"I would no longer be a mortal servant, a pet kept for sick entertainment. I had been chosen for initiation, to become one of the immortals…A vampire.

My transition continued on far longer than any other, filling my body with a pain that was beyond the natural senses. After four days of writhing in the burning change I blacked out, and what woke in my place was not a vampir

Enticing

Fascinating tale of Serenity's fight with her inner creature.

This is no typical paranormal novel. It's much more and I recommend it to everybody.

Immortal Tempest is different from any paranormal book I've read before. Ms. Sheats definitely made this book her own and I don't quite know what to make of it--not that that's necessarily a bad thing. It's just very new, a little weird, but intriguing all at the same time and I'm really curious to see where it all leads.

Immortal Tempest is a very short, dark read, but there's just enough details to keep it interesting without overloading you with information and majorly confusing you. It does

I enjoyed this vampire book very much. Very short story, it was so good I wished there was more details about the characters. Maybe the next book in the series does.<3
Beautiful writing, thank you for this story. :)

She had me at the prologue.... Seriously ... That was enough to suck me in and make me want more.

A war is being fought... Has been fought... Forever...

I must admit, I do truly enjoy a great vampire tale, and this has the makings of an epic saga. Down side for me is that this is only a taste of what is to come. This is the tale in it's infancy ... We have barely begun, but I NEED more.

Immortal Tempest starts in the past, the day that everything changed for Serenity. Everyone in her village was

Oh I loved this, I REALLY loved this. Immortal Tempest is a very visual book, the descriptions are very fluid and enchanting. Sheats creates a very vivid world that Serenity lives in. Its majestic, dark, alluring, dangerous and tempting in all the worst ways.

Serenity is vampire, originally a mortal of a very legendary warrior clan of people called Opsona she is very different from the Vamdari vampires. A force to reckon with despite her Master, Vondorian's will to tame and own her. Serenity is c

Well I did really enjoy this book. It's been a while since I've read a paranormal but oddly enough the last books I read of this genre also contain the 'beast' within, which seemed a tad oooh I have to stay on track with this plot and story and not let the other author's characters project into it. Because let's face it this is proper fantasy stuff so it's easy to bring forth other characters, especially if you feel a what can only be described as a kinship.

JN Sheats writes with an extremely viv

Crikey! I don’t think I’ve ever read anything quite like this.

Serenity was fighting the beast inside her, fighting to keep some of her free will. I could feel the pull her Master had on her and I could feel her internal battle to resist, yet she had a desire to succumb to him.

Vondorian was a brute of a Master who strived to gain control over Serenity. His demeanour was always intimidating, oozing confidence with dark powers ready to unleash against anyone who stood in his way. He had power, and

I am an independent reviewer who received the book The Immortal Tempest from its author and Paranormal Romance and Authors That Rocks. Serenity was a teenager when she was kidnapped and her people where murdered leaving her the only one left. Centuries later she's her captors biggest assest thanks to the blood lure. However the lure hasn't completely killed Serenity's humanity which is how she fights the attraction building between her Master and herself.

Vondorian is Lord vampire of the elite v

Serenity has spent centuries with her soul divided. Her humanity wars against the monster that made her immortal while compassion struggles not to be overcome by a thirst for blood and destruction.

Chained to her vampire master by his blood; part of her being yearns for his sensual touch while the other struggles to withstand his sadistic attempts to seduce and control her.

Immortal Tempest is the first novella in the Opsona Journey. Setting the stage with a well crafted paranormal world where goo

I loved and enjoyed reading Immortal Tempest (Opsona Journey, #1)the story was short and dark, visual and dangerous all in one.

Serenity is a vampire who once was a human for a legendary warrior clan known as the Opsona. Serenity is a different vampire compared to the Vamdari Vampires who she is with now. Her master is also a vampire that goes by Vondorian who likes to control and own Serenity. Serenity tries to fight her darkside that i

I received Immortal Tempest as a review copy. The gifting did not determine the review/rating, which reflects my honest opinion. This short story is not for the faint-hearted. Violence, cruelty, and blood are the binding ingredients in this tale of a woman controlled by a vampire. Well-written, fast-paced I enjoyed the read, even as I experienced the horror. Not a feel-good book, as the characters are not ones you'll sympathize with, but great writing makes it compelling. The four star rating is ...more

This book picks up just as book 1 ends, and we are once again thrust into a world of gods, vampires, battles, and now a mystery man from Serenity’s past.
Cret comes in just after the night Serenity is unleashed on the city. He is summoned by his teacher, and soon finds she is dead.

The story in this book is very well done. It leaves us with quite a few questions and the need for more. Like book 1, I still feel like I am missing out on some of the backstory, but hope that in future books we will g
