I honestly think most fans of Charlie Cochet's addictive THIRDS series will really like this one. Me? I enjoyed it but it wasn't groundbreaking. To be honest, and Dex and Sloane fans, don't hate me, but I'm ready for another couple to take center stage.

This book has more of what we've come to love in other books in this series. Action? Check! Sexy times? Check! Danger? Check! For those that want to see some progression in Dex and Sloane's relationship, you won't be disappointed. In f

This book? In a nutshell?

Yeah, that about sums it up.

I felt like this book - which focused mainly on Dex and Sloane, a-fuckin-gain - was super circuitous.

Full Definition of circuitous

: having a circular or winding course, a circuitous route.

I couldn't have said it better myself, Merriam-Webster.

Seriously though, to beat a dead horse - much like this book - I feel as though we are going around in circles with Dex and Sloane's relationship.

And don't even get me

I can't believe I've read 4 books about the same characters! And loved them all! That says something about this series. It's fantastic! So why not 5 stars?

What I loved....

**Where Dex and Sloan ended up as a couple**

.....I really loved where their relationship ended.

**Sloane "marking" Dex**

.....I loved possessive Sloane! When his cat came to life and wanted to claim Dex! SO HOT!

**All of the secondary characters**

I honestly love every single one of them. And I can't wait to read their

To say I was excited for this book is a huge understatement

I still love each single character in this series and can not wait for their books. Especially Austen. I was a little  dissappointed that Sloane was more  stuck at home than kick some asses with his teammates. But that didnt stop me from enjoying this book.

I loved sappy Sloane, I loved possesive Sloane even more. And now Im ready for Ash and Cael.

My casting for Cael:

I love this series more and more with each book. It always makes me laugh and this time it also left me with a big smile on my face.

In this installment all relationships progress. Ash and Hobbs finally decide to do what they feel deep down in their heart instead of running away and hiding their feelings to the person they truly love. Plus, some guys drop the L word. It made me so freakin happy.

As always, there's lots of action, humor and feels. The ending is just hilarious; Dad Tony and Old Bets

I think I have a new favorite book in the series. This bad boy is amazing. It's easily the best book for Sloane and Dex's relationship, but it's also not an easy ride. There are ups and downs and things go wrong and things go right. But no matter what happens in this book, you get one thing. Relationship progress. Dex and Sloane are a great couple. I've always enjoyed reading them. But this book made me fall completely head over heels in love with them.

You know when you're reading a book, that you're loving, and the end is coming... and you don't want the end to come... not yet, please, not yet!!!! I felt like this when I've finished this book! I could be reading about Dex&Sloane, Delta Destructive, Thirds... all day, and I wouldn't get tired... it wouldn't be enough...

This series is absolutely fantastic, and this book is fabulous... I love everything about it: Dex (that's it, I love all of Dex), how Sloane realized what he really felt for
I was going to give this book 4 stars but the last chapter alone is worth 5 stars so

5+++++++ stars

The first part dragged on and I wanted to smack Dex most of the time but once he came to his senses the Dex I loved was back and I quickly forgave him for his TSTL phase.

This book had me like:

Well, I got what I was looking for in this book from Sloane and it's about time. He's definitely growing on me and I can tell he loves Dex a lot. Now this go round, Dex got on my nerves a wee bit. He was just not using his head. Little did I know he's a bit screwed up too so I guess him and Sloane are actually perfect for each other.

There's lots of relationships going on so it's like a damn soap opera. But I'm not complaining. I absolutely love the whole team and they all deserve a

So amazingly good. Exciting roller coaster of goodness.
It couldn't have ended better! For me, this series just keeps improving. I wish I could give it more than 5 stars to this book because it was freaking awesome. I think this is the last book of Sloan and Dex story and Geez, it was perfect!!!

This whole book kept me grinning, laughing, swooning and sighing from beginning to end.

I can't write a proper review: first I'm writing it up from my phone and second, I'm still giggling like a stupid with that ending, I hope Sarge Tony won't be too hard wit

This is book #4 in the THIRDS series and it's my favorite so far.

We get again a lot of action and suspense. And what's better than going against orders and rules? Their team was stronger than ever!

What I really LOVED here would be that DEX and Sloane's relationship became stronger! *sigh*
And things are starting to move between Cael and Ash and Calvin and Hobbs. Finally!!!

Some scenes are hard to believe and over the top, but overall I absolutely adore these characters and Dex still makes

The fourth book in the series still centers (will they center around them all the way? Please say yes?!) around the Defense Agent (used to be a homicide detective; the Human Police Force) Dexter ‘Dex’ ‘Rookie’ Justice Daley (33) and his Team Leader Sloane Brodie (37), who's also his jaguar Therian partner and lover. Sloane is recovering from a bomb explosion attack by The Coalition, while doing so he's worried for his partner who can't let the attack go. Dex
Finally we’re getting somewhere. I still adore Dex. One of the things I love about this series is the closeness of Destructive Delta. They are not just a team but a family. This series is so good.

Wow. For some reason that just totally clicked for me.

I’ve got to say that the best part of this book was the fantastic fun factor, in and amongst the serious parts of finding and bringing down some bad guys. As this series continues, stories and backgrounds are layered and growing more complex, making it all the more interesting. This cast of characters mesh so well as they bring an extremely entertaining view into the various shenanigans and crazy situations they find themselves in

Before I start, major points for sticky sweet by way of Def Leppard. One of the best tracks on one of the best albums evah.

Ahem, now then, I'm gonna review this partially through the lens of Star Wars. Why? Because I can.

Oh and also, because I can, I'm gonna start in the middle.

Just like parts of Empire Strikes Back, the story got in the way of the characters during... yup, the middle. The characters were separated most of the time, therefore the levels of chemistry, humor, and emotion dipped, w

These books are really so much fun. Another enjoyable installment with the THIRDS.

As you all know, Rack & Ruin ended with a bang and then, well, ended. What a freaking cliffie! Thank God this picked right up where the other left off and we got thrown right back into the story. This story was as exciting as the first three, it was as funny and it was seriously as steamy. Bonus, we got much more of the other couples in the book that I am sure all of us are anxious for. I really enjoyed it, mos

I LOVE this series and I LOVED this book!

I loved the progression in the relationship between Dex and Sloane.

I loved the intertactions between Calvin and Ethan as well as Ash and Cael.

There were so many good lines that made me laugh (especially when Cael was being sarcastic with Dex).

I loved the struggle that Dex had with himself between what he was doing and how it was impacting his relationship with Sloane. He did do some dumbass stuff, but I'm cutting him some slack because he was blinded by l

Don't let the missing half-star fool you, this book made my fucking miserable migraine bearable for several hours. That's an astonishing achievement. Add to that the storm front making its way here, and I've been a complete and utter case of baskets all day long.

So I read about Sloane and Dex doin' the nasty, fighting each other's massive issues, making their alleged world-class expertise in stealthcraft and crime-solving look like a tissue of lies barely holding together on

It's safe to say by now that I'm a total fangirl when it comes to this amazing shifter world Charlie Cochet created. I remember like it was yesterday when I first read Hell & High Water (Thirds, Book 1), going into it without any expectations because it was my first read by this author and also to see what's the whole hype about and then finishing it and being totally enthralled. Since then the story has only got better with every next book and with
I can't believe I've just finished book four of the THIRDS series, because it doesn't seem like five minutes since these fantastic guys burst on the scene and took us all by storm. For the last three books, although we've been given hints of what's to come for the other main couples, the focus has really been on Dex and Sloane and of course if you've been following the series, which I'm pretty sure most of you have, then you'll have been left like I was; absolutely desperate to get your hands on ...more
Not my favourite instalment of the series. Too many lies from basically everyone but especially Dex. :( I loved that he and Sloane finally got it together after Sloane's injury, and the L word has not only been acknowledged by Sloane but has been eclipsed by (view spoiler). I lost my passion for this story after reading Rack & (cliff-hanger) Ruin.
I had hoped to reclaim it after reading Rise & Fall.
Sadly, I did not.

The moment I picked Rise & Fall up, I was lost to the world–that is, the real world. And I mean completely absent, living entirely in the book. Anyone unfortunate enough who tried to pull me out of the book's world got nothing but growls–Felid behavior must have rubbed off on me–and dirty looks for their efforts. I did nothing but read for hours, that's how mesmerized I was. The fourth installment is, without a doubt, the best

Just before I picked up this book I remembered how I came to read the first installment of this series. Turns out that reviews of the book kept appearing in my GR feed and then Tamika and I decided to give it a shot and BR. The thing is that I had absolutely no clue about the book. I had no idea it had shifters and a silly boy that would completely steal my heart. Now, this is important because I normally don't read shifters. Had I known this was a shifter series I would have probably stayed awa ...more

Once again, Mark Westfield elevates the story with his wonderful character voices and narration. 5 stars for the audio!

I absolutely love and adore Mark Westfield's narration of this series! To me, it's Westfield's narration that makes this series shine.

I enjoyed this story the best out of the series. I loved getting to see the relationship between Sloane and Dex deepen. (view spoiler) I loved seeing Calvin and Hobbs give in to their feelings for

3,5 stars.

I enjoyed the 4th part of the THIRDS series… but I couldn’t love it as much as the previous books. For me Dex and Sloane have lost their shine, their story is told, I need a new couple. Badly. There wasn’t anything spectacular or new happening in the 4th book, I was getting bored with the storyline and was tempted to skip pages… that’s a first in this series.

I didn’t like Dex’s dumbass behavior. Hey, the guy is a professional, a Destructive Delta team member… he is highly qualified and
