Michael Manley is the pen name of two men, Ken Sheldon and Stan Miastkowski. I have known Ken for many years, part of a longtime, far-ranging group of writers in northern New England. I also met his writing partner, Stan, a few times before Stan passed away in 2009. The fact that I know the authors did not influence my opinion of this book. It is a riveting read, and I was especially fond of the protagonist, Darcy.

Well written, fast-paced thriller!
The story leaves the gate and immediately grabs your interest. Things are not always as they appear and the plot grows darker. Character development is well done and the story well edited. I only found one typo in the entire book. I look forward to reading more from this author.
