I have been a fan of Savanna Grey's for a while now, and was eagerly waiting for Conflicted Hearts to release, and let me tell you, this book did not disappoint. This book, even though it's a part of a series, can be read as a stand alone, it is Kathryn's and Grady's story who we met in Captured Heart.
First let me tell you that Conflicted Hearts was a little different then the rest of Savanna's books, as it has a little bit of a supernatural element to it (not paranormal) and a lot of suspense, and as always, that beautiful romance that Savanna writes so well.
Kathryn is the local newspapers lead reporter, and Grady is the town's sheriff, these two have been best friends since the age of 10 and you can tell immediately that they are both attracted to one another. Acting on that attraction is something Grady has wanted to do forever, but Kathryn has a very jaded view of Romance and keeps everyone at an arms length. Finally things heat up between these two, and it's amazing!
I love how fiercely protective of Kathryn Grady is.. and how independent Kathryn is, those two things alone create some funny banter and back and forth between these two when they are at each others throats.
Then there is the mystery part of this novel. Everything is centered around the sale of Grayson Manor and Kathryn trying to find out more about the manor for an article and trouble seems to find her. She sees something that makes her think she's just gone crazy, and then other mysterious things start to happen to her around her house and when she's out at the manor. Sometimes this part of the story will give you the chills because of the things going on, but when all is said and done, it's an amazing story.
This story will have you guessing so many things, will Kathryn let her guard and let Grady in? Who is tormenting her and causing all of this havoc? Why does Little John need Kathryn's help? All of these questions get answers and wow! Let me tell you, amazing!!! I had to sleep on this book after reading it to write the review so I could get my feelings in this book composed. I absolutely adored this book and believe it's Savanna's best work yet! I loved all of her books so far, but Conflicted Hearts just does something and pulls at your heart strings more than the other books.
If you haven't read any of Savanna's books yet you are definitely missing out on an amazing author and amazing stories. Go grab your copy of Conflicted Hearts today!

Brick-beautifully built, mysterious
What can I say about Grady and Kathryn’s (aka Kat) journey? This journey of these two young lovers takes place in Garrett’s Point. Grady and Kat have known one another forever. They both live separate lives but Kat has one fear that seems like it will never disappear. Does it?
Grady is the hometown boy that turns Kat's world funky. He is not afraid to admit his feelings for her. Kat is the bees knees for him.
When a strange developer comes to town wanting to turn a mansion into a resort the town’s axis is thrown off kilt. Strange things start to happen inside the mansion. Once a left untouched for 30 plus years the mansion holds the key to finding salvation between the town and these two loves.
Can past loves be reunited by the mansions ghost of the past? Yup you read that right. This read reminds me of Casper the friendly Ghost and for this you will have to pick up the book to read why the comparison. You will not be disappointed.
I will let you know that there is some major spontaneous combustion going on between Grady and Kat when they finally do get together. But do they stay together? Hmm
I think the author did a wonderful read with this story of Grady and Kat. You have the mystery, love, a bit of paranormal with a kick of a few bad guys to boot. This is her second book in this series. You so will enjoy this couple as much as I did.
Great summers read for sure.

This was a really awesome book to read.

As well as the attraction between these two increases, There's a storm brewing in Garrett's point. I don't want to give much away but there are a lot of secrets revealed from the past which involve Kathryn and a ghost from the past helps her with her future.
I love this story. It was light, enjoyable and pleasant to read. It was the sort of book that makes you smile. Grady is just too sexy, adorable and so romantic! A great main character. Kathryn is so feisty and independent that she gives Grady a run for his money. They are perfect for each other and made a great pairing as the main characters. You can read this book as a standalone as i have not read book one of the Garrett's Point series which by the way, i am definitely going to read now!!
Excellent, great feel good book with lots of twists and turns. Don't miss out on this series!

I absolutely loved Captured Heart and this book was enjoyable as well.
I felt this book took a turn to be more light hearted than Savanna Grey's first book but it fit perfectly with Kathryn and Grady's personalities. I also have to applaud the author for her abilities to write a romance novel in a competitive market for explicit sexual scenes. I absolutely adore how she can capture my attention and suck me in with a touch of sexual tension and "clean steam". KUDOS
Kathryn and Grady is a perfect example of best friends were it is painfully obvious they should be more. Kathryn's independent streak has kept relationships and her heart at a safe distance of ever finding anything more than a bed warmer. While Grady has been side lining it. Always there for her, longing for her, but knows that if that line of friendship was crossed and things went awry they may not be able to return to being friends. Grady is also swoon worthy and who wouldn't find a sexy sheriff hot?! Not this girl!
There is so much mystery and plot twists that will keep you on the edge of your seat. And although there is plenty of banter and laugh-out- loud moments there is also a serious side that is heart wrenching and raw.

I can't get enough of these characters, that's for sure! Savanna Grey has created such an amazing community in Garrett's Point. It's the perfect small town.
I love Kat and Grady together, just love them! They have been friends for a long time and they know basically all there is to know about one another. When their passion for one another finally is too much to handle, they let it loose.
In the midst of their new-found relationship, there is a change on the horizon in Garrett's Point. A company wants to come in and turn one of Garrett's Point's oldest buildings into a B&B. The problem? This building is not only an old cherished building for the town but is said to be haunted by a young boy who died there.
If you're looking for a classic romance. One that oozes sex appeal without graphic sex scenes, I cannot recommended Savanna Grey enough. Her stories are proof that amazing romances do not need to have a million, or even one, graphic sex scene!
I cannot wait for more from the residents of Garrett's Point - I can't wait to see what is in store for the town next!

This is Kat & Grady's Story.
Kat being the outspoken of the group, Emma is the quiet, kindergarden teacher. Melanie the owner of the popular diner was the one with the common sense. Sydney, the city council woman, was the professional with a heart of gold. This girls have been friends since childhood, they all went to college in different places, but they came back to Garretts Point.
Grady McCloud had left town for 4 years to be in the ARMY, after ending his last tour in Afghanistan, he became the Sheriff of Garretts Point, being friends with the girls he always was a protective brother to them with the exception of Kat, he always had love her in silence.
After a series of events started happening once a huge company wanted to buy the Greyson Manor, a hystorical landmark in Garretts Point, Kat decides to investigate why is so much intersted in this house.
Can Kat and Grady discover the big secret that surrenders the manor before tragedy strikes again?
I love this story, the love between Kat and Grady is so palpable is unbelievable, also I love that is has a thriller sense.

This is the second book in the Garrett’s Point series but can be read as a stand-alone.
I was so happy to see the return of the whole gang from book one and this time I got Grady and Kathryn’s story…..
Kathryn is the small towns local reporter and Grady is the town sheriff… these two have been best friends since the age of ten, but Kathryn believes love never sticks so neither of them have ever pushed for more…. Until they have to work together on a story which causes Grady’s already protective nature over what is his to kick up a notch or two… and the sparks between them fly…
Can Grady prove to Kathryn, that the right type of love always sticks around???
Can Kathryn let the wall of armour surrounding her heart down and let Grady in???
This story isn’t all heart and flowers romance…. It is twisted up with suspense, mystery and secrets.
As always Savanna has produced an easy, fast paced story which I was able to fly through in one sitting… I look forward to more from this series in the future……

5 Crazy Ass Stars!!!
Another great story from Savanna! I just love when books in a series can be read as a stand-alone. I was sucked in right from the start and absolutely love Garrett's point. I wanna move there! I love the dynamic that Kat and Grady have. I love how their relationship evolves. I could not turn the page fast enough! This is an absolute must read!!!
I can't wait to read the next installment of the Garrett's Point series.

Nothing like having feelings for your best friend and afraid to tell him or her. Enjoyable read as they go about their lives and he rescues her again and again, as usual. Funny, serious and eye opening, at least for them! Good book, can't wait for more in this series.
