids 4 and under.

Text:

This book is perfect for a little boy/girl. The author did a great job putting together a fun filled rhyming story. A child is more likely to get into the story and understand it more if it is made fun and a sing along is a perfect idea.
