Powerful book for every gender. (Irrespective of what the title says)
Gives fantastic examples and is brilliantly written.
Though the content gets into more personal stories, there are lots to take from it.
The book almost sounds like a modern version of “men are from mars and women are from Venus”.
Some generalisation, some hype, some doesn’t sound genuine- but overall a good read

Some good arguments. But there was too many repetitions and too much talk about God.

The first few chapters were promising and I was thinking this was going to be a 5 star rating, already recommending the book to friends. However, as the book progressed, the talk about God became a bit too much. This, combined with the repetition of words such as 'wow' (I was listening to the audiobook), almost made me want to give a 2 star. For the next few days, whenever I said 'wow' to my 1 year old, it felt as if Lisa was 'woooooow'-ing me in my ear and I abruptly stopped. I love the message, but I felt it could've been stronger without the 'wow' and links to God multiple times each chapter.

What does a princess have to do with you and your life?

Lisa Jimenez manages to give a whole new perspective on women and the role of being a princess as well as a whole new meaning to the word in itself. If you (like I did..!), have sugary sweet and candied goldilocks girls in mind when you hear the word princess, and want to avoid any association with it, think again! This book might change your mind.

This is a book I will have to read again very, very soon, just to make sure a get every little bit of good advice out of it.

Also. Love the fact that Lisa Jimenez herself is reading the audiobook version. It is captivating, engaging and brings true value to every single word.
