This series is quickly becoming my favourite after Jordan Eddington and Brookes. The author simply takes you into a completely different world full of intrigue suspense and passion. Her attention to detail is excellent and her characters draw you in. I could not put this book down and now I'm going to read 1 through 3 again to enjoy in a straight run. This piece of writing or indeed series is not a piece of fluff it's serious fantasy and I would have no hesitation in recommending this extremely ...more

I honestly didn't think this series could get any better after the last book.... Boy was I wrong!!
YOU MUST READ FIRST TWO BOOKS TO GET THE FULL EXPERIENCE!! YOU CAN THANK ME LATER!!

We meet Elisavet in this book. Unfortunately she is attacked by a rogue vampire. She should have died but somehow she became something that isn't supposed to happen.

Manias is the President or Spokesman of the Vampire Clan. He handles all the controversy and human relations. Of course he is the first

First, let me note that you MUST read these books in order. I cannot express how much better of a reading experience you will get when you read the series in full, properly in order.

In the first couple of books a lot of the focus is on the shifters of the Shadow community, though we've gotten to see a bit of the happenings of the Fae world, and the vampires, they have not been a direct focus. That changes greatly with this book. Manias is what you would call the President of the vampire communi

I love going to visit World in Shadows. There is such a great build up of the story that continues from book to book that is hard to resist. The characters are so dynamic and developed. While each book has its own story, they also add a new layer and progression to the overall series.

Elisavet is the first of her kind in hundreds of years. Her change is dramatic and the shock waves travel well beyond her family. The world is outraged than a human can be changed and this could be devas

Belong to the Night starts out with a bang and never slows. They mystery that is edge of your seat addictive. How did Elisavet get turned? Who's the mysterious killer who wants to take over the Vampire Hierarchy? Elisavet is determined to find out. Manias and Elisavet's chemistry is electric. They work together to find out "whodunnit". I enjoyed the banter between Elisavet and her guards Joao and Lorcan. Comedic relief they are. If you are looking for a paranormal romantic suspense look no furth ...more

I received a complimentary copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Belong to the Night is book three in Blackwood’s World in Shadows series. World in Shadows chronicles the lives of paranormal characters learning to live alongside human beings after their worldwide discovery. Often in this series, humans are the real monsters, not the vampires, werewolves, and fae. The results of inhumane scientific experimentation on imprisoned paranormals continues to wreak havoc on the

Absolutely love this book!!

Bridget Blackwood is an amazing author, who draws you in to her world's...while this book is about Manias and Elisavet, she does a wonderful job of updating on all of the characters up to this point.

If you haven't read the first books in this series I recommend reading them first, but if you start with this book it will definitely make you want to start from the beginning and re-read this one.

Manias is a loving man who has to hide that in service of all the preter

Bridget Blackwood is an East Texas native living in Dallas with her husband, three children, and a menagerie of pets. She is a self proclaimed horror movie addict and an avid reader with a voracious appetite for romance of all kinds. Her paranormal series, World in Shadows, started as a what-if daydream scenario. Loud, demanding characters keep pushing her to write more.
