A very special thanks to the author who kindly allowed me to review another of her amazing books.
Immortal Greek is the second book in The Immortal series but can be read as a stand alone.
Alexander is a famous billionaire playboy but known by humans and immortals alike. At one of his famous parties an immortal boy is found dead. The only way to kill an immortal is with Immortal Dead. A rare mixture to find. Alexander comes under investigation and the Immortal Council sends Ravenna aka the Enforcer. Known for her tough attitude and even harder interior she makes sure everything is thoroughly done. The immortal is found to be a suicide but he isn't the only one. Alexander is asked to help with the case because if his connections. His involvement sets Ravenna on edge. As the sexual tension heats up so does the stakes. A terrible plan is revealed and Ravenna and Alexander struggle to stop it before it's too late and more than just a handful of people suffer. A deadly maze of mystery, lies, love and loss.
A sexy sequel. The characters each had their own personalities and were real and heartfelt. Ravenna is a sexy, independent woman who was always in control. When Alexander sets her off kilter she loses her perfect control and finds herself in new territory. Alexander is a sexy playboy who is known for his famous parties and of course his various women. What isn't in the papers is his kind and caring interior. Ravenna changes his world and soon he finds he can't stop thinking about her. The story was full of fun sexual tension between the characters. There was also a glimpse of previous characters so we could also see what was happening with them. The storyline kept you on your toes guessing what would happen next. Getting further pulled into the Immortal world, we were introduced to new characters and creatures. I can't wait for the next installment. Although I did enjoy the book, I will have to say that I enjoyed the first one better. There's just something about Marcus ;) but Alexander definitely is sexy and sweet. Fans of the first book will love the second as well.

I reviewed this book on behalf of KatsIndieBookBlog. Yet again I was completely blown away with Monica’s work. With this book you are thrown into the world of Alexander. That best way I can describe him would be a Greek God who thoroughly enjoying his time. Or is he truly? At one of his famous parties, a young immortal dies. Well since it’s nearly imposible to kill an immortal, Alexander is the first to blame. The council sends in the “Enforcer” known as Ravenna. Ravenna is one tough cookie who’s worried about taking care of business then love or lust. Mr. Playboy himself, Alexander, is doing his best to charm Ravenna but is it even working? Can Alexander drop his ways and settle down with just one? Can Ravenna drop her walls and actually fall in love with the Playboy? While all that is going on, can they work together to solve the problem of all the immortal deaths?
Once again I was in awe of Monica’s writing. I love how she puts my mind in the book and I can clearly see all these characters and places. Would I recommend this book? Of Course!! I’m even recommending the next book and it’s not even out yet!! I’m doing so because I know it’ll be just as great as the other books! Don’t miss out on one of the best series of this year, I promise it’s worth it!

I was lucky enough to get an Arc of The Immortal Greek, and I have to say - it was freaking awesome! I now have another book boyfriend to add to my already long list! In the first one I fell in love with Marcus, just a little, but wowzer in this book Alexander is soooooo HOT and I have a soft spot for Samuel too! I have never been to Rome but from the graphic descriptions and the way it is written it made me feel as if I could almost be there. From the small windy streets, to the traffic jams and not getting a parking space lol, to the little pizza place he takes Ravenna to - gosh she is one lucky woman! Monica, you've done a fantabulous job on this book and the only thing I have to say to u missy, is get writing - I want more! I'll be posting on the page when this goes live guys and I urge u all to buy it. Wonderful story, wonderful characters, some oooooozing sex appeal and the fallen Angel, Samuel, I would LOVE to spend some time with him - wink wink!!

Another great read from Monica. Very different from the Ginecean Chronicles which I loved. Once again I was enthralled in the story and just couldn't put it down. I love the style of Monica's writing, her description takes you right there. I felt the fears and worries and the love that the characters felt. I just want to read more and more of her books. Please keep them coming Monica. Your imagination is amazing.

Alexander Drako is handsome, famous, rich, Greek-born and one of the Immortals. Ravenna Del Sarto is an enforcer for the Immortal Council, focused on her career and has no time for rich, spoilt playboys. At a party at Alexander's house, a young immortal commits suicide by jumping off a balcony and Ravenna is sent to investigate. Can Alexander get past her walls or will he be charged with the death?

This was a lovely story with a lot of drama, danger and excitement. Well written and very enjoyable it gave a great insight into some of the politics in the world of paranormal residents in Rome.

I really enjoyed this second book in the series. You really get the feeling of being present in Rome and the atmosphere is created so well you almost feel as if you are there.
Well written and great characters and world building. Suspense, romance, sexy characters 'sall good, the author keeps you guessing on how the tale will develop and how each individual is affected.
Will download the next book now.

4.5 stars. This was leaps and bounds better than the first book. The story sucked me in right from the start and I had a hard time putting it down until I finished. There were a few things that I think could have been improved on or just left out completely like Alexander’s playroom. We see it, it’s mentioned, but never used so it seemed unnecessary to have it there to begin with, let alone continuing to reference it. But that’s my only complaint! Would definitely recommend.

I am not really a romance novel reader hence the four stars. It did keep my attention and if it was a movie I would rate it an R for sexual content. If you are into romance novels, than I would recommend it for you. The story is interesting and the characters are good.

*** Gifted in exchange for an honest review ***

OK I am a very slow girl, Thanks to the author for understanding that life sometimes gets in the way of schedules... My Reviewer Jenni read this book when it was first released since I was indisposed, but she said Do Keep it on your Review list, as you will not be sorry. So I kept these books on my TBR and bought book 1 in the sale last year ( review here
We are introduced to Alexander Drako in book 1, and other characters continue to interact in this book, Monica has done a great job in weaving these books into a story featuring a set couple but also keeping you interested in the subcharacters who are obviously going to appear in later books.

Alex has it all... handsome, famous, rich, and on the cover of every tabloid in Europe. - which you would think would be something that an Immortal would steer clear of, but he does it with class, he has been living the life every man dreams of, at least for the last two thousand years. ( Oh how every man would envy him!)
Then we have, Ravenna Del Sarto who is a modern career woman. An enforcer for the Immortal Council, she brings the bad guys of the paranormal world to justice. And she is certainly not interested in playboys.
At one of Alex's famous parties, a young immortal commits suicide and Ravenna is called to investigate the death.
Ravenna wants to pin it on him, but when she starts to investigate she soon realises that there is more to uncover, and the Council have decided that Alex should help her...
Alex has plans to get under the walls built around Ravenna's heart but with the investigation bringing more deaths and threats to her, will Alex get a chance or will Ravenna be taken before he can act on the unfamiliar feelings he is now experiencing.
Alex has only loved 2 women in his life, and he thought that he would never love another...
I hope you enjoy finding out if they manage to find their HEA.
This book has lots of twists and turns, friends turned foes... I literally finished this book and Jumped in to read Book 3 ( one of the great advantages of reading this when the series has a few books out!)
Monica has shown me with just 2 books that I was right to add more of her works, I will be fitting them into my reading schedule as soon as possible, as I just love her world of immortals that live in Rome... A place I have always wanted to visit!

I received an ARC copy of this OMG yummy and amazing and there are no words for this book!! From this very talented author Monica La Porta, in exchange for my honest opinion. This is my honest opinion of her book.
I started reading the book and it was a little slow. However- when Alexander and Ravenea started working together to solve the murder /death in his house the night of the party. It started getting hot!! See, Alex wanted her and she wants him but they fight the need. All the while they are trying to solve who is giving the immortals the gift of death. But , they end up having to work with a third partner. She is a were panther and Ravenea hates her as she stole her ex-finance along time ago; or so she thinks.
You need to read this book, really I mean it has so many twist in it. You don't know who the bad guys are. Does Alex and Ravenea get together?? Or do they meant there death?? Or does the were panther come between them?? Or does Alex stay a playboy ?? Do they find out who is giving out the Gift the death and stop??
All these questions are answered plus more. The characters are so colorful, and brought to life that you feel like you are right there beside them in the story. The scenes are colorful, and true to life also. Do to this I rate this book a 5 plus star rating and recommend that to everyone that you go get this book NOW!!! Ms. Monica you are truly talented and I am grateful that you allowed me to read your book. Thank you ever so much. This was my first book that I have read of this author, and I plan on reading more of her writings!! She is AWESOME!!!!
NOW GO GET THE BOOK !!!! IT'S ON AMAZON WAITING FOR YOU!!!

GREAT STORY IN A GREAT SERIES!

This is my first reading of Author, Monica La Porta. I have read the first book about Marcus and now this one about Alexander. I really enjoyed both books.

Ms. La Porta has the ability to blend action, adventure, suspense, mystery, romance and humor into a great read. The characters are well developed and fun to get to know. Each one will remind you of someone you know. There are immortals, shifters, and vampires and who knows what else may pop up in future books. I know that as of the time of my reading, there are 7 books in the series. I acquired my first three through Kindle Unlimited at Amazon. If you are a member, now is the time to introduce yourself to Ms. La Porta's books. The extra nice thing about her books is that she has not joined in on the erotica trend. So many paranormal authors seem to think that I want them to explain sex in minute detail and truthfully, I would rather imagine most of what goes on behind closed doors. Ms. La Porta just begins with some romantic interlude and gives me free reign to fill in my most romantic encounter. It makes it better for me than describing sex with pages and pages of sex going over the same thing again and again making sex the main plot. Thank you Ms. La Porta for giving me a great read without overdone porn.

I am happy to recommend this book and book one to readers of all ages that love paranormal romance. I am goin' forward to book three. I think you could read the books out of sequence and they would stand alone but you will enjoy them more if read in order written.

KUDOS Ms. La Porta on a tale well told.

After devouring The Lost Centurion I was eager to dive into The Immortal Greek. I was attracted to Alexander's character, wanted to follow his story, his view of life, after catching a glimpse of all of this while helping his friend Marcus. I can't say I am disappointed: Alexander just seems to be carefree and only interested in women and sexual relationships. It's only a cover. He was just waiting for the right woman to fall madly in love again. Ravenna arrogantly enters his life and takes hold of him from the beginning. And I let you imagine what happens...

I do have to say, though, that Ravenna becomes the main actress in the story and although not at all unpleasant, it is a little unexpected: La Porta's writing is usually very cohesive. I would have liked to delve more into Alexander, discover more about his past and his reasons to be the way he is, in the same way I enjoyed reading about Marcus' centennial life. Some other, minors non-sequiturs left me a little confused, but I had an ARC version, so they were probably due to this reason.

I still thoroughly enjoyed this book, its unexpected turns, the subtle strokes of Rome's life and chaotic traffic, the physical tension between the two main characters... waiting for her next creation!

Paranormal romance and murder mystery.

Alexander Drako a handsome playboy famous and rich and on the cover of every magazine tabloids. Meets Ravenna Del Sarto a modern career woman and enforcer for the immortal council she brings bad boys of the paranormal world to justice.
During one of Alexander's lavish end of the summer party a young immortal commits suicide by jumping off of Alexander's balcony and Ravenna is called by the council to investigate the Death.
After searching Alexander's house Ravenna finds some evidence and has Alexander goto the immortal council to state his case because she feels he's the number 1 suspect in the murder of the young immortal.
But, Samuel a fallen Angel vouches for Alexander and threw the two together to work on this case, as more murders starts to happen they are joined by a were-Panther to help find the killer that is poisoning all the immortals.
Ravenna gets attacked and it becomes personal can all of them find the killer before its to late and they die to? You must read the book and find out this is like the fourth book I've read from this author and it gets better with every book I love this series I recommend you start from the beginning of the series I started at the end and now want to catch up to know who's who.

The Immortal Greek is a sophisticated and sexy paranormal romance set in the Eternal City of Rome. It is the second book in the Immortal Series, but easily stands on it's own. Alexander Drako is an Immortal with a reputation as a millionaire playboy, his parties are the talk of the town and he is always being featured in the gossip magazines.

This year his famous party has had to move its date due to the Immortal Council's annual Gala, but the fun of the party ends when a young Immortal commits suicide. The Council call in The Enforcer, Ravenna Del Sarto to investigate the suicide and it appears he is a victim of The Immortal Death.

When several more bodies turn up Alexander and Ravenna must work together to find the person or persons behind the deaths.

This book entwines high class luxuries, fast cars, beautiful characters and deep passions in a wonderful setting. If you like your romance strong with a shot of heat like a favourite cup of Italian coffee, then this is for you.

Holy Mama, my darling Alexander, you make my heart flutter, I utterly, unconditionally adore him. What an amazing second book from The Immortals series. Where Marcus is intense and disciplined, Monica La Porta has given us the loveable and fascinating Alexander Drako. After watching our Roman Centurion fall in love and giving his all, we now can watch with bathed breath as his long time friend and mentor is drawn into a web of deceit, transforming him from a carefree, rich playboy to a sweet and committed lover. What a pleasure to have the opportunity to immerse myself in his world. Monica La Porta has struck gold again and with The Immortal Greek has wetted our appetite for more... The question now would be, can she surpass what she has already gifted us... The answer is Yes, Hell yes.....

I was lucky to have been given the opportunity to read this book in exchange for an honest review by the fabulous author. I absolutely LOVED this book! It had me hooked from the first page, and didn't leave me wanting. Such a fantastic read, full of passion, adventure and intrigue!
Alexander is sooooooo sexy! Ravenna is a badass Enforcer, for what amounts to a council who "polices" the Paranormals. She gets called in to investigate a suicide on the Greek Playboy Alexander's estate, at one of his free-for-all-anything-goes parties. They end up investigating the suicide and others, caused by a drug that allows Immortals and vampires to kill themselves. Will the Playboy change his ways for the Enforcer? Can she let him in and learn to let go if her need to control? One-click and find out- you won't be disappointed!!!

This is the story of Alexander Drako and Ravenna. She is the bad enforcer and Alex is an immortal who has lived for centuries. A suicide takes place at his home during a party and Ravenna has to investigate the incident that is happening more and more. Ravenna doesn't like the lifestyle that Alex lives and she shields her heart from getting hurt. While they investigate the problem together, their time together finds they are not as they seem to each other.
This is the second book I have read by Monica, and I love the way she writes and keeps you interested in finding out what is going on and the connection of the main characters. The sex scenes weren't overly detailed, just enough to get to the point.
You won't be disappointed in this book or the one before it. I can't wait to read the next one.

I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review and I sincerely thank author Monica La Porta for letting me read here awesome books. Her wonderful writing never disappoints.

Alexander was introduced to us in the last book in the Immortals Series (The Lost Centurion). He's an immortal playboy that famous in all circles, mortal and immortal. When a young immortal dies at one of his famous parties Ravenea is sent to look into it.

An awesome mystery complete with a hot attraction between Alexander and Ravenea. Full of intrigue, fast cars, and hot scenes this book has a little of everything. As with all La Porta's writing, the flow is perfect and the energy between the characters is magic. I certainly look forward to more of this series.

Alexander Drako is a playboy immortal who throws regular bacchanal parties. When a guest kills himself at his latest party, enforcer Ravenna del Sarto is called in to investigate. Initially she can't stand Alexander, but as they work together to discover who is providing the Immortal Death potion that is allowing the immortals to kill themselves, they find they are attracted to one another. This was a very interesting story set in Rome, but I wish I had started with the first book in the series as it seems some of the characters carry over. I did like Alexander, and Ravenna and Malina's stories were so interesting. History and Rome geography as well as plenty of different types of paranormals kept my interest in this book!

Absolutely loved this book, the chemistry between Alexander and Ravenna is hot, well he is a charmer and a playboy after all, but will Ravenna fall for his whilst dealing with everything that is happening around them. Will they be able to stop the plan that's been set in motion, you will have to purchase to find out. I love how Ravenna is a powerful, strong independent woman who makes Alexander work for what he wants. This book will have you hooked straight away, it's got twist, turns, love, passion and anger.
Exceptionally written and I will certainly recommend it

The second in the Immortal series. This immortal Greek is a highly known playboy who loves playing the love game. He hasn't found his soulmate but is about to be surprised. Ravenna is an enforcer and by happenstance meets the eligible playboy and wow is he smitten. This is his saga, and of course Marcus makes numerous appearances as does introduction to more characters. Again we are still seeking mysterious issues cropping up. Ravenna actually tames the playboy. Great plot. Fabulous character development. Can't wait for the next book.

Hey. OK so life got in the way of me finishing The Immortal Greek in a short amount of time but I finished it finally. I love it. I felt like I knew what the city, houses, and landscape looked like. I hope to go there someday. Alexander was awesome. I expect to see Ravenna and Alexander in the playroom but the sex was hot without the playroom. The ending was great. I was wondering if Ravenna would do what was necessary. I'm glad she did. I truly enjoyed!

Could be a better book

Not a bad book to read. The main problem with this book is the author needs to develop his characters. No where in this book are we told how they became immortal. Not a good or bad book but it can definitely be made a lot better by simple character and plot development.

Great....

I'm not sure if I liked this book or the first more! They both were awesome! A very interesting story about immortals and the life they led. The plot was very interesting and as with the first story you find handsome, hot alpha men and the women they love. The story line was interesting as was the characters. A must read! Love this authors work.
