What happens when a soldier receives an unexpected inheritance at Christmastime?

Wolf Cassidy is always in control. After serving as an Army pilot, he’s going to marry his high school sweetheart and start a new career flying for a commercial airline. His whole life is neatly planned out, just the way he likes it.

But when he comes home to small town Trinity Falls for the holidays, Wolf receives an unexpected inheritance—a tiny baby boy.

From the moment Wolf looks into Ezra’s little face, he knows he’s going to say yes to the baby. Even though it means losing his career, his girlfriend, and all his life plans in an instant.

Now Wolf’s days are filled with bottles, diaper changes, and baby books. And his nights are filled with dreams about Samantha, the golden-hearted young woman at a local veterans’ foundation whose sunny smile and relentless offers of assistance are proving to be irresistible.

But Wolf knows he can’t let himself fall for Samantha and her brilliant, bookish little sister—not if he wants to maintain even a tiny bit of control while his new life spins out unexpectedly.

When a sudden snowstorm hits the tiny farming community just before the holidays, Wolf and Samantha may be forced to confront the feelings they’ve both been trying to deny, and the bond that is inevitably drawing the four of them closer.

Trinity Falls Sweet Romance is all about finding family – one clean & wholesome romance at a time. The Trinity Falls Sweet Home for Christmas series celebrates a group of men coming home to a small Pennsylvania town at Christmastime, and finding love and meaning in the season.

Soldier's Christmas Baby was a sweet and heartwarming read.
I've enjoyed being back in Trinity Falls and have a look to some of the old couples I've previously met.

Samantha Green is new in town, she helps vets to get comfortable into their life as civilian. Wolf Cassidy has just left the army, he came back to his hometown to spend Christmas with his family and then go back to the city to start his new job. That was his plan until he met Ezra, a baby who will change him and his plans.

Samantha is unselfish, she wants to help others so much, and that's why in a cold night she goes with Wolf to buy whatever he needs to take care of Ezra. Wolf is stern and a control freak, but the baby, Samantha and her sister will soften him, making him smile more and appreciate the warmth of the family.
I really liked to follow Samantha and Wolf journey, how their relationship develops when they discover and accept their feelings for each other.

I think I'll never tire of Clara Pines writing and storyline, she once again caught my attention at the first chapter and kept it until I reached the end.
I'm already looking forward to the next adventure.

Army veteran and pilot, Wolf Cassidy just returned to Trinity Falls after he left the military. He has a girlfriend and new job s a commercial pilot. He receives an inheritance but it’s not what he thinks. His friend and wife dies from an accident and Wolf was named the guardian of the little boy, Ezra. When they put him in his arms, Wolf falls in love with him. He will make sure he has a loving and wonderful life. Wolf’s girlfriend dumps him on the speaker phone in front of Samantha Green. She works to help the veterans who return home and finds a job. Easing their way back into the community again. Samantha Green and her seven year old sister moved Trinity Falls because of a job offer. It’s a great job with good pay and her hours are set for her to be with her sister who’s still coming to terms with their parents death. Wolf seems to need help so Sam and her sister jump in and shows him the ropes. Sam and Wolf have a lot in common. Especially since they both had great losses and have children to raise. Can she find Wolf a job? Will Wolf learn how to take care of Ezra? Will he depend on them? He doesn’t want to take advantage of them. Sam and her sister love spending time with Wolf and Ezra. The more time they all spend together makes it feel like a family. Wolf shows Sam and her sister around since they’re new to town. Lots of Christmas festivities. Sam likes that Wolf treats her sister so good. He’s kind, considerate and loving. Being handsome doesn’t hurt either. Will he leave for the job? Can Sam find him one in Trinity Falls? Her feelings are starting to bubble up. She doesn’t want to be hurt, especially since her little sister is getting close to both Wolf and Ezra. The characters are wonderful. They both deserve to find happily ever after. Wolf was so kind to her sister especially since she has epilepsy. Most men would have ran away. I was rooting for this couple, and for the kids. Will they have some Christmas magic? Worth the read. I received this book for my honest review. I give it voluntarily

Soldier's Christmas Baby: Trinity Falls Sweet Romance - Home for Christmas - Book 1
Former army pilot Wolf Cassidy returns to the small town of Trinity Falls after two tours over seas. He is a much loved nephew to the owners of the Cassidy Farm. He is immediately requested to see a local attorney as he returns only to find out that his best friend from his youth and that friends young wife tragically die bequeathing Wolf their home and their baby son to raise. When Wolf’s fiancé finds out about the baby, she dumps him. The first day with the baby he meets Samantha who helps veterans find their way back into living out of the military. Samatha has a young sister she is raising since their parents died. Wolf and Samantha both click in how they relate to each other and to the children. It is a match unexpected and truly joining altogether.
I loved reading this book and I think it is Clara Pines’ best book yet! The people, events and relationships are so real that I couldn’t put it down. I am already excited to read her next book.

When Wolf decides to get out of the service and become a commercial pilot he heads home to Trinity Falls for Christmas before starting his new career and life with his high school sweetheart. Once in town he is summoned to the law office for an unexpected inheritance- a baby boy named Ezra. Samantha (Sam) works as a liaison between townspeople and returning vets who are assimilating back to civilian life. She is a new transplant to Trinity Falls along with her sister, Amelia who she is raising as her parents are deceased. What ensues is an absolutely wonderful story! There are challenges, age differences, life curve balls and then during a sudden snowstorm they drawn together even closer as a health scare has them racing to the hospital. This story is heartwarming! There is laughter, a few tears and a relationship they all fight together to last. 5+ stars. Clara Pines your books never disappoint!

I loved this Christmas romance.

Wolf Cassidy is a big tough ex vet who has returned home for a break before getting a job hopefully as a pilot which is what he was in the Forces.
Things take an unexpected turn when he receives a letter telling him of the tragic death of one of his old friends and his wife leaving Baby Ezra in his care. Wow. What a shock 😲

Samantha (Sam) Green has just moved to Trinity Falls and is loving her new job supporting vets, new and old, to asjust to their new life.

She has a big responsibility with the care of her young sister who's parents have tragically died. Sam is a very strong young woman and when Wolf and Baby Ezra cross her path, things will change forever.

I loved this story it's a lovely romantic tale of two lost souls who have big responsibilities but life will change forever.

Soldier’s Christmas Baby

Wolf and Samantha have a wonderfully sweet story. When Wolf returns to Trinity Falls for a visit at Christmas, his plans were to settle down with his high school sweetheart and fly for a commercial airline. Those plans swiftly fell through when he visited an attorney and found he inherited a very precious gift; a very young baby boy. His childhood sweetheart says thank you but no thank you to helping raise a child. In one day he gained a baby boy and was dumped by his longtime girlfriend. Samantha has a job of helping retuning veterans in Trinity Falls. Helping Wolf was what she did. How can she help Wolf without falling in love with the precious baby as well? Her younger sister also seems to blossom with their relationship. I recommend you read their story.

Clara Pines has become one of my go to authors when I want a good feel, small town happy novel. Although this is a new series in Trinity Falls we have had the delight to read lots of books about Trinity Falls and all the wonderful and beautiful characters that have found their way into our hearts and have made us feel happy and excited about reading their stories and this one was no different. I loved Wolf and Samantha and her fun little sister Amelia and when Wolf is literally left holding his deceased best friend’s baby, Ezra, Samantha and Amelia do all they can to help him transition to this change in his life but they also become very important to Wolf. This was an especially beautiful and heart warming story that in certain parts broke my heart but really put a smile on my face.

Another amazing story from Clara! I loved Wolf and Samantha’s story! Wolf retires from the military and returns home for a quick trip that turns into so much more. He finds out his old friend has left him his baby after he and his wife passed in a car accident. He fell in love with little Ezra. His plans changed. Samantha works at the local veterans foundation and is raising her little sister Amelia. Samantha helps Wolf adjust to parenthood. Along the way they fell for each other. I loved watching Samantha’s sister Amelia with Ezra. It was love at first sight! They all made the perfect family! I loved the delightful. Heartwarming, small town Christmas romance! I think the Trinity Falls Sweet Romance- Home for Christmas series is going to be great!

This book exemplifies what Clara Pines does best (besides her lovely writing style), which is character development.  Every single character is so likable and fleshed out. Samantha is warm and friendly, and she loves to help people, so she's a perfect fit for the job at the Foundation.  It's great to see how close she is to her little sister.  Wolf is a big sweet guy who immediately takes to a little baby and reevaluates his priorities.  Sam and Wolf are just so sweet together. These two giving people really deserve each other. Of course, the baby and Sam's sister Amelia are delightful, along with Wolf's extended family. It's a story that leaves you feeling happy and optimistic.

5 Star review Soldier's Christmas Baby (Romance: Home For Christmas #1) by Clara Pines

From the first paragraph I was invested in Wolf Cassidy and Samantha’s story.

When he first sets eyes on baby Ezra, Wolf knows what he has to do and that melted my heart. He is a man on a mission and will do everything possible for the little baby who has stolen his heart.

Soldier's Christmas Baby ticked every box for me. It was a heart warming, well written, heart story that tugged at my heart strings.

My heart went out to Samantha and her little sister Amelia. A beautiful story that left me with a smile on my face.

New series by Clara Pines this one called Home for Christmas.
What a wonderful beginning to the new series. Transition from the service to civilian life is hard but add in an unexpected baby.
Samantha is fairly new to town and in charge of helping veterans get re-established in civilian life.
Wolf is newly out of the army and back for a short visit with family when he gets a Big surprise. His high school best friend and wife have died in an accident and left their baby son for Wolf to raise.
Wolf wants to stay but he’s a pilot, where can he find work in this small farming town?

I love instant connection stories, where characters are 'in tune with each other' without interminable explanations and expectations. Like pieces of a puzzle slotting into perfect place! This story is like that. A perfect match all around. Add to that good real life information plusa miracle or so, and voilá you have this lovely story! Loved “The most important things in life aren’t earned,”“We have to take them on faith, and enjoy every second.” Yes! Really appreciate that they don't waste time to get married, either. A big thank you for another awesome book.

This Is A Wonderful Story!

I really enjoyed reading Wolf’s and Sam’s story, how he came home to find he inherited his best friend’s baby, Ezra after his parent’s death. Samantha was trying to raise her little sister Amelia, while helping vets acclimated to being back home. Sam met with Wolf and offered to help him get used to taking care of Ezra. Amelia and Sam fell in love with Ezra and Wolf. This story is so amazing that once you start it you will not want to put it down!

Good story

A sister's parents are dead and she is raising her younger sister who is in 2nd grade. She's working as a veteran aid to help them adjust after serving their country.
One of her appointments is with a veteran who just learned that he was appointed guardian of his high school friend's baby. He has no idea how to care for a baby. The story tells of his solutions to learn & care for his baby.

This wonderful romance filled my heart to bursting. Wolf and Samantha are genuine, easy to care about characters that quickly have you wrapped up in their engaging story and fiercely rooting for them to get the happiness they deserve. A beautifully heartwarming and honest romance about life, love and the unexpected challenges that get tossed at you along the way.

I really enjoyed it.

Soldier’s Christmas Baby was a sweet story. Wolf being surprised by the addition of sweet Baby Ezra completely changed his life and plans. The surprise but welcome help of Samantha and her little sister Amelia is very tender and sweet, helping all of them. Clara Pines addressed Amelia’s health issues in a very thoughtful but practical way.

Great Read

Great Read, I love these books - you get romance at the finest - this one has the main character getting a baby because of an accident, then meeting what I'd call his true love along with her sister at the new veterans help location and from there it all about their journey to be a family.
