The Rebel

Mya Washington is a rebel. Or at least, that’s what her family has always said. As the youngest of a set of triplets, she has always been the more rebellious of the three…even though she never considered herself a rebel.

Outspoken? Yes.

Rule Breaker? Sometimes.

Trouble Maker? Nev—occasionally.

Growing tired of being typecast and misunderstood, Mya moves to New York

5 stars! This was a fun read! I loved Mya's fiesty attitude. It's rare for me to find a female book lead who doesn't make me want to slap her. I thought she was awesome! Confident and sexy. While she had issues and insecurities, she quickly owned up to them and did what she need to do to make things right. It takes a strong person to admit that you've made a mistake, especially after what she'd done.

Now let's talk about Colton!

Love Discovered in New York left me a bit more on edge than its sister companions. This is mostly due to the "rebel" sister, Mya. Mya was a frustrating character at times, handling her father's issues her own way, but in the process she was really hurting herself. She had a lot to overcome and walls to break down. But there is also something very appealing about her, hence why Colton can't stay away. Colton was fantastic. He was the perfect match for Mya, a combination of patience and sternness. ...more

I received the book from the touring host for an honest review.

This is book 1 in the Washington Triplets Series, and a story I enjoyed reading. It was fast paced, well written with strong characters that kept you entertained.
Mya Washington is the very first triplet we meet, working as a bar tender she is known as a rebel in her family. This young woman has also some fears to work through, but as they say: the truth will set you free, and in her case it was definitely true.

I loved this book because each and every character is so well thought out. They each are special to the story and described perfectly but I'll stick to the main ones. Ha ha

Mya is an independent, open minded, triplet. I really enjoyed her because she reminds me of myself a bit. Shes spunky and doesn't stand for any bull.

Colton is a sexy, tattooed, entrepreneur. I was hooked from the first moment Mya laid eyes on him. Yummmm.. I loved him because he was sexy, alpha (not too alpha), and passionate.

This book was great. There wasn't a ton of drama which is Actually expected when that girl started at the bar. Colton was a great character and Mya was cute. She was secure in all aspects except for relationships. Which I actually liked. I liked that Colton knew what he wanted and went for it and still gave Mya her own space and time to figure things out. This really was a good YA book for me sometimes they really frustrate me but this was a good book. I am looking forward to the next two books ...more

I have to say that I was trying to find something negative in this story because it is difficult for me to give an adult contemporary story 5 stars. It happens with YA's but Adult? That is very rare. There is always something I absolutely don't like but with this one? I couldn't find a negative thing.

I started with Mya—a woman who isn't afraid to speak her mind whenever she wants and is the rebel of the three triplets. She works as a bartender at Dukes &am

This is my first book by Danielle Allen. It def won't be my last!! This is the first novella in the series. It's about The Washington sisters. They are triplets and Mya is the youngest of the 3 of them. This is a great start to what I'm pretty sure is going to be a fantastic series.

Mya is the wild one, the one who takes no crap from anyone, she's not afraid to put you in your place. And, she doesn't do relationships! Mya reminds me a lot of myself. Mya has always fel

It was an honor to get the chance to read this one before it released and I failed by not reading it on time, I'm a horrible friend, Danielle! But I love you and please forgive me.

Ever since I've read Danielle's Back to Life series, I knew I'd be her fan for life. And learning that she had more books in the work, I got ecstatic for what was to come.

I've been pretty eager to read the story of Mya and Colton in Love Discovered in New York. And I must say that Danielle delivered again, she never fa

I received this book from the Author for an honest review.

This is the first book in the Washington Triplets Series. This was also my first book of Danielle Allen and I was not disappointed. Mya Washington is a very strong, confident, sassy woman and held her own when it came to the hot, sexy, alpha male Colton Davis that was on a mission. These two personalities were great together and the chemistry was amazing.

Out of the triplets Mya was the misunderstood one. Everyone pegged her as the rebel

Danielle has done it again!! She has made me complete fall in love with her characters, I did not get enough Colton and Mya. This book is different from the other books she has written. It is a lot hotter. The connection between the characters is undeniable. The chemistry was smoking hot. If it was a paperback the pages would be on fire!!!

Its very rare when I can find an author who writes books that put me in my comfort zone. I am so glad I stumbled onto Danielle Allen.

There is something about Mya that I can identify with. I love to read a book and feel like someone has taken parts of my personality and put them in the main character (even though, I know that isn't the case).

I do love Mya. She is just this outspoken, do what you want to do badass. More than that, I can fully understand her feelings of be

I found out from another author about these books about these triplets. I found it interesting that each one would be written by a different author. I am so happy I got this book.

Mya is the youngest of the the triplets and I LOVE her attitude. She's been living in NYC (where I was born and raised and currently a plus for that one ;)) for 2 years. Triplets! I loved the idea of three stories, by three authors, following three sisters during a tumultuous time in their lives…. And it all begins with Danielle Allen’s Love Discovered in New York.

Mya Washington, the “wild one” of the triplet sisters, fled to New York after college to get a fresh start and escape the shadow of her (slightly) older sisters.

After a shocking wedding invite from her recently widowed father leaves her reeling, Mya vows to never be vulnerable to a man. But when she m

Mya Washington is the youngest of the Washington triplets. She has been described as the rebel, never being compliant like her two sisters. After graduating college, Mya packed up and moved to New York leaving her family in Chicago. Her parents didn’t approve, they also didn’t approve of her tattoo’s or her career goals. She’s a bartender and it supports her so who cares. After her mother’s sudden death and her father’s even more sudden engagement, Mya is ready to write the family off. On top of ...more

Everything that I've read from Danielle Allen have always been amazing and she has done it again with Love Discovered in New York, the first book of The Washington Triplet Series.

Can I just say how much I loved Mya Washington? Sassy, confident, with a little bit of attitude and a hint of vulnerability, she was probably one of my favorite characters to read because she reminded me of myself.

Oh girl!!!

You had no clue what hit you and I absolutely loved watching you fall.

Freaking COLTON DAVIS... this man came into your life when you needed him. Best part, you didn't think you needed him. You fought him, you fought yourself. The image you portrayed came crumbling down when he read you like a book. Watching the whole show was fantastic.

Danielle Allen, has an AMAZING book here. We meet Mya a triplet a self declared Black Sheep. She's tough and she doesn't need a man.

This is a quick read, but it does have a lot packed into its pages.

Mya is the rebellious triplet, she knows her own mind and is not going to be swayed at all.

Along comes Colton who is intrigued by Mya as soon as he sees her across a bar. Thus starts a sequence of events which will change both their lives forever.

What a great book. I really love Mya. I felt drawn to her on page one. She is strong and reminds me so much of my sister. I am a twin and I felt for her and her distance from her sisters. I know what a bond like that is. I really felt the pain. Then there is Colton!!! Oh, that man can have me anytime. I wanted to kick Mya when she walked away from him. What was she thinking. With all the HOT sex scenes and demanding words that rolled off of Colton's tongue, there was still a story to unfold. Danielle is an outstanding job of showing a character that could face her fears and may

Fighting too many demons to count Mya makes a choice that not only effects her life but the ones of the peoole who love her. There is nothing wrong with questioning things when they seem to good to be true but to make yourself miserable it's just too much. I was too vested in plot too do anything else.
