Thoroughly enjoyed! The beginning chapters could have been technical enough to scare off some, I'm guessing, but all the information was well worth knowing, and the organization system of the book was helpful. I learned a lot from reading this book alongside opportunities to practice what I was reading, and I expect to find myself circling back to many chapters in the book for further practice as I keep going. It won't be hard to find where I want to practice, either, because of the aforementioned helpful organizational system. I would definitely recommend this book to other curious teachers who want to know more about positive behavior management.

I really did not enjoy this textbook. I found the writing to be more confusing than the topics could possibly be. I mean the amount of extra info added and dropped in the middle of sentences through parentheses really make you lose the plot of what we are even discussing. I am sure there is deeply valuable information in here for classroom behavior management but it is not very accessible. Ultimately it made me angry when reading it and that should not be how a behavior management text should make me feel.

Seriously more like 2.5 ⭐️ and I feel that is too generous still. This was written like a science text book and it made it 20x more confusing than it needed to be. AND SERIOUSLY YOU NEED TO STOP USING PARENTHESES TO ADD EXTRA INFO EVERY OTHER TWO WORDS! It made the point impossible to get because there were wayyyyyy wayyyyy too many words and ideas being put forth in one sentence. It was so confusing when these topics do not need to be that difficult. Like come on. We can do better.
