A Celebration of Wellness is the perfect lifestyle book with more than 300 delicious low- and non-fat, heart-healthy recipes. Readers will learn how to make breakfast burritos, creative salads, live energy soups, hearty stews, fruit-sweetened desserts, and much more. This cookbook also presents Tastes of Life, bite-sized morsels of information about the environmental impact of your food choices, aromatherapy, cleansing fasts, deep breathing, and salt glow massages.
Mmmmmmm. Yeast flakes and Dr. Bronner's Bouillon. I probably made half of this crap when I was trying to get hippies to sleep with me in high school. A hundred uses for millet, tofu, and liquid aminos along with numerous pictures of interspecies vegetable sex and words of wisdom like "The heavens are filled with the inspiration of the earth, both are reflections of the same heart" and "A rainbow is a miracle whispering peace across the universe." I hope vegans have better cookbooks now than they did in 1996.
A Celebration of Wellness - James Levin and Natalie Cedarquist This is one of my favorite veggie cookbooks. Fun, easy, and very appealing. All recipes are vegan and many are raw just simply from this book being entirely about vibrant healthy living. Lots of interesting sidebars too. Mostly but not entirely wheat/gluten-free but always easy to adapt. Definitely can recommend this!
