I found this a bit limiting, we live in Seattle, which cam be quite dreary, and we live in a dense area. So I am all for painting with non-earthtones if that's what you want. We chose A green, a cream that looks yellow, and white trim.
Even after looking at all these books on exterior colors, I think I am just going with off-white for the trim.
Very informative and helpful -- especially if you live in a bungalow!
