This concise, pocket-size resource presents the classic Bates approach in a two-column outline format. The Fourth Edition features new full-color design and art, complete chapter reorganization by body system, and a PDA download with an overview of the head-to-toe assessment. This guide outlines health history; provides an illustrated review of physical examinations for the adult and pediatric patient; reviews common findings; describes special techniques of assessment; and provides succinct aids to interpretation. New content includes two new chapters on interviewing and the Health History and the Pregnant Woman, sample documentation, and increased health promotion.
I think that the only good thing about this book is because it is "handy". Apart from that, it is impractical to use because of its oversimplification to the point that it lacks a lot of concepts found in the OG book.
