On instinct, Tarian bowed her head, shocked. “Dulra. Welcome.” She breathed the words, awed by the presence of creatures she’d only known through legends. What is the Balance Court doing here?
“Tarian A’marie Maitea Xannon, of the House of Xannon, Keeper of the Water Artifact, you are summoned to the Balance Court.”
She’d been summoned, and every particle of her being cried

Well done......

Tarian is pregnant and fighting to figure out to break the stulos. The House of Zannon is now Tarian. She is responsible for protecting the water symbol and the humans they represent. The Daemon leaders each have their own agenda, not shared by all who follow them. Tarian must face her hardest challenge alone, believing her daughter dead. Power and magic are the catalyst for this book, and it is well worth reading.

Follow Tarian and her friends and family as they risk it all to kee

Good idea for a storyline

This series is a good idea for a storyline but I just can't seem to connect with the characters. If the plot slowed down a little and the author delved deeper into sub-plots, I might have had the chance to get to know the characters better and connected with them. As it stands, I don't really care either way who lives or dies in the story. Unsure whether or not I'll finish the series.

Good series

I liked it. There was a lot of floating around feeling lost that could have been a little more descriptive. Also, the main character tends to be a bit pessimistic and was constantly assuming key characters were dead when she had no clue if they were or not but overall, it was a good continuation of the series.

Love the series

I can’t wait to read to read book four. I am intrigued by the magic and the characters and their abilities. I want the bad guys to lose.

Good series, loved some of the characters, especially all of the strong women who had to take care of themselves and save the world! But this left most of the male characters feeling flat and undeveloped so when they popped up I kept wondering what the heck they were even there for. So she could have done a little bit better job with those... since the women did need to learn that asking for help was not a sign of weakness. It was a sign of strength. She gave us this message but with these flat ...more

This book was full of adventure and mystery and twists and turns. There were surprises all over this book and so much action. I feel for Tarian and Macari. Tarian with her pregnancy and having to fulfill all of the promises she has made makes her one strong woman. Macari is a mystery in herself, never knowing which side she is really on. Tarian's baby is a miracle in herself whether in the womb or out. I am really ready to find out what happens next. This author did a heck of a job bringing this ...more
