Ian was the wild boy every girl dreams of, a renegade who thrived on breaking the law and setting Savi’s body on fire. It was all fun and games and hot excitement, no strings attached, until the one day he got serious—and then disappeared without a trace.

Savi has spent the ten years since committing herself to her work, her daughter, and to not thinking about Ian—or love.

A heartbreaking, bittersweet love triangle. Flawlessly written and going through a gamut of emotions.
“It’s about moving on and living. Recognizing the past as the beautiful thing it was, but not letting it stifle you from seeing the future.”

Savana, now 43 years old has spent the last decade trying to concentrate on her daughter and job. Never looking for love and when she’s finally found a guy that makes her act like a teenager, her past flame

I had very mixed feelings on how to rate this book. Its filled with emotional drama, angst, humor and romance makes it a fantastic read that kept me turning the pages. But there are some cheating involved in this book. And i have big issues with it! We start out with a vet guy that is oh so yummy and sweet, that I really like im rooting for you Duncan! The heroine surprised me! I'm expecting a stubborn, dumb,

I tried. Oh, I tried. I tried about three times to get through this book. But when I start to dread opening up my Kindle, I know it's time to move on. I'm sorry to say that I just couldn't finish this one.

I was almost 50% of the way through the book and I still wasn't interested enough to keep going. I can't honestly pinpoint exactly what turned me off though. The characters were interesting enough and the setting

OKAY so I stink at life and totally missed this one releasing August 22nd. I got the book August 18th and I planned my life around reading some ARCs and then work came and made me work my butt off and I feel bad so I am starting this bad boy today.. (I even took time off work to ensure it doesn’t happen again)

The books premise is about first loves(Ian) current loves(Duncan) and what that means for the future.(???!?!?!?!)

Well... this is not an easy review to write because Don't Let Go is still my TOP favorite book of the year by this author. I was all giddy and excited to dive into another one of her books... but, I have to be honest... I just was not a fan of this one.
I didn't care for Savi... for a woman in her forties, her behavior was often very juvenile. I absolutely did not care for her young adult love interest Ian. The dynamics of their relationship was just unappealing to me personally. They made a

I would have given this book four stars but this book contains cheating, and that is a hard limit for me. This book starts off with Savannah and Ian. Ian and Savannah declared their love for each other but the next day Sav walks in on him being ridden by some red head. He leaves town for years only to come back to help with the family business. It took years for Sav to get over Ian but one look at him and all her feelings start to come alive again. Not sure

This was my second novel by this author and I truly think Sharla Lovelace has became my go-to author if I want to read a romance with feelings!

I had a funny "relationship" with Stay With Me. It really sucked me into the story from page one, but as I saw the storyline unfold I thought it will be nothing original .

It seems the author loves the second chance love stories where the hero comes back into the heroine's life after years - in this case ten years. (This was a bit similar to Don't Let

My Review:
I've made no secret about my love for Sharla Lovelace's writing over the last year or so. Since I discovered her, I've devoured her books. This one follows a similar path as the others and since I've loved the others, I really enjoyed this one too. But I will tell you up front...I guessed wrong on this one.

This book features a love triangle and an unusual heroine. Savi grew up doing all the wrong things with the bad-boy, Ian. They were constantly in trouble and breaking all the rules

I thought this would be a quick and easy romantic read but what I found was trash.

Savanna or Savi is a forty-three year old woman. She has a grown daughter that lives out of town. But Savi finds herself on a mission. To get noticed by the town veterinarian, Duncan Spoon. "I haven't been that physically affected by a man since - ugh - since he who shall not be named left town."

That man who wasn't to be named is Ian McMasters. He is a boy that Savanna grew up with and grew to have a relationship

This was my first book to read by Ms. Lovelace and will certainly not be my last. What an unexpected delight! Well written, amazing characters, suspense and romance...everything a good book should have and more. Stay With Me was completely captivating and I enjoyed every moment.

So what's it about?

Savanna (Savi) is a grown woman, taking care of her daughter and concentrating on her work. It has been 11 years since she has let any man into her life after her childhood boyfriend left town and

All I can say about STAY WITH ME by Sharla Lovelace is...WOW! This was a really good book. I have been totally absorbed in it since the first page. Savi Barnes is a kick-butt heroine. I loved her. I loved her attitude and personality. She was her own person, and took no prisoners. She owned her mistakes and embraced the lessons she learned from them. Ian was a sexy bad boy that Savi had been in love with for many years. He had betrayed her and she hadn't seen him in over ten years...and

Oh, goodness. I don't know where to start. These are the reviews I hate to do. I know as an author you put so much of yourself into your work. But, I was also asked for an honest review so here it is.

This is the first book I've read by Sharla Lovelace. I liked her technical writing style. The way the book flowed and the way she compiled her sentences and paragraphs made the book very easy to read.

My biggest issue however was that I was never invested in the book. I was never intrigued

This is a story of second chances and finding the right kind of love.

Savi has had a great love, explosive and all consuming. Until he left her. Her daughter has grown up and moved out and Savi starts to think about her love life again. She can't resist the local vet,Duncan, and after an embarrassing amount of fake check-ups for her dog, she asks him out.

Duncan is so sweet and sexy. He's kind of the perfect guy so its really easy to see how Savi falls for him. Of course nothing can be

Stay With Me is the first book that I read by Sharla Lovelace.
Although I was intrigued to read Don't Let Go by her as it was receiving some really amazing reviews but I came across this book on Netgalley and just my luck that I got approved obviously in exchange for an honest review.

Stay With Me..definitely with it's cover and the blurb made me pick the book and I can say I wasn't disappointed if not satisfied with my read.

I really liked this book. This is the second Sharla Lovelace book to be set in Copper Falls, Texas. In fact the heroine of Don't Let Go makes a very brief cameo, as do a few other characters (blink and you'll miss them). Once again we have a story that includes a lost love who disappeared for years and now has suddenly returned. When I read this plot point I was disappointed, thinking the author was just rehashing the old plot. But no! Even given the same Texas town and same landmarks, this is a ...more

This book was alright I didn't really dig the love triangle aspect, I seriously dislike love triangles but books set in Texas are my weakness so of course I read the book. I loved how Savi was a firm woman and had a backbone, "he tells me about you, then gets pi**ed off when I defend you," I said. "You tell me about him, and get ticked that I'm defending him. S***, Duncan, I don't just accept things blindly, I find out

There are not enough adjectives to describe how much I LOVED this book. It was suspenseful and loving and romantic and heart breaking and so much more. Savi has to decide between an old love and new one and that is only the beginning. There are so many layers to this book that it will leave your head spinning. I read all night to see who she would choose because even I had a hard time deciding who was a better choice. Get ready to read all night with this one but it is well worth the loss of ...more

Aargh...I hate these reviews because I never quite know how to go about it. First, the book was written with a good ebb and flow...some mystery, some drama, some humor but it felt like there was this dark cloud hanging over it throughout the whole story arc. And it felt oppressive. Then I couldn't decide who to root for - Ian? Duncan? Savi felt too wishy washy, left me feeling like "what is the attraction to that girl?". I

I'm a big Sharla Lovelace fan. But this book disappointed me. It didn't keep my attention and I had no desire to finish it. But I'm not a quitter. I will say that this book wasn't predictable at all. I never would have guessed how it ended. And I am happy with the ending. But it just didn't do it for me.

I didn’t read Don't Let Go from Sharla Lovelace, so I can’t really compare stories. However, what I could notice with this book is that she has the ability to stir emotions in the readers like few authors can. If I made a list of all of them, you’d think I’m crazy (which is not very far from the truth).

Ok, I can do it!

I really don’t know how to describe this book. Ok let’s take a look at the characters.

Savanna, or Savi as her friends call her she is the main character. Let me describe this girl.

She is a reformed bad girl. I have to say I’m not sure I would want to be a reformed bad girl. Oh who am I kidding, my bad girl and her bad girl are not even from the same planet. My bad girl means not flushing the toilet. Hers is breaking and entering and stealing stuff. She reformed herself

Savi Barnes is a mature woman. She has raised a daughter, runs a business,, and has a close knit supportive family. But her world is about to rocked by two men. Bachelor number one is the handsome, charming town vet, Duncan Spoon. Duncan is new, exciting, charismatic, and stable.

And yet I got sweaty palms and heart palpitations every time I saw Duncan Spoon. I hadn't been that physically affected by a man since--ugh--since he who shall not be named left town.

This was the second book I read from sharla Lovelace and I love love love "Dont Let Go" so I was so enthusiastic to read this but unfortunately it did not have the same result on me.

I love second chance at love and I love that Sharla wrote it where the characters were at their early 40s. It gives me some sense of hope that you can still find true love at this age .

What are my issues here:

The heroine Savi pissed me off. The heroine act and think like she was in her early 20s, , I found it

Stay With Me hit me in a way I was not expecting. After seeing rave reviews for Don’t Let Go, I was intrigued by this author’s writing and when the chance to review Stay With Me came up, I took it. I was expecting a great romance, what I got that was unexpected was a little bit of suspense and those secrets that started coming out absolutely made this book for me.

Savanna “Savi” Barnes loves her home, her family, and her job. Running an antique store with her father, she also works

Stay with Me was my first Sharla Lovelace novel. I’d seen a lot of hype around her and her book Don’t Let Go lately and I’ve been anxious to read it. But when I saw that she had a novel available as an ARC, I decided to take a shot with it.

So, now that I’ve finished? The answer is not a simple one, because I have no idea how I feel! This book was so solid from the beginning. I was certain from very early on that I had a 5 star on my hands, and then… the ending came. Don’t get me wrong, the story
