The authors have also noted access problems, such as private property, government lands and the necessity for four-wheel drive vehicles, and they have provided the reader with collecting and safety tips. The listings are divided by counties, then localities with the rocks and minerals that can be collected there. There is also a cross-referenced index of localities, maps and minerals.
