I was born and raised in Kansas City, MO where I grew up with four older brothers. I now reside in Overland Park, Kansas. I'd always loved to write as a child. My teachers would call home not because I was in trouble but because I had a creative imagination and they wanted my parents to know about the crazy stories I was writing. I've always been a hard worker. I started working with my family's company when I was 15 and still haven't stopped. I am a wife, mother of two, hold down a full time job and am now trying to be a indie author. I have a passion for reading and before I started writing I could be found with a Kindle in my hand morning, noon and night. I'm a picky reader so it's hard to please me but I feel like I have a keen eye for a good book.

I hope you all will join me on my new journey as I release my first book Fearless Love. It can be very scary but with my passion for the written word I hope it will be well worth it.

Meh... DNF.

Writing is an art, and only a few people are artists

RANT REVIEW.

I didn't enjoy this book one bit, further from enjoying myself I would say I was more annoyed with the book and the characters.

I wanted to STAB Audra's best friend and her other friends too BUT I'll get to that later....... And I would have done it without an ounce of guild. I mean shut your mouth weird best friend, its like you open it and I wanted to just beat something. Worst best friend ever; and I usually love best friends. Especially the loud ones. But she was loud and so annoying. AGRH.

Now the other best friends, Wayh too over the top.. stop talking like freaking teens.. you are in your thirties+! Behave.

There was just soo much going on in this book. Too much drama that kept getting piled onto the pages. It felt like a roller coaster!
The dialogues were too forced, which is one thing I hate about books.

Even the kids in the books couldn't save it for me. Firstly they were hardly there, and when they were.. they didn't talk or behave like kids. It didn't connect or click and it just felt blah.

I couldn't continue reading this book. It felt very forced both the pace and dialogue wise.

The guy was hot.. but the script of this book was sooo bad... Bracken all of sudden calling Audra all types of endearments.. 'honey' 'baby' 'sweetheart' irritated me to no extent.. YOU WORK TO REMODEL HER HOUSE... NOT TO BECOME THE FATHER OF HER TWINS.

4 Gut Wrenching Happy Stars

Debut novel by Kennedy Kelly

description

Audra loses her husband in a horrible accident, she is left alone to raise their two young children. Her heart is shattered and she doesn't think that she will ever love again. After grieving for over a year, she decides she needs some changes and wants to remodel her house. She finally starts to go out with her friends again, when she by chance meets Brecken in a bar when he orders her a drink. She is completely shocked when Brecken turns up at her house the next day as one of the contractors she contacted to remodel her home.

He winked at me. I totally want to grab his wink - and beat him over the it at this point.

Audra is not ready to open her heart again but reluctantly starts a friendship with Brecken. Brecken brings his own heartache, having lost a close family member as well. Audra finally beings to realize that is ok to move on and love again and thus starts a beautiful romance. Things between them progress really fast thoughout the book, but it doesn't seem to rushed. They experience a lot of ups and downs, and the downs will leave you crying along with them.

description

This book was amazing. I went through every emotion reading it, I cried, I laughed, I did happy dances. The supporting characters are amazing and really feed into the story line perfectly. I love Audra's best friend Quinn - she made me laugh thought the whole book. And Brecken's daughter - Katie Ray - my heart totally broke for her, being raised by an horrible abuse mother. So happy when Brecken took her away to stay with him.

"This is the only place I ever want to be, Audra. With you in my arms and our bodies claiming one another while our souls capture one another."

The only thing that bothered in the story line was a fight Audra and Brecken had that seem to come up out of nowhere and progressed to a break up that left my head spinning thinking what the hell just happened. Brecken at that point of the story seemed extremely immature and it felt out of place to me.

Other than that this book was extremely good and I would recommend it to everyone to read!!

Fabulous debut novel by Kennedy Kelly!

I was looking forward to Kennedy's first book for quite a while and it certainly did not disappoint.. a story of 2 people falling love fast and navigating through some drama and mild angst to make it to their HEA...

Audra Cole lost her husband about a year ago.. she's raising two young twin boys on her own but she has a circle of great friends to help her through her sadness. She's a teacher at the local college and hangs out with her friends.. but she's still a shell of the woman she once was. After a year of going through the paces, her bestie Quinn has had enough.. she lets Audra know that it's time to shake the cobwebs off and get back in the game and meet her a man. Audra isn't ready for anything like that at all..She's still a little heartbroken and doesn't know how to get her groove back....but Quinn is not taking no for an answer.

Looking at myself in the mirror, I looked sad. I didn’t mean to, but I could never really master the craft of covering it up, even with all the makeup I had on tonight.

Audra..

Brecken Michaels knows about loss too.. .he lost his twin brother not to long ago and is still grieving losing his second half. He's got an adorable little girl from a total bitch ex. He's an all around good guy--and hot too!

Brecken...

Brecken spots Audra in the local bar one night.. the night her friends have made her go out to start getting her groove back! Audra thinks he's all kinds of hot but not interested at the moment.. or so she thinks. She can't get the sexy guy out of her mind and then.. what a coincidence when he turns up on her doorstep as a potential home renovator! Audra made an appointment with three separate companies to take their bids for the remodeling she needs done. Brecken's company happens to be her first appt.

The sparks of course fly... the blurb may sound like there is a big age difference but it's not. There is only a 5 year gap between them so no biggie there. It's not long before Brecken is digging his way under Audra's walls and knocking down her defenses. They fell for each other pretty quick. Audra tried to fight it thinking she wasn't ready, but the more Brecken was around, and he was around a lot, the more she felt like she needed him.

True to his word, he had been very patient with me. I know when our kisses lingered and he was excited, he wanted more, but he never once pressured me.

I’d vowed never to get involved with a man again, but Brecken was persistent and earned his place in my heart.

Brecken and Audra connected pretty quickly.. both parents with young children and both knowing deep loss. I did feel like they moved things a little too fast--from barely knowing each other to being each other's world...but they were both people that needed someone so I was able to eventually get on board with the insta-everything they felt for each other.

The road to their HEA however was not without some major obstacles that brought a few drama filled moments, some extra sadness, and major changes to their lives. There was never a dull moment in this story.. there was always something going on. It was borderline almost too much going on, but Kennedy managed to make everything that was happening flow together nicely.

I did feel one thing that happened that was a major deal wasn't really necessary to the story and could have been left out completely. There was enough going on without this happening and I felt the drama it caused would have been better off used in other areas of the story. Still, this was a great debut novel and I look forward to reading more of what Kennedy put's out there. I see great things for her!!

What a refreshing debut novel Kennedy Kelly has given us. One could think that poor Audra has no one to turn to after the devastating loss she suffered a year before. In walks her BFF and quite the little spitfire - Quinn! This is a BFF like no other! Quinn isn't one to take "no" for an answer and drags Audra out for a girl's night out - just what the LOVE doctor prescribed - right? And right it is when Audra meets Brecken who just so happens to be the contractor that is to quote the work she needs done. No spoilers here but it is one of those WTF is happening that you and me are getting tossed together again and again like this?
Audra is tentative about pursuing a relationship, because she has her boys to think about, and because it hasn't been that long and she hasn't finished her grieving process. But guess what? Brecken is there to see that she does. Not without his own baggage, he is the ultimate boyfriend who is out to make it "all better."

But Brecken soon learns that he needs the strength of his woman to help him through the rough times - and trust me, there are a couple of them.

These two end up working it out, but it is a long and winding road for sure.

Kudos to Kennedy Kelly on her fantastic debut novel.

3.5 - 4 ★'s

Audra lost her husband in a sky diving accident and is finally ready to get back out in the dating world. She meets Brecken and is immediately attracted to him but she's scared to take things further. Fortunately, Brecken doesn't give up easily.

Audra is easy to like. She's gone through something devastating and is trying to move on. Thankfully, she has some wonderful friends and family to help her along.

Brecken has also suffered a lost but he's had longer to deal with things. He's working on a successful business and helping raise his daughter. However, when he meets Audra, all bets are off.

Brecken and Audra take a while for things to get steamy. There's some dramas and just basically having to get passed that point where they are comfortable with each other. Once they do, Hello...things are quite steamy and intense and you won't be disappointed.

description

There are a lot of secondary characters that we get to know...some very well. Audra's best friend, Quinn is quite the character!

One of the problems for me was there was too much going on. Too many dramas that got handled too quickly and they were some pretty intense situations! I think they were handled well but it sort of felt like a roller coaster!

The narrative is also quite detailed and descriptive. It took me a bit to get used to it but I think KK did a good job for her first book.

One thing I really loved was the cover and the chapter headings. They were beautiful! I even loved the little heart icon that popped up now and then.

Overall, I enjoyed the story and I loved the ending although it killed me what happened. I think having both POVs really made the story that more enjoyable.

First of all I would like to thank the Author for giving me an ARC.

This book was sooo good. It has it all the sweet,. sexy, funny and heartbreak that I love in the books I read.

Brecken oh where to start! He was uber HOT!! I love his dimple. This man can charm the panties off a Nun. He was so sweet and took such good care of Audra.

I loved Audra's strength she's been through so much. She was stubborn as hell in the beginning but I think she was protecting her self and her children. She's a great mother and a great friend. And speaking of friends her crew reminded me of mine they were a hoot. Though Quinn could be a little much and what a slut! lol

The kiddies were adorable and I love how they were with Brecken. I wish we got more with Brecken's daughter poor little thing.

I enjoyed this so much it was a rollercoaster of emotions towards the end I was like "Jesus what else is gonna happen"

Read this if you love Alpha men with hearts of gold and with a couple that love each other with HOT passion!!!!!

This book was kindly gifted to me from the author for an honest review.

I think that this book would have been great if the author had chosen just one crisis moment and allowed the story to center around that. But with 8 separate crises, it just became a roller-coaster that never ended. The storyline didn't need filler. The concept was great. I was really excited to read it. The idea of losing your husband and having to learn to date, trust and love again? That intrigued me. I wanted to read that story, but it got lost along the way. I do think that Kennedy Kelly is more than capable of writing a great story like that. This was her debut and it got a little off track, but the idea behind the book was great.

I really liked the opening of the book when Audra's friends drag her out for the night, forcing her to live again after a horrible tragedy. They really did seem super supportive.

I liked Brecken. He was kind and considerate and helpful to a fault. Audra was ok. I could have used some more development on her. We are told she was a professor, but I never read what she taught or what her PhD. was in. And I was surprised how she acted considering her time in academia. I hated Quinn. I don't care how devoted she was to Audra; her one tracked mind was sophomoric and unnecessary. The girlfriends seemed supportive, but a bit juvenile for their ages and professions. It seemed like every occasion was a bachelorette party. I had a hard time relating to any of the characters. I think if Audra had been developed more, I would have liked her.

The only character I really had a problem with was Quinn. I don’t want to spend this review bashing her; she just wasn't my kind of friend. She was awesome to Audra, but obviously had some serious daddy issues to deal with.

The POV while in Audra's head was fine, but I did not connect with Brecken's POV. He seemed one dimensional during those parts, which was a shame because his character had interesting back story.

I was a bit confused as to when their relationship began. I got the KA vibe when she was ignoring his advancements and he was ignoring her declining him. That was cute, but it still all seemed a bit rushed, especially when she turned to him for help with her children. That is a serious step to take. I wouldn’t have been able to turn my kids over to a man I didn’t know.

The one thing that did bother me was that it felt to me that in order for Audra to fall for Brecken she had to find fault in her deceased husband. I didn't like that. It felt ugly. She loved him enough to not leave her home for a year, the fact that she started discovering all his faults as she got to know Brecken saddened me.

I think that all and all, the story told proved that Kennedy Kelly is quite creative and as she finds her footing her books will only get better and better. This book was an excellent example of an author whose mind is filled with stories just begging to be told. I will read her next book as I believe it will be a great.

2.5 stars and a chocolate port, as I know Audra would approve ;)

Dnf at 40% I wouldn't mind finishing it but I have too little time and lot of books in my rader.

Not to sound rude but I didn't have problem with the story but I sure as hell didn't like the writing! It was too cheesy! Dialogues were direct, very formal and too easy, Usually conversation involving kids will be cute but here it was unusual like kids were handed a bad script!!.
Bracken all of sudden calling Audra 'honey', 'sweetheart' and 'baby' irritated the hell out of me and I mean one day he's assigned the job to remodel her house next thing he says he wouldn't mind getting involved with widow with twins and don't mind being a father for them, then the sudden rush in story where she is hospitalized and Brecken happen to rescue her(as her best friend is not well and parents are not in town, her friends are busy with their kids. How convenient is that?? ) and look after her and her kids and she is OK with that? I mean she knows nothing about this guy and how can she trust him with her kids?? oh ya! "HE IS THE NICE GUY" it was said they were attracted towards each other but I didn't see the connection at all, except he's sexy and good looking and she's gorgeous! the characters were 30 plus but sounded like bunch of silly teenagers!

I love romance but there were no heart fluttering moment nor did I swoon, didn't see any magic in this one.

This was just too chessy for me.
The group of girlfriends were too over the top!
How many times can you call someone a Hooker as an endearment until it gets annoying?
The confusion in names, ummm sure how many Audra's do you know?
The slut best friend who all of a sudden has the right to call her fuck buddy a dick because he didn't want to get serious. That's your fault, you're all about the sex and then get mad when a guy does it to you, GTHO
There was just too much for me that didn't work,

Um no just NO!! I tried, I honestly tried harder then I've ever tried on a book because the author WAS a friend of mine. I was so annoyed by Quinn, the best friend. Both Audra(M/C) and Quinn behaved more like 13 yr old horny boys, more so Quinn then Audra. But really Audra's whole girl clan behaved like 13 yr old boys! Everything out of Quinns mouth had to do with sex, well pretty much everthing, like 98%, just annoying. Quinn treats men as fuck buddies, nothing more but then outta the blue she finds out that one of her fuck buddies (which just happens to be Breckens best friend) is seeing someone else and she has the audacity to get all pissed off and Brecken and Audra split up because of it, REALLY? WHO the hell breaks up with the person they are seeing because of someone elses problems!!!

And Audra was supposed to be a college professor there was nothing proper or refined (like a professor would be) about her. The dialogue was Way Way WAY over the top and WAY too forced the kids didn't even behave like kids. One of the things that got on my last freaking nerve was that everything was said with a laugh or a smile its pretty much the only emotion in the book. They would have scorching hot kiss then laugh so hard afterwards, just didnt make sense at ALL.The word smile came up 183 freaking times that means over half of the book had the word smile on the page it was just annoying. Things would be said just out of the blue things that didnt even go with the scene going on...for instance one second Brecken was talking about being inside of Audra she was putting him off because they have guests he finally says okay we will wait until later but...I have to say one thing b4 we go out there he starts saying things like you, the boys and katie ray have me, fucking have me (yeah your so gone for by a woman who acts like a kid and you've known for like 2 minutes). ONE of the things that happened that had me saying WTF out loud was that they hadn't spent really anytime together, they weren't dating, (but there was a physical attraction to each other) however, they were getting a quick drink after group therapy, as friends, and they were talking and Audra was saying stuff to deter him away from pursuing her, and saying stuff like.. 'plus I have two boys to think about what man wants to step in and take on an already made family' (or something along those lines) and Brecken who she has known for like half a second and has only spoken with like 3 or 4 times, says that he would love to step in and play daddy to a set of twins that he hasn't even had a conversation with!! I mean come on!!, really?? So many things happened in the book and they were resolved way too quickly, there was just too much stuff going on, and sooooooo much cheesy dialogue. I didn't feel any connections to the characters. There were some just okay parts in the book but for the most part, sorry, It just didn't work for me at ALL. I couldnt even finish it ,I got to like 61% and couldn't take anymore. BUT who knows it might work for you as they say "ones mans trash is another mans treasure", it might be YOUR cuppa. So I do urge you to read it for yourself and decide, I don't like writing bad reviews and I rarely do, I'm pretty easy to please. As I said this one just didnt work for me. Better luck next time. On to the next book.

I would like to thank the author for gifting me with a review copy!

This is the debut novel for author Kennedy Kelly.
We start off with our heroine coming to terms with the fact she is a widow, while she has lost a great love she is ready to move on with her life and start living again. Our hero happens upon her on her first outing with her friends, and the chemistry she feels with him has her running away. Little does she know she will see him again very soon. I think the way our MC interact, their said chemistry and their story lines are well written and take the reader on a roller coaster ride of emotions. I find with debut novels the secondary cast can sometimes overshadow the main characters, which seemed to be the case here, especially with the best friend. She was so over the top, and not in a good way, I really felt my self cringing when she was involved. I really liked both Audra and Brecken, as well as heir adorable kids, and the bumpy path their story followed. Well done!

I was gifted a copy of this prior to publishing.
This is a story about Widowed Audra who a year after losing her husband and leaving her to raise their twin boys is ready to start living her life again. She meets Sexy Contractor Brecken and ends up hiring him to help renovate her house. After many kind jesters Brecken finally gets Audra to agree to a date. Can these two survive a few miss steps.. can they make it though a health scare.. some baby momma drama.. those questions will keep you turning to the next age of this great suspenseful love story!
I truly enjoyed this book! It really had be captivated from page one all the way till the end! There is a huge shocking moment for Brecken.. and I don't want to give anything away but it really caught me off guard..

Can't beat that!

What an awesome first book for this upcoming author! Feels like she's been writing for years and that is a blessing.

I LOVE the characters! Love how she writes and you feel like you're in the book with them and going through their trials and tribulations. You experience the loss, the love, and the heartbreak. Can they survive and be together after all?

There were quite a few plot twists that keep you reading until the last page. Some caught me completely off guard and they will do that to you as well.

I'm impressed with this up and coming new author! This was a wonderful story of a widow finding love again when you least expect it. So many things that captured my attention throughout the story yet, it wasn't overwhelming. There were varying aspects to the relationship building process that worked for me. It seemed real...even the really tragic part. The banter between the girlfriends was pretty funny as well! There was a perfect blend of humor, sex and drama that just balanced this out into a fantastic story.

I don't even know where to start with this book....

This is a debut novel by this Author and I swear you would think she had been writing for years!

The character development was amazing, the plot line was different and completely unexpected, and the overall heart of this story was mind blowing!

I was left feeling every kind of emotion possible while reading this story. There were times I laughed, times I cried and definitely times I was left squirming in my seat!

I am now a reader of Kennedy Kelly's for LIFE!

This story touched me in so many ways that I was in a serious book hangover after.

Can't wait to see what else she has in store for us.

Audra is a widow, her husband having died after a freak parachuting accident. She is a college professor and now the single mother to five-year-old twin boys and is starting to pick up the pieces of her life, a year after the tragedy. The book opens with her friend Quinn pretty much forcing Audra to participate in a girl’s night out with their tight group of friends. When a hot younger man, Brecken Michaels, sends a shot her way and strikes up a conversation with her, she’s not sure what to think. While she’s attracted to the guy, she still feels as though she’s not being faithful to her dead husband Miles.

In order to move on, she decides to go ahead with some remodeling she has been wanting to do on her home, trying to make it more “her” space, rather than “their” space. She sets out to find a contractor; and when Brecken Michaels shows up at her doorstep, the first contractor to give her a quote, her world is turned upside down. Brecken has come highly recommended by a friend and after his visit, she cancels the other quotes and decides to go with him.

Brecken Michaels is a single dad and is working hard to get his fledgling construction company off the ground. He has had his eye on Audra for a while, having taken one of her classes at the local university. So when he is referred to her by her friend to give her a quote for some remodeling on her home, he takes the opportunity. She is just as beautiful as he remembers and after securing the bid on her home renovation, he wants to pursue her as more than just a client.

However when he shows up one day and meets her twin boys, he suddenly commences freak out leaving Audra to wonder what went wrong. Brecken is dealing with his own tragedy; will the two of them ever be able to get over the heartbreak they have suffered? Or could they face their challenges together, overcoming the hurdles on the way to healing?

When yet another tragedy strikes, affecting the both of them, they are once again faced with more hurdles, but can their relationship stand this test? Or will Brecken shut Audra out and refuse to make the relationship work? Will Audra fight for Brecken or will she choose to not take the chance of having her heart broken again?

I loved the relationship between Audra and Quinn. Audra played the yin to Quinn’s yang. They seem to be polar opposites of each other yet they work together so well. The love they have for each other is obvious and the network of friends that Audra has makes the character of Audra all the more lovable and provided for more than a little comic relief.

Fearless Love was a sweet, well written, if not slightly predictable romance that was a quick and easy read. The storyline was well developed and engaging and I loved the characters, especially the women involved. The whole chocolate obsession did get to be a bit much after a while and the pet names they had for each other were a bit annoying. This is a solid four star read; as I said, it is slightly predictable, but I enjoyed the happily ever after and loved the fact that it is a standalone novel. The epilogue wraps the book up nicely and I found myself genuinely happy for the characters involved. Ms. Kelly is a new author and is off to a great start, I’m definitely looking forward to more from her in the future!

The book starts after the tragic loss of Miles Cole, Audra's husband. It is a sad story because of how he dies. I wont spoil it, but it was a shocker. The characters are different in the fact that they are a little older, Audra is 35 and a professor. She has a lot of life to live and she is in that transitional stage of grief. She is not a shut in, she goes about life and sort of just exists. I was glad that the author didnt create a great depression out of this character. She has some great friends that aid in trying to balance out her grieving process. The book starts with Audra on the cusp of healing from the loss of her husband Miles.

I liked Audra and of course Jace and Jackson, her children. Now, there is her best friend Quinn who was comic relief for me. Audra has a nickname for Quinn; she calls her "hooker". Not ideal, but for Quinn I think it fits well. I laughed anyway and that is all that matters. It was good to have a funny and light character to balance both Audra and Brecken. When the girls go out she runs into Brecken and it turns out he took one of her classes. He is a few years younger, but lucky for me nothing huge. I am glad he was self-sufficient.

Audra was a professor but that aspect of her life wasn't really spoken about much. She wasn't an old English professor reading Hamlet so for that I was thankful. She was the perfect blending of smart, sexy and well read. It was an enjoyable read that made me smile even though grief was the main subject.

Brecken comes to give an estimate for work to be done on Audra's house. I was sort of glad that she was doing a little remodel, I think it was helping the healing process. So hottie Brecken enters to give an estimate. Great story there. Some pretty emotional parts, making it worth the read! The end of the book meant the end! Another book completed, no series or cliffhanger. There was yummy steamy scenes too.

This was a great debut by Ms. Kelly!!

We can only imagine how hard it is to love on after the loss of a spouse. How do you fit into a world you only knew with them?

It's hard for Audra to finally start living but she knows for her sake and her boys, she just has to.. And that's where we meet Mr. Brecken Michaels!!

They both move forward after losses and seem to lean on each other, maybe somewhat too much too soon, but who am I to judge!!

This is a true story of loss, love, friends and moving on.

I am totally girl crushing on Quinn, Audra's BFF. That girl is a riot!! Totally wish I could party with her!!

Jerah needs to die a slow and painful death. Kids should be happy and not have to tiptoe around their own mother.

Brecken maybe should have told Audra who he was, but would it have sunk in? They weren't exactly in the library.

Omigawd, the meeting!! It's an "Oh!" moment, followed by an "Oh..." moment.

Her boys are adorable!

Katie Ray, I love you. That is all I can say right now.

Hilarious how Brecken "gives" the dimple to everyone. Like Flynn Rider from Tangled with the smolder.

And the hits just keep coming...

I love that Audra is a chocolate whore like me.

I received an ARC from the author in exchange for an honest review.

DNF
Quite a few other readers DNF'd it, i totally agree with them. Unrealistic dialogue with words like 'Hooker' and 'Fancy' as endearments. Silly bunch of girls and a silly heroine.

Freshman Author Kennedy Kelly did an awesome job with her work in Fearless Love. I was drawn in, made my Head movie and we all know that makes me happy & invested in the story. Let me begin by saying that I ran the gambit of emotions while reading this book. I mean I laughed, I cried, I fell in Love with Brecken & Audra, our main characters, the romance between the 2 was strange at times but I wanted to know more about them. I became invested in them. There are 2 Little guys in this story that just made me wanna pick them up & give them a big old hug & then there is Doodle Bug who OMG my Momma Wolf just wanted to protect her & rip the face off of Jerah. Then we had Quinn who well all I can say for her is WOW & Yep I have one of those kinds of friends I think we all do. Lots of other characters helped with the story & to me it was as if I was actually there. A part of the story I love when that happens. Our 2 heros of the story were both put thru the ringer which only seemed to brighten their future together only to have it ripped out from under them here is where the anger part of emotion came in & at one point I wanted to throw my Kindle across the room. So see how emotionally attached I became to these people.
Ok so here is what you need to do, you need to 1-click on this book, you need to become invested in these people like I did. Be ready to laugh, to cry, to be mad and to even think how much more can 2 people go through. You will be so glad you read this book, it will give you warm fuzzies & it will also make other things tingle as well. Oh yeah. Now here is where I have to say if you are not into sex scenes this of course is not the book for you but you would still love this book like I did just be prepared for it. There is also some violence in one of the scenes that just made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up you need to be prepared for that as well. So in conclusion....What are you waiting for? Go on 1-Click this book you will be so glad you did.

I was lucky enough to read an advanced copy of this book from this debut author. I have to say it was pretty awesome!

Audra is a mother who has suffered through the loss of her husband. Now a single mom she struggles through the days with her twin boys. That is until Brecken walks into her life.

description

Brecken knows something of tradgey himself, and while he's been good at holding people at bay his heart may have finally met its match.

description

This is one of those stories that I really can't say too much without giving spoilers...so I will tell you that it may possibly make you cry (keep tissues near)
description

4.5 stars and 2 huge thumbs up to Kennedy Kelly! I can't wait to see what she does next!

Wooot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Advanced Copy Provided by Author - review straight from the heart.
no I didn't eat the author out for an ARC she just threw me a bone lol

Update

Generally speaking I am a book gold digger, a cryer, or an urban fantasy girl. so this was a little bit out of my normal cupa tea but still within my cup.
Most authors have trouble writing male leads or female leads so they are believable and I come from a home where my father died when I was young. my mom raised my brother and I alone. so this was believable. my mom never remarried so the hesitant I got it.
over all for a debut. it was WOW. is everyone I fool around reviewing books with gonna write kick ass book my god. lol it's been crazy

The true test of a book is when you hit the end of it. are you glad you read it. well im glad I read it.

This was a great read. It's a story of love, loss and tragedy.

Audra is a professor and try to deal with the loss of her husband while trying to raise two twin boys. She has an amazing support system in her friends. Her best friend Quinn decides its time for Audra to get out and live again. Audra decides a good way to move on is to remodel her house. What she wasn't ecpecting was to fall for the contractor Brecken.

Brecken is instantly attracted to Audra. He knows that Audra has bulit up very strong walls around her heart and he is determined to break them. Once Audra lets him and tragedy happens that will turn their lives completely upside down. Will their love for each other be able to overcome it?
