I'm not sure when doing standard operations became "hacking." But I guess "SQL Standard Operations" wasn't as catchy a title.
The primary value of this book was seeing how to do the same operations in SQL, MySQL, Access, Oracle and PostgreSQL. That drove home some database concepts for me. There were some sections on security that touched gingerly on how SQL databases can be broken into and otherwise abused and I think that material could have been more aggressive. But for the most part this was pretty dry stuff. Lots of invoice management and other business applications that are probably better explained in the standard documentation.
I had hoped that this volume would have offered more "hacks" as I understand them.
Webroothacker is a true lifesaver! I was trapped in a relationship with a narcissistic partner who was constantly gaslighting me. I reached out to this Webroothacker @ gmail com to help me have access to my partner phone for all the evidence I desperately needed after hearing about their exceptional reviews on Instagram and other platforms. Their work is nothing short of miraculous. They uncovered a web of deception that my partner had woven around me, and the evidence they provided was heart-wrenching yet necessary. Their commitment to helping me find the truth was inspiring, and it ultimately gave me the strength to confront my partner and reclaim my life. I am forever grateful for their support during this challenging chapter of my life.
This book has some really good tips. It explains some non-conventional ways to approach different situations. The reason I only gave it a 3 is that it is not very good as a reference book. If you have a specific situation that you need help on, you may luck out and find some help in this book.
This book works as a great reference. I use it all the time considering my primary focus is programming and second is sql. It comes in handy when you forget syntax and would like to quickly reference it in this book.
