Fun fact - I read this on the reg as a kiddo in the 90s, and was today years old when I realized that the lovely Lily in question is Lily Vonnegut, Kurt's adopted daughter. Jill Krementz is a famous photographer - known for her poet and artist portraits - and was the love of Vonnegut's life. None of these lead-painted, sharp-ended, giant metal contraptions would grace a modern playground, so thumbing through this book will definitely give you a solid dose of nostalgia.

It good for baby as a night time book. I give the book a go three because I'm 14 and I really care about that sort of stuff, but its still a good book. It tell you what to expect when you go to the playground

It is a good book. It is about a girl named Lily that goes to the playground. She goes on the slide, and she tries to go up the slide with out going up the stairs. Lily and her friend Jack makes a sand castle and take turns wrecking them.

a 1986 board book that reminds me of a Sesame Street vignette. It shows Lily going to the playground and playing on the equipment and with other kids. A good beginner book for the littles.
