What a naive heroine Miss HALA el Wafi is,he defeated her even before the game started "Black suits you” card accompanied with a purple tulip bouquet immediately inflicted her.She didn't fight at all as the author pictured her ,she has nothing of a so called a “strong personality”.Tulip bouquet after another ,then a meeting from an airport to another,from a city to another and between them she is losing herself respect ,only excuse for her according to ALHAM Mosteghanimi that she didn't give it ...more
i liike every quote in this novel !
What I mostly liked about this book is that its so quotable. Like in every page you could find a couple of quotes that you would absolutely love. But what I didn't like is that its full of unimportant details the writer could've just skipped.

Well, I'm not that interested person to pure romantic stuff, but away from the story I'd like to say
with every single story we think that it's unique event happening to us, but the fact says we are all the same, so I'm happy for a moment to realize I'm not alone with this shit and many ppl experienced the same suffering.

it was kinda strange novel !! since i saw how blindly she trusted him ,i was so eager to know what happens to her at the end but got disappointed at the end ,,but there was some points in the novel i liked for example ,how she described algeria's situation which i was surprised about it ,,also i chose some meaningful quotes which are 100%true ! المال لايجلب السعادة لكن يسمح لنا أن نعيش تعاستنا برفاهية

so sensational ... well written in great ARABIC terms .... delicate words... even the great Quotes in between ..and the fascinating story of course ...well described areas as if u visit them.. even well described music as if u hear it...and a brief interesting historical and geographical review of Aures mountains area and the circumstances that somehow mimic what`s happening now in egypt and ... i adore the depart finale

That book was really really good, it was more than just a love story to me, it has too many other cases to point to, spectacular way of writing, she picked the words carefully, yet it wasn't boring at all, there was a great moral behind every romantic/love moment .. the book makes you think about the secret behind each word and it helped me a lot, so i really recommend it. A very entertaining novel including many wise saying about love which can be breathtaking however the plot becomes predectable at a certain point The love story between Hala and Talal is controlled by Talal who gives her his time when possible he takes the decisions while she who faced terrorists isn't able to take an initiative... the novel is certainly worth reading

All four stars for her Amazing way of writing .. her words are really wonderful , the way she describes feelings, Man's pride and complicated self manner .

This book leaves me confused.. There was no storyline and the characters werent interesting whatsoever. (Arab authors-w/o generalizing-need to develop better and more creative storylines). However, her language was absolutely flawless, rich, and beautiful.
