This book leans heavily into the forbidden romance trope, delivering a high-heat, high-stakes dynamic between a brooding, dominant ex-Navy SEAL and the much younger heroine, Sophia, he’s sworn to protect. A mix of suspense, angst, and intense chemistry, with Killian fighting his attraction every step of the way—until he inevitably gives in.
Expect a possessive alpha male, plenty of tension-filled moments, and a heroine who pushes boundaries. While the premise isn’t exactly groundbreaking in the age-gap/bodyguard romance genre, its success will depend on how well the author executes the emotional depth and pacing. If you’re in the mood for a steamy, slightly over-the-top read with a hero who can’t help but claim what’s “off-limits,” this could be your next guilty pleasure.

Sophia is a 19 year old girl who finds herself in a bit of trouble after listening to a conversions her step dad was having one night. Once her step dad realizes that she had over heard the conversion he tells her to pack a bag and hides her away with his brother in arms Killian.
Killian Ex-navey seal who can't be bothered until she comes to stay him and turns his life around.
This book has a happy ending and is a really enjoyable read, there is spice, suspense and overall everything you'd like of a novella.

takes charge-especially in the🌶 scenes (which were very 🔥)Things heat up quickly, with just the right amount of drama to make this a great & quick read!
BTW, this is the first book in series.

I received this book in exchange for my honest review.
Genuinely, I enjoyed this book. It was very hot and I loved the age gap between Sophia and Killian—I just wish the book was longer! I felt like there wasn’t a lot of build-up for these two. Sophia is a firecracker but she never really pushed Killian’s buttons so I feel like we lost out on a lot of angst and banter.
If you’re looking for a quick and hot read, look no further!

This book was a good read for a short novella, if you’re not into big long books.
Personally for me i prefer bigger books because i feel as though it moves to fast in novellas.
This was still a good book that i did enjoy!
The spice was definitely there so was the plot which was really good.
The thing that confused me the most was the epilogue was in third person while the rest of the book was in first…
Apart from that it was a good read, and it is a very fast burn!
