This book has it all. Love. Sorrow. Despair. Betrayal. Elation. Heartache. Action. Drama. It's an emotional roller-coaster ride through the life of Commander Jillian Markenson and those near and dear to her.

I thoroughly enjoyed the book, churning through the pages as quickly as I could yet not knowing if the next page would have me in laughter or tears.

There were a number of grammatical errors / missing words throughout the book but it didn't detract from my reading experience. I know this is a massive pet peeve for some readers however it doesn't seem to faze me like it does others.

I'm looking forward to continuing Jill's journey in book 2, Deep Secret.

Can't complain.

The story is good though the book does have grammatical errors. I wished Sarah didn't have to die as she was a better fit to Jillian. Still a heart warming plot though.
