A cunning fox. A silver wolf. In a game of debts and deception, who will be the Hunter—and who will be the prey?

Twenty-year-old Ember is ready for a new start but unsure where to land. As she drives through the wooded town of Dayton, she’s so distracted by the greenery around her that she completely misses the shiny black Porsche parked on the side of the road just around a bend. The now totaled car belongs to Grimm, a devastatingly attractive and terrifying man in his forties. He’s furious and demands she repay him for the damages. Ember doesn’t have a dollar to her name and now is without her only form of transportation or lodging.

Through his anger, Grimm finds an ounce of empathy, offering her to stay at a cottage on his property and work for him while she repays her debts. She agrees and finds herself thrust into a new and complicated living situation.

Grimm isn’t just a charming silver fox. He’s the Minister of a werewolf pack. He attempts to hide the truth about himself and his budding feelings for his new houseguest, but nothing can stay in the dark for long.

Ember has some secrets of her own. Maybe her mistakes weren’t as accidental as they seemed, and maybe she’s not as innocent as she looks.

The two find themselves forced to face their past prejudices, fears, and primal needs, thrusting them closer and closer together until the fire inside burns everything in its path.

Bound to the Wolf can be enjoyed as a continuation of The Wolfish Love Stories or as a stand-alone.

Bound To The Wolf - A Grimm Love Story - By - G.M. Fairy

Bound to the wolf can be read as a standalone or as a continuation of The Wolfish Love Stories Series. I hadn't read the first couple of books but I was still able to follow the story line and when other characters appeared it still all fell in to place for me to follow. This is the story of Ember, a young twenty year old innocent were who has been brought up that shifters are bad and unpredictable, she is ashamed of what she is and capable of. So when she leaves home she doesn't expect to run into the Minister of the werewolf pack in Dayton, Grimm or to experience such new and unfamiliar feelings within herself or her werefox. Secrets held close threaten to tear these two apart before they can even recognise their mate bond or the possible future and acceptance wuth ine another that they could share. This is an enjoyable shifter romance featuring an age gap relationship between a wolf and fox shifter. It held a steady pace throughout and gave us the HEA that this couple rightfully deserved. It wasn't my favourite story ftom this author as the female character irritated me at times as she was clever in some ways but the ungratefulness and moody tones were not what I expected. Happy Reading.
Please note that the author does provide a list of trigger warnings on her website as this story may not be suitable for all readers.
Please note that I was given an arc of this book for my honest review which is exactly what I have given.

These books are such bite sized fun!!! It’s always a fun cast of characters both old and new. This time we meet the silver fox (pun intended) Grimm who definitely caught my attention more than in any of the other books. It’s always nice to revisit Red and Cameron too. I can’t wait to see who’s next!

So I very much enjoyed this book. Grimm is a werewolf who is the boss man and minister of his section. He is a man trying to keep his people safe from hunters. These hunters are people who seek out the different wears and kidnap them or kill them. Grimm works with the law to keep all the killings to a minimum and to right wrongs that he has done. Within his pack . That was until a wreck of a woman smashes into his new car.

Ember is a runaway 20 year old who has something to prove. She tried to show her family that she is of use and can do a good of a job as anyone else. But Ember has secrets. These secrets are what is going to get her in trouble. But as she crashes into a car her life is about to take a crazy turn. With the crash she finds she is in deep and all her secrets are about to come to the surface.

As Grimm and Embers relationship grows you wonder was she in the right place at the right time. Were they destined to find each other? I think so.. as they grow he find out who she really is but also find out WHO SHE REALLY IS!!

It’s beautiful how they grow. How they fall in love how they figure it out. I enjoyed feeling her feelings along with Grim and the rest of his people as they go thru there hardships. It was easy to get lost in this book. It was a nice read just the right amount of heat for the book.

Bound by the Wolf can be read as a standalone or part of The Wolfish Love Stories. Cameron plays a small role in throwing Ember and Grimm together, he just can't help himself.

The story opens with Grimm, who already has more than enough on his plate as the Minister of the Werewolf pack in Deyton, taking on Ember a young new to the world temptation. From the beginning, the weight of leadership, expectation, and tradition hangs heavily over him.

The author uses creative twists to explore this tension, embracing the animal nature of the weres rather than softening or romanticizing it. Although the book is marked as a romance, it’s really much more than that. At its core, this is a story about acceptance. Learning to live with, and eventually love, the parts of ourselves we’ve been taught to see as unloveable, flawed or deformed. The romance works because it grows out of that journey, not because it replaces it.

"You’ll likely find that Grimm will become something like a father to you. He is to the rest of us.”

This story follows Ember, ready for a new start. As she’s distracted driving through Dayton she hits Grimm ‘s fancy new car. Having no money, no insurance she has no choice but to work it off as his assistant. Not knowing he is the minister of the local werewolf pack.

A short sweet but spicy romance story that not only explores their supernatural relationship but also we get to read about Ember learning about herself, learning to accept and even embrace what makes her different. These two together was everything. 20 year age gap, enemies to lovers and work-place romance.

I love this series. Could totally be read as a standalone but would HIGHLY recommend you go back and read the first two books. Really enjoyed how the couples from the previous books made an appearance. My only complaint was that it wasn’t longer, could’ve read so much more from this couple.

Thanks to G.M. Fairy and BookSirens for the ARC.

Bound to the Wolf by G.M. Fairy is an enthralling, darkly romantic tale that had me completely captivated from start to finish. From the very first page, I was pulled into a world brimming with danger, passion, and supernatural intrigue. G.M. Fairy expertly blends suspense, romance, and shapeshifter lore into a story that feels both thrilling and deeply emotional.

The characters are complex, fierce, and unforgettable. The protagonist’s struggles, strength, and vulnerability make them incredibly relatable, while the romance is intense, passionate, and layered with tension that keeps you on the edge of your seat. The dynamic between the leads is electric, balancing danger, desire, and emotional depth perfectly.

The pacing is flawless, moving seamlessly between suspenseful action, tender moments, and heart-stopping twists. Themes of loyalty, trust, and identity are explored with nuance, giving the story both emotional weight and thrilling momentum.

I read this book as a standalone before I was able to read the prior stories in the series. Even so I loved that characters from the previous book appeared, one of my favorite things to see across a series. I thoroughly enjoyed the Age-gap dynamic, nothing sexier then salt and pepper hair. As always GM Fairy writes captivating sex scenes and creative plot lines. It was an easy and quick read, which is my only negative regarding the book! I just wish it was a tad longer and drawn out, I would have killed for more on the charcters just when I was falling in love it was ending! If you want a quick HEA this book is for you. If you want a lengthy and edging plot it might not fit your fancy but its still worth a read for our monster loving girlies ♡

Thank you Book Sirens, the publisher and the author for providing this arc!
3.5 Stars

This series is very dear to me, so I’m a little sad this is the last one. I’ve had a really good time with it overall, even if I wish we had gone deeper with the characters.
The book felt short. Like… too short. Especially when it comes to Ember. I really wanted more from her. More backstory, more emotions, more time to actually sit with her character. It felt like there was room to explore and we just… didn’t.

That said, I still enjoyed it. It was fun, it was entertaining, and I flew through it. The spice was good, no complaints there.
Did I love the age gap? Not really.
Did it ruin the book for me? Also no. It is what it is.

A satisfying story. While this is a romance and marketed as such, it’s also a story about acceptance—learning to love the parts of ourselves we find ugly. This was a super quick read with a nice pace. The romance was sweet and, while nothing groundbreaking, it still tugged at the heartstrings. There is some spice and other adult themes, so be sure to check the content warnings if you’re hoping to avoid those things. Overall, this was a good read, and if you loved the other books in this series, I’m certain you’ll enjoy this one too.

I really enjoy G.M's works.

This one is no different, though I did think the beginning went a little slow for me. As you progress throughout the book though it picks up and gets more interesting. Super spicey as always and a good take on shifter/werewolf romances. I would be interested in any future writing that pertains to the same world. Don't want to say too much as this is a novella and picks up pretty quickly in the second half.

***I was honored to have read this as an ARC through book sirens. These thoughts and feelings are my own. ***

I am so happy to have another book from G.M. I love her books so much. This is the third book in The Wolfish Love Story series, but they can be read as standalones. I loved seeing the cameos from the other characters. This book is a shorter read and I wish it was longer. Give me a book with knotting any day of the week.
Tropes-
-Grimm fairytale retelling
-werewolves
-knotting
-age gap

Another great werewolf/wereanimal romance from G.M Fairy!

I enjoyed the build up and tension in this story. As the pack is facing some public backlash and threats from Hunters, Grimm is also focused on his new secretary, Ember. It was a beautiful age gap romance packed with tension.

This was a quick read, but full of the G.M. Fairy charm we know and love.

I throughly enjoyed reading this since this isn't my go to trope. I love the character growth of Ember, I was glad she could shed her old self and come into her new self, feeling more aware and loved. She desperately needed it. Age gap bring it on, it was just enough to be "forbidden" but not overly done.

Yay! More stories from our favorite were community! A story not only of love and mates(!) but also, of learning to accept ourselves as we are and appreciate our uniqueness. And of course, a few cameos from our OG couple Cameron and Red!
