Loved this book in the series as I did the previous 5. In case everyone doesn't know yet, these are NOT stand alone books so start with number one. I highly recommend this series even if fantasy isn't your preferred genre. I predict you will love them too.

3.5 Stars. Received this book in the mail to read and review for NERFA, (hope it's allowed I put it here on GR while I read...)
Not typically one to read a series out of order, I will give it a go though! Hope I'm not too lost :o
Finished. It was odd, but not bad. When I first started, I was like... What is this!? But then I got into the story, found myself pretty well interested, and by the end I liked it much more than I thought I would. I might come back and expound on my thoughts, but right no

Deposed vampire regents, human scientists, renegade weres, an unknown virus; the Timberwolf pack has it's hands full in book 6 of the Midnight Hunters series. It didn't take me long to sink back into the dark and mysterious world of the Praeterns. Even though it has been a year since The Magic Hunt was released, the characters and setting feel like a worn pair of sweatpants after a long day--comfortable and familiar. You can really feel the growing tension radiating

The plot thickens for Alpha Mir as things continue to change all around; to include new alliances. This is a action packed book from beginning to end.

I was excited and sad to read this book, knowing that it is the last of the series. So as I say goodbye to Sylvan, Drake, Niki and Sophia and the rest of the Weres, as well some characters that I never imagined myself liking, Vampires and even a Fae, I am floating in bittersweet contentment. The entire book was, of course, building the final battle, and it was epic. The last six chapters of the book flew by so fast I was oblivious to everything around me. It was a fitting ending to a great serie ...more

Actually 3.5 star. I enjoy reading all 6 books in the series, but it's too much sex & I kept thinking that werewolf got to have their own clothing factory. I also had hard time to believe that there're only 2 medics in agressive werewolf pack. ;)

I've enjoyed every book in this series and this one was just a great. L.L. Raand has an amazing way of writing. Each book had me wanting more.

This is the 6th book in The Midnight Hunters series written around the wolf pack led by Sylvan Mir and her mate Drake McKenna. They are humans who shift into wolves or wolves who shift into humans.... There are many and various other characters in the stories - including vampires, cat weres, fae and corrupt humans. The books are sexual and beautifully capture the world these characters live in. This sixth story follows up on previous battles among the disparate groups as they try to find some eq ...more

This installment did not end with a cliff hanger like the previous one, everything was pretty much tied up. I can only assume that the next installment will be Sylvan's pack and allies against the Fae, maybe Torren will become queen and probably Jodi's Dad and Jodi will take over. They did say there was a silent vampire on the committee, I think it's her Dad. I was also wondering what does Cecilia gain from all this, especially if she saved Francesca. She could have stayed hidden if she didn't w ...more

Love the series, but I think for this book there is way too much going on and too many characters (old and new ones) all cluttered into the less than 300 pages. Almost all of the couples who existed in previous books got some sort of "showtime" in the book maybe with the exception of Lara and on top of it, the author brought in Tamara with Grey, an introduction of the Fae Queen, brought back Francesca from the dead...... had the length of the novel been a bit longer and maybe with some re-balanc ...more

It needed more of Jody Gates & Becca. The writer let's us witness them in the beginning and hints that Becca may be coming into some kind of power of her own. Becca was able to sense Jody's dad trying scan her mind. Jody reveals that ability is quite advanced. Then...bam! The two disappear until the end. With all the were cat involvement, you would think Raina (& Lara) would be more present. Although I'm a little disappointed, I enjoyed the read. I'm looking forward to the next

I love this series, Sylvan and Drake are great leaders and a great couple. Niki and Sophia are finally mated and looks like Gray might get a break with Tamara. The conflicts between the races and the Timberwolves just keep on coming. Jody, Raina and Michel are forces in their own right and make great allies for the Timberwolves, can't wait to see what happens next with these strong powerful wonderful women.

Another amazing book in the series, although I am getting tired of Francesca.

Although there did seem to be a few instances where words seemed missing between page turns, having to turn back and make sure did miss a page, here and there.

I LOVED this entire series!!! I'm hoping there's a book 7! And SOON!
I wasn't sure I'd enjoy the first book but I read ALL of them in the series in a week.
Totally worth the time and investment.
Definitely ADULT themes so 18+ only readers.

**I received an ARC of this story in exchange for an honest review

I tried to read through but it kept jumping back and forth and didn't seem to make any sense. It might have helped if I had read the first 5 books, but I was not aware that this was a series and that it had to be read in order.

I think I would have like this book better if I had read the previous books in the series. This story has all your favorite paranormal characters from Werewolves, Vampires, Fae and werecats. I liked the various characters but was confused by the different alliances.
Another Great in the Series

I absolutely love this series. This book was exciting and action filled. I never want it to end. I really loved that we got more time with Gray and Tamara. I look forward to the next book in the series.
