A sweet tale with a rather stupid and quick ending. The ghosts are interesting, but I didn't see much reason for them to be in the story, aside from providing the heroine with an interesting profession.

ok, lots of misunderstandings, lots of running around, slightly rushed ending


Ellery is looking for his missing brother Phillip. Vanessa is taking jobs as a medium to support her sister Melanie. Melaine bears a son out of wedlock with a four leaf clover birthmark. Melaine goes missing. Ellery suspects Vanessa of being part of a club that resulted in his brothers disappearance. Vanessa suspects Ellery as the missing father of Melaine's child. eventually it turns out Ellery's contender to be his fiancee Cordelia is the head of the club, kidnapped Phillip and kidnapped Melaine to torture Phillip (the baby's father) and was planning on killing Ellery. all misunderstanding resolved, ellery proposes to vanessa
