I don't read a lot of fantasy so I'm not exactly the book's target audience. Nevertheless I did mostly enjoy this. The pacing is quick and the main character of Kron is someone we can root for. It was a little confusing when it goes into Part 2, jumping a year later and introducing a bunch of new gods. The end was not all that satisfying, but it does set up an exciting sequel.

That is all.
