This volume hurt my heart so much omg, these poor characters. The back story we got in this volume was amazing, we finally know the truth of the tragedy ! The art is so amazing AND THE TWIST IN THE LAST CHAPTER WAS SO GOOD !

Oh, this story. This gorgeous, heart-wrenching, amazing story. It eats at me, it really does.
I found this volume very cathartic despite the chilling revelations. I think it was just nice to finally put some puzzle pieces in place. There are still so many questions, and more arise with more revelations. For one, I don't understand how Lacie seemed to so easily submit to her fate. And, the Intention of the Abyss seems to be as ambiguous as ever.
And now, with what the final pages of this volume reveal, what is Oz going to do?
(And, thank you, Mochizuki, by giving us a little Xerxes Break here and there. My fangirl heart is very happy about that. That expression on Break's face when Gil is losing his mind is priceless.)
Finally, I'll never convince my non-manga-reading fans to read manga. I've given up trying...mostly. But, when I read a story like Pandora Hearts, I cry a little that so many will never give this story a chance. It's so beautifully drawn, the story is absolutely crazy but so good, and the characters! I love them all (except Gil). What more can I say? Read it! Read it!!

Getting the backstory of Jack finally and finally putting together so many loose threads only leaves me a library of new questions

We finally know the true character of a man who people once called “hero”: Jack Vessalius.
We go through his real memories and how he met for the first time with Lacie Baskerville, a child whose red eyes bring nothing but bad omens. She was particularly kind to his broken soul and in exchange, Jack lived and got himself a ‘real name’ just so one day, he could meet her again.
You can see it as love, obsession, or pure praise, yet he managed to survive all those years. Jack devoted himself to her, even if she didn’t ask for it.
On the other hand, Oswald, her big brother and the next Baskerville to obtain the name “Glenn” was a bit wary of their friendship but could do nothing about it. Jack was charming and didn’t seem to have ill intentions. At least until he found out that Lacie was meant to be killed –or more like thrown into the Abyss- by her own brother.
Later on, Jack meets Alice, Lacie’s daughter and becomes fond of her. But, you see, Alice had a white-haired twin that stayed in the Abyss. Thus, in his madness, Jack wants to bring Lacie back, even if that means sacrificing everyone around him.
We also have a big plot twist: Oz’ real identity was a mere black rabbit toy Alice used to have. Yet somehow he became a chain and obtain the power to sever other chains.
Now, to me this was THE big reveal we’ve always been waiting for. And though this is a re-read from me, I felt like shit after knowing the truth about my fav character. I relate to Oz on a deep level and realizing you were never meant to be is worse than anything I could think of.
This volume contains Retrace 66 – 70.

- honestly from the very beginning i knew Glen & the baskervilles were the semi good guys, they're literally chosen by the abyss to protect it, before the intention showed up. so basically Vince and the baskervilles aren't the baddies....?
but it's kinda cool that manipulated by jack, the Oz gang and pandora has been working against the good guys all along.
- secondly, look at how Vince is terrified at how devastated Gil is after discovering the truth. i'm wondering if this is why vince kept his mouth shut all these years and just kept going with Gil's delusions.
i'm so looking forward to Vince & Gil drama.

- Gil have an obsession with "a master" right?! that is Glen, but he mistaken for jack & oz, but at the same he ALSO treat Oz like a little sibling. so i have been thinking .......what if that's because Oz is blonde.... like Vincent....
all this "master" obsession began because Gil wanted to provide security and stability for Vince by working as a valet, so if he protected the "master" kept him safe and happy, him and vince wouldn't be out on the streets again.
but i don't know, like through out the story until now, we never saw Gil treat Vince with the same softness he treat Oz, maybe because of his memory loss...
Chapter 67:
- i always knew "Glen" oswald had a familial relationship to Lacie/ Alice,
BUTTT now i'm wondering if Gil and Vince are related to them somehow too
- Oswald already knew that jack was off and "disgusting", something similar was said before!!! but i don't remember by who
-ooooooooh the way Oswald explain how hollow jack is, is similar to the way break talk about Oz in earlier chapters!!!! break even said that oz is "unwholesome" and "freaky"
- " he is in front of me yet there's this grating sense of unease that no one is really there." very interesting choice of words from oswald, and the fact it happened to two members of the vesallius family too..........

-oooh very interesting glen has the opposite of lacie's philosophy in the earlier chapter, she tells jack to always ask "why" things the way they are and look at it from every angel to gain perspective, Glen doesn't care about the "why" he cares about "what should i do about it now?", he is practical, while lacie refuse the status quo. because none of these people are gonna suffer only her.
-no wonder Lacie is sadistic, she's told she is gonna get tossed in the abyss, no crime of her own, and everyone just accept it and expect her to comply to her own death, by probably her brother's hand.
-question: is gilbert gonna throw vince into the abyss too since he's a child of ill omen too :,(

- jesus fucking christ, Glen is so cruel telling lacie: so hey girlie you're gonna die very soon <333 and your big bro will inherit my powers to destroy you <3333
-i think lacie is putting a facade for Glen and herself, that she doesn't care about jack or anything, she is doing what Glen said "convince yourself you're okay with the way things are" she's acting as if she isn't upset about dying and being tossed into the abyss.
-wait lacie has went into the abyss as a child often? is that bc her eye thingie is an advantage?

my theory now is: child of ill omen isn't the reason, something else is going on, Glen told lacie that is true because it's an easy explanation she she herself half believes

-wait....vince is a distortion because of Gil?? jus like Lacie is because of Oswald??? and Vince blames himself for Gilbert suffering, when it's oswald feeling guilty for Lacie's misfortune.

- honestly from the very beginning i knew Glen & the baskervilles were the semi good guys, they're literally chosen by the abyss to protect it, before the intention showed up. so basically Vince and the baskervilles aren't the baddies....?
but it's kinda cool that manipulated by jack, the Oz gang and pandora has been working against the good guys all along.
- secondly, look at how Vince is terrified at how devastated Gil is after discovering the truth. i'm wondering if this is why vince kept his mouth shut all these years and just kept going with Gil's delusions.
i'm so looking forward to Vince & Gil drama.

- Gil have an obsession with "a master" right?! that is Glen, but he mistaken for jack & oz, but at the same he ALSO treat Oz like a little sibling. so i have been thinking .......what if that's because Oz is blonde.... like Vincent....
all this "master" obsession began because Gil wanted to provide security and stability for Vince by working as a valet, so if he protected the "master" kept him safe and happy, him and vince wouldn't be out on the streets again.
but i don't know, like through out the story until now, we never saw Gil treat Vince with the same softness he treat Oz, maybe because of his memory loss...
Chapter 67:
- i always knew "Glen" oswald had a familial relationship to Lacie/ Alice,
BUTTT now i'm wondering if Gil and Vince are related to them somehow too
- Oswald already knew that jack was off and "disgusting", something similar was said before!!! but i don't remember by who
-ooooooooh the way Oswald explain how hollow jack is, is similar to the way break talk about Oz in earlier chapters!!!! break even said that oz is "unwholesome" and "freaky"
- " he is in front of me yet there's this grating sense of unease that no one is really there." very interesting choice of words from oswald, and the fact it happened to two members of the vesallius family too..........
- ooooooooooh jack losing his cool carefree persona when oswald clocked him and actively trying to shut him up
-i'm gonna write about jack's psychology and his relationship with lacie after i process it and learn more

-oooh very interesting glen has the opposite of lacie's philosophy in the earlier chapter, she tells jack to always ask "why" things the way they are and look at it from every angel to gain perspective, Glen doesn't care about the "why" he cares about "what should i do about it now?", he is practical, while lacie refuse the status quo. because none of these people are gonna suffer only her.
-no wonder Lacie is sadistic, she's told she is gonna get tossed in the abyss, no crime of her own, and everyone just accept it and expect her to comply to her own death, by probably her brother's hand.
-question: is gilbert gonna throw vince into the abyss too since he's a child of ill omen too :,(

- jesus fucking christ, Glen is so cruel telling lacie: so hey girlie you're gonna die very soon <333 and your big bro will inherit my powers to destroy you <3333
-i think lacie is putting a facade for Glen and herself, that she doesn't care about jack or anything, she is doing what Glen said "convince yourself you're okay with the way things are" she's acting as if she isn't upset about dying and being tossed into the abyss.
-wait lacie has went into the abyss as a child often? is that bc her eye thingie is an advantage?
waittttt people born "a distortion" will be returned into the darkness of the abyss, oz? and vince??????
my theory now is: child of ill omen isn't the reason, something else is going on, Glen told lacie that is true because it's an easy explanation she she herself half believes
and it confirmed!!: lacie came close to the real core of the abyss, a person. that's her crime, she came close, touching that means you can control the abyss and it powers, that's why they have to kill her.
but her crime was being a stupid kid!! she didn't know what she did :(((((
-Lacie is pregnant! right?!! that's fucked.... but the way it was framed so she and the boys (gil & vince) shows up is making my theory alarms rings

woa, I love it so much, the truth that revealed is so hilarious, I don't even imagine that the truth will be like that, look forward to read the next book :9

Este tomo es magnífico porque vemos las historias de Jack, Glen, Oz, Lacie y Alice. Termina con la de Oz y es... tantas sorpresas y giros que no recordaba.
