In junior high, she began writing fractured fairy tales from the villain's point of view and that was the moment she knew that she was going to use her powers for evil instead of good.
In 2003, she moved to Denver and met the love of her life. After some relentless stalking and a few well-timed sarcastic remarks, the man eventually gave in to her charms and wifed her so hard. They welcomed a son in 2007 that they named after their favorite Marvel superhero, Spiderman.
Sick of seeing beautiful mountains through their window every day, the three escaped back to the desolate landscape of the west Texas desert in 2009. She welcomed her second son not long after and soon realized that being surrounded by three men was nothing at all like she'd imagined in her fantasies.

This is the first I have read by Shannon and I absolutely loved it. Piper and Ghost meet at the Motorcycles, Mobsters, and Mayhem book signing. Ghost knew right away that he wanted more than one night with her. But life has a way of getting in the way of what you want sometimes. Now two years later the signing is back and so are they. Piper has a secret and is nervous about the possibility of seeing Ghost again. How will he react when he learns he and Piper made a baby, Avery. Can Piper and Ghost make things work? Someone is trying to send Ghost a message and they are using Piper to do it. Ghost is going to use the full force of his club to make sure Piper and Avery are safe. Ghost has an idea about who might be behind it but will Piper believe him? This book was a great read. I can't wait to read more of Shannon's books. These guys are amazing. I can't wait to read each of their stories. Fantastic job Shannon.

This was a really good book! Dane and Piper’s connection was intense. While it wasn’t as dark as I expected, it still made for a great read.🙌🏼 It had everything—plot, angst, romance, and spice—all blended together perfectly.
And Avery—oh my heart, that kid was absolutely adorable! 💖
But let me just say, when the third act hit and the plot started plotting… those videos?! I was so angry and downright terrified for Avery! (iykyk)
I haven’t read the author’s other books yet, but after this, I think I have to go back and check out the SPMC series. Definitely adding it to my TBR! 🔥📖

I met Dane "Ghost" and one night of the best night of my life turned into more than I ever expected. Avery our little girl was one surprise I never expected but never regretted. Great read
Shannon Myers is a new to me author, and I’m really glad I discovered her.
This book had me laughing out loud at parts, and in tears at others. I was totally invested in Ghost & Piper from the start, and was even invested in the secondary characters. There was laughter, love, spice & action. All in all, it’s made me want to check out more books by the author, and to say I give The Keeper a huge thumbs up!

I’m Ready for the next book! With these books you never know exactly what you are getting except a great book! Love Dane and piper, they are great together. The chemistry these two have is so strong. A one night stand that becomes something more. You get the angst, twists and all the feels goods!

Past and present collide
I loved Ghost and Piper along with Avery. This couple made it through all kinds of trouble during their beginning relationship.
Ghost and Piper, seem to connect on a different level then most do when you first meet someone.
I loved the way that the plot and characters worked together to make this story awesome. I can't wait to see what comes in the next book

This story has a lot of feelings in it, for each other. Information had not been gotten from one another. A baby in the mix. Lots of twists and turns you won’t see coming. I highly recommend this to everyone.

Here’s the thing, I love me some Shannon Myers. This novel has what makes a great MC, raw, gritty, emotionally charged, hot, and not a clear path to a happy ending. Shannon makes her characters work for their HEA. This storyline follows Ghost & Piper and brings us back to meeting at the romance book signing, their spark angst, and the impact of a nights rendezvous and the ripple effect of those choices.

Biker, pregnancy not known, one night stand gone wrong, HEA. Little rushed on the ending, good build up but then missed a chance to tell more about Ivy and the guys.
Recap:
This is the story about Piper, who is an aspiring Baker and loves romance books and at a convention with her bestie Ivy, meets Dane/Ghost a biker and something out of one of her romance books. He was there with his friend and fellow biker Drew who was a model for a few covers and another. Piper and Dane have a hit and steamy night together and he promises her all the things, but when she wakes up alone she’s disappointed and knew she should have listened go her mom, esp once she finds out she pregnant. Dane had to leave bc his nephew committed suicide after the advice Dane gave him didn’t work either a girl he liked. We find out that is def not the reason later on. When he ran out of the room, he didn’t realize that they didn’t exchange numbers….shit. 2 years pass and Piper is raising their daughter Avery as a single mom. Her mom and ivy help but it’s still hard and she is now just working at a bakery owned by a rich kid, Drake, instead of owning her own shop. She gets the chance to go to the convention again with ivy and there he is Dane! She feels many emotions but when she is at dinner with him to talk, their daughter is rushed to the hospital. She leaves but he follows her and sees Avery and knows she’s his. He is made that he missed out but she has no way of finding him and he didn’t either. We learn later her visited all Pipers in that state but her real name is Amelia Piper so he wouldn’t have found her that way anyway, but it’s cute. Dane ends up moving in essentially with them since his home is hours away and he has missed enough already. They learn to co exist and have some hiccups along the way. One morning when Piper is prepping for the bakery day, she is attacked by 2 masked men and right before he r**** her, Drake shoots the guy and saves her. Piper struggles after that with nightmares and not feeling safe. Dane watched the attack and goes to end the other guy that did this to her. That scares her too bc she doesn’t understand what the club life is, he gives her a crash course, but this leads to arguing but in a healthy way to communicate and start healing bc he f the heck out of her and she needed it hard to help erase some of her trauma from the attack. The club guys get a lead and find a dead guy and stalker videos and pictures of Piper and Avery. There is a video of Avery being smothered and tortured which causes Dane a lot of trauma and paranoia. They think healing is happening and they plan to move back to Danes home area to start fresh, and she can start her own bakery! As she’s packing, Drake comes by and attacks her, ivy and her mom. Drake has been obsessed with Piper and he was the one leaving the chocolates and weird notes, he pinned it on the druggie. After cutting ivy he comes after piper and she fights him off best she can but her aim isn’t great. She even bit him hard on the neck just to survive. Dane came home early thankfully and snapped his neck but he was already dead by the bite. We find out he came home early bc Avery reacted st a pic of Drake in the bathroom after the bought her a cinnamon roll at the bakery be for earns. He knew that’s who hurt his daughter and rushed home. Ivy’s throat is cut bad and she barely makes it but thankfully they save her, he missed her carotid by inches. We learn drew and Mike both have hooked up with her, together, and they care for each other, but Ivy’s conservative parents won’t let them near her. In the hospital piper learns she’s pregnant again, and they are scared but excited and Dane doesn’t want to miss a moment this time! They move from Dallas to Lubbock and the grand opening is happening for Pipers New bakery. Ivy is there but she is struggling after the attack, and she is moving in with her parents supposedly and Piper is worried about her and she won’t talk to the guys. (Wish there was most on that love fest! Dane offers for Ivy to live with them to heal, we will see if another book is written!) at the grand opening Piper surprises Dane with his brother who he has dogged for 2 years out of guilt. Do you Love One Night Stand Romance ? Do You Love MC Romance? Do You Love Possessive MMC and touch her and die vibes ? Do you love secret Baby and He Falls first ? Well if so you absolutely need to read The Keeper !!!! Because in all honesty no words can possibly express the wild ride I was just taken on . All I can really say is that Piper and Ghost had my heart from page one , everything they went through to be together, how beautiful and emotional their love story was well it grabbed onto my heart so tightly and so completely. Smiling, laughing, crying and cheering so freaking hard . I feel like I went through it all with them

Ghost and Piper had a one night all consuming rendezvous but fate pulled them apart only to provide a gift no one saw coming and when Ghost pops back into her life Piper had to prepare herself because life is about to get crazy!
I found myself loving and then absolutely hating Piper at times. I totally get her worries but also she knew who he was so…she shouldn’t have gone there if his life was something she was terrified of. She was also immature at times and equally with him. I would’ve loved more character development but I did enjoy majority of the story and liked some of the twists the author threw in.

Piper has the best time at Motorcycles, Mobsters, and Mayhem signing event. She was just stoked at meeting all the authors and getting books signed, she wasn't even expecting to meet Ghost and have the whole event end with a night she wouldn't forget. Two years later, Piper is now a single mom that had no clue how to get ahold of Ghost, but now she will get her chance. How do you tell the man that rocked your world that he has a kid he didn't know about? This was a cute read, that gave us a little bit of everything. I give this 4 stars.

I really loved this book. Romantic suspense is probably my favorite genre. The only things I didn’t like were when they said she was on the rag when she was on her period. I’ve heard the term before but not in real life. I feel like it’s kind of misogynistic. I also don’t get why it was called a “kutte” instead of a “cut.” I googled it and I guess kutte is the German for cut. It just didn’t really make sense to me. I’ve read a ton of MC books and never heard that word before. Otherwise great book and I can’t wait to read Ivy’s book.

My first read for this author and enjoyed the dual-pov. Plenty of action and though we knew who the bad guy was (suspected) from the start. Lots of other angst to work through. Really dark and twisted what the psycho was doing to the baby. Tore up Ghost to the point he couldn't function.
Glad Piper is the one who finished off the villian.

This is more like MC adjacent, but I still loved it. Bit of a different storyline which I loved. Cannot believe how creepy the situation turned out to be and the poor baby. My god I don’t think I’d ever be able to sleep in a separate room to my baby ever again and I’d have to have live monitored, video recording 24/7, just to make sure it never happened again 😳

Great story!!

I really enjoyed this book. I actually thought I had it figured out but I actually didn't. I know I will be reading this one again. I definitely recommend this if your looking for a spicy standalone

I met Dane "Ghost" and one night of the best night of my life turned into more than I ever expected. Avery our little girl was one surprise I never expected but never regretted. So when we meet up later and he is willing do anything for us but can I live with his club life and the danger involved? I loved Piper, Dane and Avery, such an incredible story. I couldn't get enough of this story and these characters. I highly recommend this book and author as I was blown away.
