This book was an easy, fun, at times exciting read, filled with emotions, rich backstory, action and well... water!

Everything starts with Hannah landing a job as a chef in Adam's yacht for a two weeks cruise..
From the beggining the tension between them is tangible and that makes the reader to get more interested in the story..

Okay, just a warning, this could turn into a bit of a rant and I'm not going to apologize for it. Nuh-huh not one little bit.
You see, one of my pet peeves is about females that are supposedly plus sized in a book, but then the chick on the cover is a tiny little thing hanging off the back of a ripped god. Now I know, don't judge a book by it's cover AND that a author doesn't usually get a say in what a cover looks like, but when the female characterStars

Sadly, this book with such a guilty pleasure promising premise, was a DNF for me. Plus Size Heroine, Yea! Rock Star Hero, Huzzah! Unusual Yacht Setting, Woo Hoo! Shipwreck Survival Story, Sign Me Up!

However, right away we have weight cruelty and overly defensive interior monologue. There are plot reason for the fat shaming by another character that are actually interesting but it was still a rough entry into the book. The hero was not so likable at first which I can handle but I neve

Hannah is a personal chef escaping her personal problems in the islands. Hannah is described as a curvy woman but I don’t think its BBW style. She is informed various times by Simone who runs the ship. As she is making her way into the galley she doesn’t really know who the member of the boat she is feeding is. Suddenly the band Iron Hammer boards to include the books main character Adam Sykes who is sexy and ap

I did like this book up until the end......

She is a replacement chef on a yacht for a billionaire rock star.

He's an arrogant rich guy who can have whatever he wants when he wants it.

But behind their facades is there more? Yes there is. Hannah was broken hearted and never really got over the guy who left her. Adam is tired of the fake life he's living and now is pushed into this vacation to write music.

The ship goes down adding some mystery while the two are stuck on an

If you read the title you know what you are getting into. (I love how all this BBW romances always have a skinny model on the covers.)
What I liked about this is that they both helped each other to confront their fears and complemented each other.

Wow, I found this book to be synonymous with riding a roller-coaster, with its constant twisting and turning, as you scream on the top of your lungs with both happiness and fear. I experienced every emotion know to woman while reading Shipwrecked with the Billionaire Rock Star, and I wouldn't have missed it for the world. This is a suspenseful, sometimes laugh-out-loud romantic adventure that kept me on the edge of my seat from beginning to end.

Due to the backstabbing and embarrassme

I received this story from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

Hannah was called upon to be a replacement chef aboard the yacht rented for Billionaire Rock Star Adam Sykes of Iron Hammer. After a few bad choices, Iron Hammer's manager decides a getaway for Adam, to relax and find himself, is what he needs.
Adam is deemed unlikable until a set of circumstances forces him to slowly shed his rock god persona & allow his true self to show through. Only then can Hannah and Adam begin to

Netgalley copy. I've been on a real kick for shipwreck stories lately after finally finishing the lost series. So when I saw that I had been accepted to review this one I was really excited. Shipwreck and romance, two of my favourite things. Now I really liked how it began with some background knowledge and the lead up to the shipwreck but then it became a bit messy and fast paced for my liking, there wasn't much about the castaways and how they survived and it seemed to finish two quick. The bu ...more

Adam sure has one smart kitty, "Ozzy clung on even tighter, and hissed in my ear as if to tell me exactly what he'd do to me if I slipped and dumped him into the water." Adam he's not self conscious at all, "Adam was still equally naked, all powerful, rippling muscle and - I quickly glanced in the other direction. Something else had arisen early. Adam glanced down at himself. "I can't help it," he said in a low growl. "You have that affect one me." He's also one to give his woman what she wants, ...more

I loved this book. It contains a bit of everything you enjoy about a good book. There was a good laugh, a bitch, a shipwreck and an island.
Hannah is a last minute addition to a yacht charter for a burnt out rock star. Adam is a rock star looking for something more in life. He take one look at Hannah and thinks things could be looking up, and Hannah's past rears it's ugly head head and makes her defensive. The

Loved this story!! This is book is different than anything Victoria Wessex has written and it is just as good as her other stories. This story is about Hannah, a curvy no nonsense Chef and billionaire Rock Star, Adam!! Hannah just wants to do her job and doesn't like Adam flirting with her which she makes it known to him. Adam wants to know her better, but she is making it hard. There is a lot of sexual tension between the two but the actual first "real" sex scene doesn't take place until the mi ...more

**Received as an ARC from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review**

I must say, I loved the premise and promise of this book and the author delivers, but not fully. It was fast-paced, engaging and entertaining. Loved the back and forth, the honesty of the situation (physical and mental). It was all up front and center and no infernal, long-winded internal debates - I guess because they were more focused on survival than on maintaining facades. But when the sinister undertones were

This was an entertaining, if forgettable read. I enjoyed Hannah's attitude and general competency, but I felt some of the instant attraction was a bit over the top. There were a couple of other over the top portions (Adam's birthday party, the mwa-ha-ha bad guys), but I do love a shipwreck story. There's just something about surviving on a desert island with a gorgeous guy that will get me turning the pages.

Now I really hope this series continues so I can read a story about Midnight.

Received an ARC copy from Netgalley for a honest review. OMG! I loved this book. Storyline was well written, intriguing and hot along with a few unexpected twists. You have a hot rock star, a sassy chef and a deserted island. Oh yeah, and a cat named Ozzy. Loved Adam and Hannah from the start. Both are running from something and deal with it in different ways. They have undeniable passion and chemistry. As they get to know each other, they realize they are more a like than what they thought. Love ...more

I liked the book. The beginning started off a little rough for me. I think if it was polished up a little it would have been better. It was almost like Hannah fell for Adam a little to quickly. I think if she had been a little more resistant to the idea, the build up to the romance would have been better. The rest of the book flowed easily, and I enjoyed the ending. It's a quick read, perfect for the beach.

I loved it.. I fell in love with Hannah & Adam from the start. There are lot's of twist and turns. And romance. Adam has a faithful Cat, Ozzy that survives the wreck. Wait till you find out about the surprising monkey. But, just when you think they will be saved another scary twist happens. I was in tear during part of it. Call me a sap, but I couldn't help it.

My only wish is that the book was longer. Maybe a book 2

I've read several of this author's shorter fluffier romances and they are good for passing an hour or so, but this one was a but deeper and the plot kept me interested. I have described it as "On the Island" light (but without the older woman/younger man aspect. There was even a point of the book where I thought I might cry and that happens VERY infrequently when I read. Give it a whirl!

It's all about expectations with some books. With this one, I knew it was going to be a sweet, fun, romance story and that's exactly what I got. It's not my usual scene but I fancied something easy going for a day and this delivered. X

So you got Hannah a girl who's escaping life on a ship as a chef and making it all seem right and then the rock star who seems to be out of control, but a passion is there and being shipwrecked brings it out. With great reading and steamy sense was defiantly something I would read again.
